Police Seized Anushka’s Caravan
Actress Anushka Shetty, who is currently basking in the worldwide success of ‘Baahubali 2’, has received a rude shock from Tamil Nadu police officials.
Anushka is currently shooting for her new film ‘Bhagmathi’ in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu. The other day, when the police officials stopped her caravan and inquired for documents, the driver allegedly failed to produce the necessary legal papers. The caravan was hence seized and Anushka had to reach the shooting spot from hotel in some other car. The production team is reportedly indulged in resolving the matter.
Interim, the shooting of Bhagmathi is progressing at brisk pace. Ashok of ‘Pilla Zamindar’ fame is directing this film being produced on UV Creations banner. The film will be high on visual effects. Makers are planning an August release.
On personal front, Anushka’s parents have reportedly intensified the search for a perfect groom for this gorgeous diva.
Hero Brings His Lady Luck for Struggling Son
Nagarjuna Akkineni, who is elated with the success of his elder son Chaitu’s latest release ‘Ra Randoi Veduka Chooddam’, is leaving no stone unturned to establish his younger son Akhil as hero.
Afresh, we hear that Nag has reportedly convinced his good friend and actress Tabu to play a crucial role in Akhil’s second film. Tabu hasn’t yet started playing mother characters in South films but she couldn’t say no when Nag himself asked her. However, it is not clear if she will be seen as Akhil’s mother or heroine’s mother in #Akhil2, a Vikram Kumar directorial.
Tabu has proved to be a lady luck for Nag after pairing opposite him in hit films – Nine Pelladatha, Aavida Maa Aavide and Sisindri. Nag hopes that she will cast similar luck on Akhil as well.
The first schedule of #Akhil2 was finished a couple of days ago and the second schedule will commence soon once the makers resolve the heroine issue.
Surprise Star Grabs Three Different Films
Of late, this young hero who has been reeling with flops from a time is picking up some interesting projects. We are talking about young hero Sandeep Kishan, whose success streak took a beating these days with back to back flops.
While Nakshatram is expected to be his game changer, somehow the film is not hitting the marquee from a time due to reasons unknown. Moving on, Sandeep has a couple of other films from Tamil arena like Maayavan which are supposed to have some good content value. More than all these projects, his newest films are much more interesting actually.
Suddenly Mahesh Babu’s sister Manjula announced her film as a director and it has Sandeep in the lead to romance Amyra Dastur and Tridha Chaudhary. This piqued interest as yet another lady director is making her debut in Tollywood. And then Fanaa movie fame Kunal Kohli started to shoot his debut Telugu film in London with Tamanna. Guess what, this film has Sandeep in the lead. And now, he grabbed the lead role in ’16’ movie fame Karthik Naren’s next Telugu-Tamil bilingual film, by replacing Naga Chaitanya.
South Hotties Trying To Disrupt Baahubali
Even after 33 days of a great run at box office, Baahubali 2 is showing its potential at the ticket counters. Despite coming up with some good releases, native Bollywood movies failed to beat the craze around this dubbed Telugu movie. Guess what, three south hotties are now getting ready to beat this mania.
Currently, if we look at Bollywood columns, three hotties including Shruti Haasan, Kriti Kharbanda and Kriti Sanon are taking by a storm with their charms. While Shruti and Kriti Kharbanda are south girls, Kriti Sanon made her debut in southern tinsel town before climbing Bollywood bandwagon. So why are these hotties radiating their scorching looks around in the North right now?
Shruti is promoting her June 9th release “Behen Hogi Teri” where she got paired with talented Rajkumar Rao. Kriti Kharbanda is also doing the same for her next Hindi movie “Guest In London” which releases on June 16th. And then, there is this Raabta hitting cinema on June 9th itself which has Sushant Singh and Kriti Sanon in the leads. Our hotties, who lead in these three films are right now leaving no stone unturned to get maximum attention.
Definitely, these films want to take on the baton from Baahubali 2, and we have to see if they will disrupt the run of the gigantic film created by SS Rajamouli or not.
