Samantha Saving Some Proofs For Her Baby
Other day when top heroine Samantha Ruth Prabhu walked to the stage of Filmfare Awards to receive her fourth Black Lady for Best Actress performance, she made some stunning comments. Though looking very lovely they are both thought provoking and insightful.
When Samantha is feeling nervous before going to awards function, Naga Chaitanya questioned her why she’s so anxious about getting the award. Do you know what Sam said then? “Tomorrow when our baby asks me, ‘Dad is a big star what about you?’ then I could show these trophies”, said Samantha to her boyfriend, to whom she’s already engaged.
Well, that says Samantha is very much desiring the black lady as she wants to show them as a proof to her babies about her victories. But what is worrying fact here is that even a starlet like Samantha has to worry about her future as marriage is going to change the way she looks at things and also how things look at her in the society dominated by men.
Coming to Filmfare awards, this is her fourth black lady win. Earlier she grabbed Best Actor trophies for Eega and Neethane Enpon vasantham, and Best Debut for Ye Maya Chesave movies.
Bollywood Heroines Embarrassing Chiru?
We have heard various stories about the ordeals faced by the makers of Prabhas’ ‘Saaho’ when they aimed to rope in a Bollywood actress to essay the leading lady. It is heard that makers of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy’ are also facing similar issues.
After witnessing the mayhem created by Baahubali across India, Megastar and his team has decided to mount Uyyalawada on a huge scale. The budget has been hiked and efforts are being made to rope in top technicians and actors from Tamil and Hindi circuits.
Coming to the film’s leading lady, the likes of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vidya Balan were reportedly approached earlier given their ability to suit Chiru’s age and image. However, as neither of the duo has responded positively, Sonakshi Sinha and Priyanka Chopra have been approached recently, as per media reports.
Since PC is busy with her Hollywood commitments, she isn’t able to adjust time for even Bollywood films. Expecting her to give her nod to Uyyalawada is too much to dream for. Sonakshi on the other hand has earlier paired up with Rajinikanth for “Lingaa”. The flop result of that film and also her apprehensions on being losing the tag of Bollywood heroine, she hasn’t accepted another South film yet, Uyyalawada seems no exception.
With all popular Bollywood actresses turning down the film, team of Uyyalawada is clueless on how to solve this heroine conundrum. Anushka looks to be the only option for Megastar, provided she can adjust her dates.
How Fans Reacted to Team India’s Loss
Million of Indian hearts were broken last night after the crushing loss the Indian cricket team had faced against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2017 final. Fans were heavily dejected but they still haven’t abused our players as some of the fans used to do earlier.
As soon as Pakistan handed a crushing defeat to India, Indian cricket fans on social media started sharing congratulatory messages for the neighboring nation’s players, and sent heartwarming message for our Indian team. Messages like ‘Win or Loss, We’re with You’, ‘We still love our Indian players’, ‘you were sublime throughout the tournament, this was just one off day’ etc. were flooded on internet.
In the past, we have witnessed incidents where some fans bashed our players on social media, some even hurled stones at the houses of Indian cricketers, some abused the family members of cricketers blaming them whenever Indian team lost major matches. Indians are very passionate about cricket and they can’t digest the team losing, especially to Pakistan.
But, after last night’s defeat, despite it was a humiliating loss by a mammoth 180 runs, rarely a hate message was seen against Team India. Fans have pat the back of our players for reaching the final on the basis of consistent performances, consoled them saying it was just a one off-day, filled confidence in them saying they will stand by them no matter win or loss and wished them for upcoming tournaments.
This change in mindset of fans will boost the morale of our players and motivate them to do better.
Pak Champions, India Losers
Pakistan Cricket Team, which had been carrying low expectations and miraculously entered the finals, has beaten its arch-rival India in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 on Sunday in The Oval stadium in Kennington, London.
India has won the toss and selected to field thus handing over batting to Pakistan. The team Pakistan has showed a great batting display and scored 338 in 50 overs for the loss of four wickets. Whereas India was all out for 158 in 30.3 overs thus making it a dark day in the history of Indian cricket. Pakistan has won on India by a margin of 180 runs.
