Rajamouli Avoiding Desperate Allu Aravind?

Share

While recently opening up about his highly alleged strained association with Allu Aravind, Rajamouli cited the fake 100 days centres of Magadheera as the reason for differences between them. But, as per latest reports, Rajamouli hasn’t divulged the real reasons and that he is no more interested to work with the Mega producer.

It is heard that Rajamouli has been receiving representations from Allu Aravind to direct his son, Allu Arjun in his next project. Since Rajamouli has committed to do his next film for DVV Danayya, who is a trusted accomplice of Allu Aravind, the mega producer is hellbent on somehow convincing the ‘Baahubali’ maker to direct Bunny.

On the other hand, Rajamouli hasn’t yet decided on his next hero as he is yet to lock the subject of his next film. He is said to have developed some serious differences with Aravind during Magadheera time and it is cited as the prime reason why he has never entered Mega compound after that industry hit film.

Buzz in film circles is that Rajamouli has strategically weaved a story around Magadheera controversy, after all these years, in order to convey the message of ‘No more working together’ to Aravind.

Faded Actress Wants Lead Role in Sanghamithra

Share

After Shruti Haasan has recently walked out of ‘Sangamithra’ due to clash of schedules, the makers of upcoming high budget film ‘Sangamithra’ that is speculated to be made on around Rs 400 crore budget, are breaking their heads to find a replacement.

To mitigate their burden, actress Neetu Chandra, who is being seen these days in only item songs and small films, has offered to play the character of Sangamithra with utmost dedication and honor. She cited her qualifications – an experienced theatre artist and a blackbelt in Taekwondo (she holds two Dan black belts in Taekwondo and represented India in the 1997 World Taekwondo Championships) as to why she is a perfect fit to play the warrior queen.
Makers of Sangamithra may not complain about her looks and talent but they are in search of more popular actress across South and Bollywood.

Anushka and Nayanthara are two probable choices. Anushka may not show keenness in investing a few more years on one huge project and given how busy Nayan is, she may also show least interest.

Dasari’s Unfulfilled Projects: With Pawan & On Jayalalithaa

Share

After the demise of legend Dasari Narayana Rao it is natural to talk about the masterpieces he had made such as Premabhishekam, Meghasandesham, Osey Ramulamma, Thatha Manavadu etc. But, what about the films that he intended to make but failed to do so.

A film in the combination of Dasari and Pawan Kalyan was announced a few years ago. Dasari later clarified that he would only produce the film and choose a potential director. It was rumored that Trivikram would direct this project. Somehow, the project never materialized and Pawan got busy with other commitments.

After the demise of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa in December last year, Dasari expressed his wish of making a biopic on her. He later divulged to media that he was writing the script and would make a formal announcement when he is done with scripting. He was reportedly considering Anushka to reprise Jayalalithaa.

He also planned to make the epic Mahabharata in four parts. The script work had been in progress. Dasari wanted to make a film titled ‘Son’ with his son Arun Kumar as hero, in order to revive his career. The title was also registered at Film Chamber.

Unfortunately, he succumbed to age-related ailments before he could makern any of the above projects. His last directorial, ‘Erra Bus’ (2014) was arn washout at box office. It would have been fitting if he had ended his rnachievement-filled career with a success.

China And Portugal Made Them Miss Dasari

Share

Various celebs have rushed to get a final glimpse of ‘late’ Dasari Narayana Rao who breathed his last other day evening. But the likes of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna are missing from the spot. These big stars are considered to be the stalwarts who should be present at the farewell spot, but their family members have filled the gap.

Unfortunately, Nandamuri Balakrishna is shooting in Portugal at the time of Dasari’s death. He’s shooting for his upcoming 101st film under Puri Jagan’s direction. From there, he has a flight to catch to China. And Megastar Chiranjeevi is already en route China to join the Reunion part of 80s stars, which is being held every year by actress Suhasini. As he’s stuck in transit right now, he’s unable to travel back in time. That’s how both Chiranjeevi and Balayya missed paying a final visit to Dasari’s mortal remains.

At the same time, the likes of Ram Charan and Prabhas also shared their condolence message through social media but missed out visiting in person. In fact, Charan is on a holiday at a distant place near London, UK and takes minimum two days to return. Same is the case with Prabhas who’s taking a break in the USA after 5 years of hectic Baahubali schedules.

Well, as there is a chance of people misunderstanding about the absence of these stars at Dasari’s funeral, the stars have given complete clarity about their inability to reach the final procession.

Story & Title of Kaala Stolen?

Share

Superstar Rajinikanth’s films and plagiarism charges are inextricably linked. Almost all of his recent outings had at some stage faced plagiarism charges. The actor’s recently launched film ‘Kaala’ is no exception to this image damaging phenomenon.

A person named Rajasekaran has now filed a complaint with the Chennai City Police Commissioner alleging that the title and core plot of ‘Kaala Karikaalan’ has been stolen from him.

“I had penned a story for Rajinikanth and titled it as ‘Karikaalan’. During my attempts to meet him, I met his Fans Club’s President in 1996 and shared the story idea and title with him. I got surprised when I saw the posters and title of Rajini’s new film recently. They seemed to have made a few changes but the title and central plot belongs to me,” he allegedly mentioned in his complaint letter.

Rajesekaran claimed that he had registered the title ‘Karikaalan’ with the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce back in 1996 itself. He now demanded the Police Commissioner to take immediate action against the makers of ‘Kaala’ for stealing his story and title.

Dhanush, the producer of ‘Kaala’ has yet to respond. Meanwhile, the film’s shooting is progressing in Mumbai.

Same Party MLAs Attacked Rebel MLA

Share

In what could be a major embarrassment to Aam Aadmi Party, Delhi Assembly today witnessed something that is ‘inexplicable’ and ‘unprecedented’. A section of AAP MLAs have assaulted and tried to choke former minister and rebel AAP MLA Kapil Mishra when he tried to speak against CM Arvind Kejriwal in the floor of the house.

Around five to six AAP MLAs have surrounded Kapil Mishra, beaten him up, tried to strangle him and he was forcibly thrown out of the house. Kapil was marshalled out of Delhi Assembly after a ‘scuffle’ broke between him and other Aam Admi Party MLAs. Speaking after the incident, Kapil reiterated that nothing could stop him in ‘exposing’ Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Admi Party.

Kapil has been waging war against Delhi CM Arvind Kerjriwal and vowed to ‘expose’ Kejriwal. Mishra has been alleging that he would unearth the ‘scams’, ‘hawala’ transactions and ‘foreign funds’ that came to the party.
