What Baahubali has done, at massive production cost, is to reach all those spaces that were either left vacant or were just not visible to many superstars of Bollywood. Over the last couple of years or even more, many Bollywood stars had made their intentions quite clear, either co-producing own films or rolling out some low-budget flicks and then publicizing it with their star power.

Starting from Shahrukh, Salman, Aamir and Hrithik to actresses including Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma, many tried their hands in film production. But, SRK’s plans for his next production is definitely a big news for aficionados of cinema. The Raees star is mulling an idea of bringing the story of Mahabharata at a large scale – as grand as Baahubali or even bigger.

To make it a reality, the Superstar actor is on a scout for a Hollywood partner who’d take the project to next level and manage to push it beyond boundaries. Sharukh is clearly against the idea of collaborating with Indian producers and he’s his own reasons for it. So, why does SRK need a co-producer? – According to the actor, he alone cannot manage to fund for the project and wants to rely on an International funder.

Although SRK is currently busy with couple of other projects where he’s playing the lead, his idea of producing Mahabharata isn’t stopping him from meeting and asking some proficient people to join him on-board.

When this heroine was bonding close with the star hero at an unknown beach in Pattaya, Thailand, few snaps are clicked from the people in their gang. From the past few days, rumors have been making rounds in film circles that Samantha is playing a dumb or blind character in her new film opposite Ram Charan. These rumors have now proved to be baseless.

Sam is reportedly playing a village belle in this Sukumar directorial set against village backdrop. Her character will be perfectly alright and will not have any special abilities. On the other hand, Charan is rumored to be playing the role of a person having partial deafness.

The shooting of this untitled film is currently underway with both Samantha and Charan taking part. This is the first time the duo has teamed up for a movie. Makers are targeting Dasara release.

After taking off with a huge hype, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s first ever TV stint hasn’t garnered enough TRPs to make it a smashing hit on the small screen. “Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu” is suffering from lack of TRPs but the show is truly providing relief one particular section of participants.

Yes, for celebrities, MEK is now giving huge relief as it is literally making their dream of meeting Chiranjeevi come true. Also, some are able to showcase their talents in front of their matinee idol. Though inviting celebs is not new for this game show, as it happens to sit in front of Chiranjeevi, many are said to be waiting for their turn.

Initial reports had it that the audio release of Baahubali: The Conclusion in Tamil would be graced by Superstar Rajinikanth, Universal Star Kamal Haasan and Illayathalapathy Vijay. But in a major shocker to Rajamouli and team Baahubali, none of the big stars from Tamil made it to the Baahubali 2 audio launch. In fact, makers had to invite Dhanush who saved them in the last minute.

Besides the film’s cast and crew including Sathyaraj, Nasser, Ramyakrishna who have roots in Tamil Nadu, along with Rana, Prabhas, Tamanna, the event didn’t see any other stars from Tamil fraternity. Despite having presence of Tamil actors, not able to pull Tamil stars for the event is puzzling many in the industry.

At a time when Rajamouli and team Baahubali is on cloud nine in Telugu and allegedly looking down upon on local media, the situation seems to be totally different in Tamil & Hindi, say rumour mongers.

Compared to the blockbuster success of the first part in Hindi and Telugu, the Tamil version was a bit less and it didn’t make buzz on par with the Hindi, Telugu then. So, naturally, the team is keeping fingers crossed on how the part-2 would be received in Tamil and wanted to invite big stars of the industry to set the buzz.

With the plans too backfired, the makers are anxious that how the film would be received in Tamil. But thanks to the super positive buzz surrounding the second part, it is expected to open bigger than the part-1 in Tamil as well.

Incomes Tax department is continuing its raids on celebrity residences in Tamil Nadu. In a fresh, the IT officials conducted searches in the houses of veteran Telugu heroine Radhika who acted in a many films with Mega Star Chiranjeevi during early 90s. Radhika was one of the favorite heroine in Telugu film industry 20 years ago.

The officials also raided Radhika’s office Radaan in Chennai and receoved from documents. The raids are followed by the searches at Radhika’ s husband and film hero Sharat Kumar houses two days ago.

The IT raids had created sensation as the income tax department unearthed the cash for vote scam in the by election to RK Nagar Assembly constituency. Reports said that nearly 100 crore money was distributed to voters by the main political parties. However, the elections were cancelled.

Officials said that Radhika was questioned and took some statements with regard to the assets owned by her and also the money stashed in her bank accounts in the state

After a spectacular first half, it was hard to imagine something better than that but there came along a jaw dropping trailer and proved us wrong. Right from the VFX to the action sequences to the characters to the background score – each element was praise worthy. Unsurprisingly, the trailer clocked in 100M views in 4 languages – Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. And now in an interview with Sreedhar Pillai – Rajamouli has revealed the final cut time of the movie – 2 hours 50 minutes. Well, what do you think? Too long or not? The team recently held two grand audio launches – one in Hyderabad and the other in Chennai. The entire cast and crew were present for both events. Each of them were praising one another for all the effort put into the project. The movie has already raked in Rs 500 crore as part of its distribution and theatrical rights and merchandise. To gets fans on Baahubali mode, the makers re-released the first part on April 7 in Hindi across 1000 screens. The much-awaited Part 2 will release in 6500 screens worldwide. The movie stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia.