Hot Actress Spoiling Her Career?
If we have to name one actress who is steadily increasing her fan base despite not having even a single film in her kitty, it has to be lethally sexy Disha Patani. It is heard that she is spoiling her career either by acting too pricey or by demanding films opposite only A-list heroes.
Although Disha has appeared in two movies, none of them really helped her career. The young actress however is a social media sensation with 5.5 million followers on Instagram. Her photo shoots and dancing videos are quite a rage among youth.
Considering her craze, several filmmakers are approaching her with offers but she is said to be outright rejecting them. Disha is demanding only leading lady characters that too in the films of A-list actors such as Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh etc.
She was even approached to play the female lead in Prabhas’ Saaho but she lost the golden opportunity by demanding 5 crore remuneration. Isn’t it too much to ask for when you have very limited acting skills? If not for her super hot looks, she may not get even supporting characters.
It is heard in Bollywood circles that the talent management that Disha is associated with, is vexed with her headstrong attitude and they are planning to cut ties with her. Its high time Disha opened her eyes and save her sinking career.
Demonetization kills GDP Growth
India lost its tag of being the world’s fastest growing economy as the country’s GDP or Gross Domestic Product grew by only 6.1 per cent during Q4 (January-March period), as shown by the latest government data. China’s GDP grew 6.9 per cent during the same period.
Even after considering the impact of demonetization, economists had predicted India’s fourth quarter GDP growth at 7.1 per cent. But, the actual number fell short by a huge 1 per cent. GDP growth in the previous quarter (October-December period) was 7 per cent. Overall, the GDP growth rate for 2016-17 financial year came in at 7.1 per cent whereas the projected growth rate was 8 per cent.
The numbers will surely be embarrassing for the Narendra Modi government that recently completed three years at the Centre. Modi’s demonetization drive implemented in November last year in a bid to curb black money has shown more than anticipated impact on country’s economy.
Modi’s govt. however is confident that GST, India’s biggest tax reform since independence that will come into effect from July 1 this year, will contribute 2 per cent to the GDP and the results will be seen by FY18.
Allu Arjun Beats Salman Khan
Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s growing popularity is giving Bollywood stars a run for their money. After Prabhas conquered Bollywood with his Baahubali films, the latest Telugu star to send shivers down the spine of Hindi Superstars in Allu Arjun.
The Hindi dubbed version of Sarrainodu has surpassed Salman Khan’s Tubelight trailer views record on YouTube in just 24 hours. While Sarrainodu Hindi film clocked in 6.1 Million views on the video-sharing platform, the trailer of Tubelight managed to get the views in six days.
The Hindi dubbed film with the same name was premiered on May 28 on Sony Max and the film was uploaded on YouTube on the same day. In 3 days, the film has got over 15 Million views setting a new record on YouTube. Analysts stated that the views of Hindi Sarrainodu is thrice the number of views which Kapil Sharma’s show got in the same amount of time.
Now, the Hindi Sarrainodu is trending on YouTube at number 1 position in countries like Australia, UAE, Bahrain, Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Even after three days, the film is among the top 20 trending videos on Youtube which gives a hint at the massive rage that the film has become. In the past, the dubbed version of Allu Arjun’s “Son of Satyamurthy” got more than 30 million views, the highest for any dubbed film.
While Prabhas beaten Khans’ Box Office records, Allu Arjun shattered YouTube, digital records. Looks like, Telugu star heroes giving a stiff competition to Bollywood stars.

Chilling out at a resort in popular Koh Samui Island near Bangkok, Thailand, star heroine Samantha is busy sharing her excitement with her social media followers. And that is leading to huge upset as a set of misogynistic men started sharing their piece of gyaan for the hot starlet.
Other day when Samantha posted a picture consisting of a bikini top and bottom and today when she shared her own picture where she’s seen in a two-piece from the back, few fans started yelling their wisdom at her. Some advised the hot lady to behave maturely as she’s becoming daughter-in-law of a top Telugu family. Some stated that she should not share her bikini pictures as she’s soon becoming someone’s wife.
