Sampath Kumar, who said to have bought the theatrical rights of Pawan Kalyan’s last film Sardaar Gabbar Singh, called for a press conference on Monday and leveled seriously allegations against producer Sharrath Marar and the film’s executive producer MSR alias Sreenivas.

Alleging that he lost nearly Rs 2 Crore on the film, Sampath said he was promised to compensate the loss with the actor’s next film Katamarayudu. According to Sampath, Sreenivas of Pawan’s office had told him that he’d be given Pawan’s next film Katamarayudu and asked him to meet him in February first week. However, Sampath said that he felt dejected when he’s been trying to approach them since January last week.

“I’ve been calling them but none of them are answering my calls. I left messages and no replies to the messages even. Neither producer Sharrath Marar nor executive producer Sreenivas are responding positively. 2 Crore loss is unbearable for an ordinary man like me. Any one in my position would commit suicide,” Sampath shared his woes. He added that Sreenivas had told him to contact Eros from whom he had bought the film.

“I was told to contact Eros after 1 year. Then why was I promised of Katamarayudu rights? Only because of Pawan sir, I bought the film. Even I signed the agreement without reading anything keeping only Pawan sir in my mind,” added Sampath.

“I had even tried to meet Pawan Kalyan sir at his party office and tried for his appointment. I was turned down and denied appointment stating that Pawan wouldn’t talk about films in his party office. We even approached through Film Chamber. When a few have spoken to Sreenivas about me, he threatened me of serious consequences. Sreenivas even called my friend in Mumbai and told him that I’d have to face the consequences,” he said.

Claiming fan of Pawan Kalyan, Sampath said that he wants justice from Pawan and alleged that Pawan’s aides are “using” him and making profits out of Pawan’s film. Sampath said that he bought the rights of SGS for Krishna district for Rs 4.5 Crore from Eros International and as the film garnered around 2.58 Crore share, it incurred nearly 1.8 Crore loss.

Some months ago, news popped out that actor Nandamuri Balakrishna would be working with maverick filmmaker Krishna Vamsi for his 101th film ‘Raithu’. Also, the actor-director duo approached Bollywood Big B Amitabh Bachchan to ask him for a crucial role in film. While that was good news for Balayya’s loyal fans, it also came with some bad news that the project has been called off for various undisclosed reasons.

Having scored many hits with faction backdrop stories in the past – Samarasimha Reddy, Narasimha Naidu, Chennakeshava Reddy and many, Balakrishna is yet again planning to hit screens with a similar genre.

Even for his 100th film, actor Balakrishna picked up director Krish’s script after sliding several filmmakers. In the similar fashion, he’s now moved on from KV to Kollywood director KS Ravi Kumar. According to Tamil film reports, Balakrishna reportedly gave nod to work under his direction and the script work is said to be in final stages.

With a view to repeat his vintage magic out to his fans, Balakrishna has chosen this genre and, we must say his fans would be more than happy for him. But considering the way previous rumors about ‘Raithu’ panned out, they wouldn’t want this film to go off.

The reports also suggest that Milky White beauty Tamannah Bhatia will be Balayya’s love interest in the film which is yet to be titled. Post Gautami Putra Satakarni, Balayya intended to cast Shriya Saran opposite him in Raithu. Since that film is not materializing and director KS Ravi Kumar is interested in casting Tamannah in this film, Shriya Saran needs to play a waiting game to achieve her next Telugu offer.

After a disappointing track record in the recent times, KS Ravi Kumar is looking forward to shift his gears with this straight Telugu film. Since it’s a faction story with strong emotions, the actor is known to have highly impressed with it. More details about the script are likely to be out soon.

Versatile actor Dr Mohan Babu is flying to Mumbai to undergo surgery. Mohan Babu has been suffering from shoulder pain for a while and advised to undergo surgery. After a lot of mulling, Mohan Babu has decided to bite the bullet.

His close friend and actor Chiranjeevi said to have guided Mohan Babu. Mohan Babu is going to undergo this surgery in famous Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai.

Doctor, who did similar surgery to Chiranjeevi earlier, is going to treat Mohan Babu as well. Total Manchu family is flying off to Mumbai. It’s said that Mohan Babu would be advised to take one week rest.

The news of abduction of Malayalam actress in a moving car and alleged molestation, harassment of her has triggered a panic. Cops too took the issue seriously and probing the matter. While three of the accused were already arrested, cops have launched for a manhunt for the main accused Suneel Kumar, the car driver.

However, in the interrogation of cops, the accused in police custody said to have made shocking revelations. As per reports, the accused claimed that Suneel Kumar had offered them a staggering 30 Lakh as ransom for the abduction and participating in the crime. Cops are stunned as how a prime accused Suneel, a car driver, able to offer such big sum.

