Baahubali Left Bollywood Far Behind

In comparison, Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which is placed second, stands far behind with 385 crore nett. No one would have predicted even in their wildest dreams that a Telugu dubbed film would shatter records of Bollywood biggies with such a huge margin.
By the end of its 33rd day at box office, Baahubali 2 Hindi took its total to 500.25 crore, thus creating a new club – The 500 crore club. Interestingly, the film is still playing in significant number of screens across North India.
Meanwhile, the Rajamouli directorial is inching closer to create history by raking in Rs 200 crore share from the Telugu states alone. The epic film has already become the industry hit in Tamil and Kannada and the second highest grosser in Malayalam.
China is the only territory left to be conquered.
After NTR, It’s Rana

News emerged very recently that NTR will be making his debut as a Television host with the Telugu version of successful reality show ‘Bigg Boss’. It seems that another star has already silently started shooting for his debut TV stint.
Macho actor Rana Daggubati, who hogged limelight with his impeccable performance in Baahubali, is reportedly making his debut as the host of a TV show, which will be first of its kind for Telugu TV viewers. The show will have only celebs as guests and they will discuss their friendships, relationships, gossips, projects etc… its more like giving a sneak peek into the personal lives of Tollywood celebs.
The concept sounds interesting but not very inventive. We already have a few TV shows hosted by popular TV anchors where celebs appear as guests. But, a star like Rana Daggubati hosting the show will surely add high value to it and attract audiences’ attention. Reportedly, Rana has already begun shooting for the show and it will go on air in a few months.
It seems that Telugu film stars are slowly adopting the tactic of their Bollywood counterparts who have realized the scope of TV viewership a couple of years in advance.
Trump ‘Inspires’ Jana Reddy

Telangana Congress senior leader K Jana Reddy has made an interesting statement that the Congress will emerge victorious in 2019 assembly election in Telangana just like Donald Trump won the President elections in America.
‘Nobody had predicted Trump’s win in the election. All international agencies forecast Hillary Clinton would get elected but Trump won the election in the end, shocking the entire world. In the same way, all surveys are predicting TRS will retain power in 2019 elections but surprising all, Congress will be voted to power,’ Jana Reddy said.
Adding that the survey results announced by the TRS party were all bogus, Reddy said that people are not happy with the TRS party’s rule. He criticized Chief Minister KCR for failing to address any issue.
