Superstar Krishna’s family members are most of the time into acting business and that often happens in any other film families as well. But the shocking part is that his daughter Manjula never became a heroine, thanks to his humongous fan base. And she revealed some interesting things about that episode.

“Actually Dad didn’t approve my decision to become a heroine and only gave a half-hearted consent, which I understood later. As fans objected to my debut as a commercial heroine, I thought of taking up some content-based films at least. But at the end got bored and upset that I’ve to lay many conditions to directors, saying I’ll not do this scene, wear that dress, etc. Finally took a decision to give up my dreams of becoming a leading lady” said Manjula, speaking with a leading Telugu daily.

At the same time, Manjula stated that she felt always happy for respecting her dad and also fans’ decision because any mistake from a woman could bring bad reputation to the whole family. But in case if her 10-year-old daughter Janvi wants to become a heroine in the coming future, Manjula is all ‘yes’ for her.

It could be recollected that Manjula started a film alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna as a leading lady and then fans have disrupted the shooting of the same movie, forcing her to leave the sets.

There seems to be no end for the war-of-words between Kangana Ranaut & Karan Johar. After the success of Premam at box office, hero Naga Chaitanya moved to Kalyan krishna’s new film that has Rakul Preet and Lavanya Tripathi as heroines.

Reportedly Chaitanya is now looking to make his Tamil debut as well and for that he has chosen his mentor Gautham Menon’s production. Reportedly Pawan Kalyan has received over 2 Crore as advance from producers of Srimanthudu. Although the advance has been paid longtime ago, the movie hasn’t materialised. Going into details, producers were supposed to do a film in Attarintiki Daredi combination and had paid token amount to both Pawan Kalyan and director Trivikram Srinivas way back then. But that didn’t materialise then.

Instead, Pawan-Trivikram combination went to producer Radhakrishna with whom Trivikram share personal bond. Rumours in industry had it that both Trivikram and Pawan at one stage have returned their advances to the production house for not able to keeping their word. But this has been sorted after Trivikram agreed to do another film for the banner.

In compensation to Pawan’s film, Trivikram has agreed to do a film with Mahesh Babu on Mythri Movie Makers. This will be Mahesh Babu’s 26th and it has been locked. Even the producers paid advances to both the director and superstar.

Now, the confirmation is pending from Pawan Kalyan. As he is yet to give nod to the production house. The latest is that Pawan has finally confirmed to do a film for Mythri but when it’s going to take off is a moot question. Even the project is yet to get a director.

The muhurat of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 101st film was held this morning in a grand manner  in Hyderabad.

Crazy director Pur Jagannath has grabbed the opportunity to direct Balayya pushing behind the probable directors such as Krishna Vamsi, KS Ravikumar and others.

Rajamouli, Boyapati Srinu, Krish and other dignitaries attended the muhurat ceremony. While Rajamouli gave the clap, Boyapati directed the first shot. Interestingly, the film’s release date has been announced on the Muhurat day itself, September 29 it is. Going by the speed at which Puri wraps up his films, there is hardly any doubt on film meeting its deadline.

Buzz is that #NBK101 is the same subject that was supposed to made as Megastar’s 150th film, Auto Jaani. Speculation is also rife that it was the subject that Puri wanted to make with Mahesh as ‘Janaganamana’.

Irrespective of all this, Balayya fans are quite excited about this combo. The title and other cast details will be announced soon.

Raving about his performance, the director said, “Salman will be seen in a completely different way in the film (Tubelight). If people have thought that Salman’s performance is special in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, then his performance in Tubelight is five times better than it. The audience will see Salman’s better performance in Tubelight.”

Mahesh Babu’s elder sister Manjula once wanted to become an actress but she was stopped by Krishna fans and she had to settle doing a non-commercial film albeit getting national recognition.

Days after the photos leaked controversy in Tollywood, a new case of cyber crime has been reported by Madonna Sebastian, a Malayalam actress.

Hackers have apparently targeted the Facebook account of the Premam actress, Madonna. Quick to warn against it, the actress on Tuesday took to her social media account and requested her fans and friends to ignore all the posts till she confirms.

She also informed that even the tweets that have recently been posted on her behalf are not hers.

In the post she wrote, “Hello there.. looks like my page is hacked. So please ignore the posts till I confirm otherwise. Thank you. P.S. the twitter posts that appear on my behalf are also not mine.”

Earlier too, Madonna had faced a similar problem when she had to clarify that she hasn’t got an official Twitter account.

Her Facebook post then read, “There seems to be certain people somewhere, who are taking advantage of the fact that I do not have a Twitter account and posting false news in my name.. Let’s choose to ignore them… Also the accounts in my name, till I announce that I have created one new account on Twitter here on Facebook.. Have a great evening everyone! [sic].”

Talking about her big screen projects, she will be next seen in Kavan. Helmed by Vijay Sethupathi the flick will hit the silver screen on March 31.