In chasing the huge target, India couldn’t show any sort of competence as it lost its first wicket (Rohit Sharma) at zero. Skipper Virat Kohli followed the suit. Even as he got a lifeline in the slip, Kohli was catch out in the very next ball. Although Yuvraj and Dhoni tried to resurrect the match, Yuvi was out unfortunately for a LBW that was declared out in the review. Mahendra Singh Dhoni has played a careless shot and given catch in the leg side. Despite losing major wickets quickly, Hardik Pandya played a spectacular innings. He has scored fastest half century in the Champions Trophy and at a point hopes of Indian cricket fans were revived by Pandya-Jadeja combine as the run-rate was almost back at 6.
However, Pandya was run-out by small miscommunication by Jadeja and India paid a huge price as in no time, it lost all its remaining wickets. Pandya scored 76 out of 43 balls including 4 fours and 6 sixes making the match interesting at one point.
Even bowling wise, Indian bowling was pretty week. Except Bhuvaneshwar, none of the bowlers couldn’t restrict Pakistan batsmen. In addition to it, poor bowling and too many extras – wides, no balls – have hampered India’s chances of victory. Fakar Zaman made 114 runs, Azhar Ali scored 59, Hafeez scored 57 (not out) and Babar made 46 runs.
Compromise Between KTR & Harish!
The differences arised between Irrigation minister T Harish Rao and IT minister KT Rama Rao over their hegemony in the government as well as in the ruling TRS party seems came to an end.
With the intervention of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the irrigation minister compromised and buried the Hatchet with KTR in the recent meeting held at Pragathi Bhavan.
Giving a clear indication that he will recognize KTR leadership in future, Harish already started praising the Industry minister at various programmes.
Harish attended the India’s first Medical Devices park inauguration function and congratulated KTR for taking such big initiative. He applauded the minister for bringing huge investments in the industrial sector from across the world through new industrial policy.
Leaders says Harish and KTR will share the responsibility of retaining power in 2019 elections. KCR is likely to entrust some important assignment to the two leaders one year ahead of the elections.
Trade: Huge Bet on Gopichand
The trade figures of Gopichand and Sampath Nandi’s Gautham Nanda are huge and surprising. First-time in Gopi’s career, the film’s pre-release business is over 30 Crore. While noted producer-distributor Dil Raju has bagged the film’s theatrical rights in Nizam for 6.30 Crore, the film has fetched 4 Crore in Ceded. The satellite rights have been sold to Gemini TV for 5.50 Crore and the Hindi dubbing rights said to had raked in another 4.75 Crore.
Presently, the discussion for the theatrical rights in Andhra is going on. It’s heard that distributors are offering a fancy figure for the area and the business is likely to be closed there soon.
The figures as staggering and it’s first of its kind pre-release trade of a Gopi film. Thanks to Sampath Nandi’s stylish makeover and great reception to its teaser which crossed over 2 million views, the film has been making some good noise. Especially, Dil Raju buying the Nizam rights has garnered more curiosity on the film.

Why is Naidu scared of acting against JC?
Telugu Desam Party supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been leaking news to his favourite media for the last two days that he has been very angry and upset with TDP MP from Anantapur J C Diwakar Reddy for his rude behaviour with Indigo Airlines staff on Thursday.
However, there has been not a single move from Naidu that he would take serious action against JC.The very next day, he deputed his close aide and Rajya Sabha member C M Ramesh to JC, asking the latter to say sorry so that it would end the matter, but the latter was defiant.
He cared a damn for Naidu and without even bothering to inform the latter, he had left for his 10-day Europe trip along with his family.Naidu did not make any statement on JC episode, though he has been under attack from the Opposition parties, and also from his own party leaders.
They are now questioning the TDP chief for his silence on the “rogue” behaviour of the MP. Even the common people in the social media are taking Naidu to task for not acting against JC.
Apparently, Naidu is hesitating to take action against JC because of political reasons.Naidu fears the TDP might lose the support of Reddys in Anantapur and other parts of Rayalaseema, who are otherwise inclined towards YSR Congress party.
He is hopeful that the issue would subside on its own within a few days and everything would be alright by the time JC returns from Paris.
