Sunil Spoils the Image of a Good Director!

Director Kranthi Madhav won critical acclaim with his two movies “Onamalu” and “Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju” as both films were different from the regular stuff and they had solid storylines.
When the news came that Kranthi Madhav is directing Sunil, everyone expected that Sunil would finally get a good movie to boast of.
But the recently released theatrical trailer of “Ungarala Rambabu” is full of formulaic comedy bits and dialogues.
It sees that the director has succumbed to ‘commercial moviemaking” pressures. Apparently he has gone Sunil’s fold rather than bringing Sunil into his style.
The first song and the trailer give us enough indications that “Ungarala Rambabu” is another regular Sunil kind of comedies.
It is unfortunate to see a director known for good sensibilities has also been spoiled by market demands.
Hottie Bonds With Rumored BF’s Sister

Hot actress Disha Patani, who is rumored to be having a relationship with Tiger Shroff, seems to be bonding well with his sister Krishna Shroff.
While Tiger is keeping himself busy with films, a lonely Disha, who has not even a single film in her kitty, seems to be passing time with her boyfriend’s sister Krishna. Check out these lovely pics that depict how close the duo has become.
Disha and Tiger’s relationship rumors erupted when he had first recommended her name for the single of ‘Befikra’. The song became an instant chartbuster thanks to the sizzling chemistry shared by the two alleged love birds. They were also caught by media vacationing in Bangkok but the duo continued to vehemently deny their relationship.
The trailer of Tiger’s new film ‘Munna Michael’ was recently released. He has ‘Rambo’ remake and ‘Baaghi 2’ in pipeline. Buzz is that Tiger is trying hard to recommend the name of Disha to romance him in ‘Baaghi 2’. On the other hand, she has allegedly been rejecting the offers coming her way either by quoting exorbitant remuneration or demanding only lead roles.

Another Embarrassment for Megastar on TV

Megastar Chiranjeevi, who created a storm at box office with his comeback film ‘Khaidi No.150’, seems to have failed miserably in repeating the same magic on small screen.
Khaidi No.150, which had its first world TV premiere on May 28, Sunday, has reportedly received a shockingly low TRP Rating of 6.9. This is too small a number given how star-studded and how big a success the film was at box office, a non-Baahubali industry hit to say precisely. In fact, the 6.9 TRP is lower than Mahesh Babu’s last year’s disaster, Brahmotsavam’s TRP Rating, 7.52.
If we analyze what might have gone wrong in the case of Khaidi No.150 TV premiere, IIFA Utsavam was also telecast at the same time on another channel. Hence, the viewership could have been divided.
Another reason could be ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu’ show. Megastar had been seen on television on every other day as the host of this largely unsuccessful show. Hence, when the premiere of his film was telecast, viewers may not have shown too much enthusiasm.
What the reason may be, the 6.9 TRP is one of the lowest among films of star heroes. It is another setback for Megastar on small screen, who already failed with MEK. The show has been receiving very poor ratings compared to previous seasons.
Magadheera Makers Surrender to Raabta
Bollywood film ‘Raabta’, which was accused by Geetha Arts of plagiarizing ‘Magadheera’, will have a smooth release as per schedule on June 9 as Allu Aravind withdrew the case on Thursday.
It is known that Allu Aravind had a few days ago sent a legal notice to the makers of ‘Raabta’ accusing them of copying the story of Magdheera including the famous ‘100 fighters action scene’. The case came to hearing on Wednesday where the lawyer representing the team of ‘Raabta’ provided the full script of their film and also argued that a serious allegation such as plagiarism should not be made just after seeing a 2-minute trailer.
As Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts withdrew its complaint this morning, the court ruled the verdict in favor of Raabta. Starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon in lead roles, Raabta also deals with the reincarnation theme. The film’s trailer had strong similarities with Magadheera, which led the Telugu film producers to file a complaint. ‘Raabta’ makers however clarified that there will be a vast difference in the screenplay of both films.
Raabta will hit screens tomorrow.