It’s reported that cops are suspecting the hand of a hero, two sons of a noted politician behind the act. Apparently, Bhavana had serious differences with the hero for sometime. Revealing his uncle Pawan Kalyan’s advise to him on “Gelupu” or “Victory”, Sai quoted Pawan, “Kalyan garu had once told me one-thing about Gelupu. When I had shown him that I won an award, he brushed off by saying awards come and go but when hit by failure, one would get to know who real friends are. The people who stays with you even after you fail are the ones whom you won.”.

Sai Dharam Tej quickly added,”I won all of you (mega fans). You’ve been my strength.” It can be noted that Sai Dharam Tej share good rapport with Chinna Mamiaha Pawan Kalyan who said to have played pivotal role behind Tej’s acting debut. Pawan has been supportive of Tej. So, it’s no wonder if PK advises Sai.

“Rakul and me were good friends. But after started working for the film, we really get along well. We’ve become very close friends now. Rakul plays athlete in the film. She’s very hard working and talented actress. Rakul is the only one who fits best for athlete role,” said Sai Dharam Tej.

Thanking Anasuya who did a special song in the film, Tej shared, “Whenever our energy levels are dropped, she boosted us with her energy. Especially, she has inspired Chota garu and thus helped him a lot.” While Tej was talking about Anasuya, she was seen blushing constantly.

Director Teja has been critical about Telugu cinema. And he seldom praises a film or director or an actor. When he does, he does it honestly, genuinely. Now Teja is heaping praises on Rana’s latest offering Ghazi. While the film has been receiving accolades from various quarters already, Teja’s praises are certainly going to standout and expected to further boost the film.

In fact, Teja disliked Rana’s last film Baahubali. SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus had went onto be one of the biggest blockbusters in India and all-time highest ever collected film in Telugu. These didn’t deter Teja from criticising Baahubali openly. Expressing his “dislike” for Baahubali, in one of the interviews he openly said that none of them – whom he got in touch with – have said good things about Baahubali. This was very strong statement. But now Teja is lauding Ghazi.

“I rarely see Telugu movies. I avoid watching them as most of them are formulaic, stereotyped with same old chase scenes, fight scenes, love scenes and poor comedy tracks. Unless and until there’s very good talk, I won’t watch a Telugu film. Since I’m working with Rana for my next, when Rana had asked me to come for the premiere of Ghazi, I went dis-interestingly. But everything changed few minutes into the film. And I’m totally blown away with the film. I’m sure every audience going to enjoy the film. In my opinion, who doesn’t like this film is unfit to watch the films,” Teja shared.

After watching the film Teja has called TV9 saying that he’d interview Rana for the channel and director Krish joined them. Teja said that this is first time ever he is interviewing a celebrity and also quickly added that this would be the last time too.

R. Madhavan usually keeps it simple. He’s far from selfies, poses and doing hungama. But for a change, the star has struck a pose alongside his son. The pair married in 1999 before Madhavan entered mainstream films. It has been described as one of the successful celeb marriages in Kollywood. She also worked as costume designer for Madhavan.

After a lot of thinking, Anasuya has finally agreed to be part of a hot item song in Winner. Already the song “Suya Suya…Anasuya”, named after Anasuya is out and glimpses of Anasuya shaking her legs with Sai Dharam Tej have garnered good response making the song a chartbuster. Thanks to Anasuya’s popularity among TV audiences, the song created good buzz among masses as well.

Now little birdie tells us that Anasuya was promised an interesting sum of Rs 25 Lakh for the special song and she was paid an advance of Rs 10 Lakh.

As the film is now gearing up for release this week, it’s buzzed that Anasuya hasn’t received her total remuneration yet. She is reportedly waiting for the balance Rs 15 Lakh. Let’s see whether it would get sorted before the film’s release or not.

Chennai: Actors Jai and Anjali, who are said to be in a relationship, have featured together in a special poster of their upcoming Tamil horror-thriller “Balloon”.

In the film’s latest poster, unveiled on Saturday, Jai and Anjali strike an intimate pose together.

Directed by Sinish, this is the second time Jai and Anjali have teamed up.

They had previously worked together in the 2011 Tamil romantic drama “Engeyum Eppothum”.

The film also stars Janani Iyer, who will be seen in a retro avatar.

“She plays a character called Shenbagavalli, and her portions are set in 1989. Janani will be seen in a full-length retro avatar in this flashback portion. She will join the sets in the next schedule in Kodaikanal (in Tamil Nadu),” Sinish had told IANS.

The main villain in Allu Arjun’s blockbuster Race Gurram – Ravi Kishan had joined BJP in the presence of the party national President Amith Shah in New Delhi. The Bhojpuri actor has been Congress leader till recently.

Ravi Kishan had played important roles in Kick -2 and Supreme films. He is a noted TV actor in the country as he played different roles in TV serials. He was also one of the finalists in Big Boss programme in 2006.

In 2014, Ravi fought election on Congress but defeated. Since then he is staying away from active politics and concentrated only on his film career. He will be given a big post in the party’s national committee soon. Amith Shah held one to one meeting with the film actor for more than 30 minutes after his formal joining of the the saffron party.
