Popular Tamil director Hari, who’s well known for his racy screenplay and powerful action films, was in Hyderabad on the other day. He, along with hero Suriya Sivakumar, celebrated the roaring success of Singam-3 (Telugu version) in Telugu speaking states. The actor-director duo spoke with media and expressed their gratitude to Tollywood audiences. Speaking at the occasion, director Hari made an attempt to remove a big headache for himself.

The first episode of MEK4 with Chiranjeevi as the host was telecast on 13th February. Leading to this, there was a lot of buzz on social media over how the episode would turn out. Everyone especially family audiences/TV viewers eagerly waited to see the first ever TV show of megastar. Finally, after the first episode of the show was aired, the response was encouraging. Megastar looked at his best as the host. His swift and polite interaction with the guests on the show, irrespective of their age and gender, won everybody’s applause.

Now comes the big question. Can Megastar’s charisma help MEK4 set new TRP records and justify why he is called the ‘Boss’?

It is known that Nagarjuna Akkineni hosted the first 3 seasons of this show and he is credited for taking it to new heights in terms of TRP ratings. When Chiru replaced Nag for the fourth season, some fans of the show expressed their concern over Chiru’s tainted image in politics maligning the future of MEK. After the promos announcing Chiru as the host were released, many commented that Chiru was no match to Nag as the host of MEK. On the whole, a sizeable negativity and doubts are hovering over Chiru’s ability to pull TV audiences to MEK show and replicate the success of previous seasons.

We can’t take these doubts over megastar’s crowd-pulling capacity in a lighter manner as he truly had a terrible political stint. So, people would obviously think that he must have lost his charisma and does not enjoy the same stardom anymore.

Well, the same doubts were prevalent until the release of megastar’s comeback film ‘Khaidi No.150’ as well. Megastar however proved all his detractors and doubters wrong by scoring the non-Baahubali industry hit and erasing even some of the Baahubali records in the Telugu states. With such gigantic success, megastar has proved that he might have tasted failure in politics but he still is the king of tollywood box office.

Megastar justified the ‘Boss is Back’ tag by thrashing all the existing records with Khaidi No.150. Can he repeat the same magic on TV and prove that ‘Boss is Boss’ whether it is big screen or small screen? Given that Chiru is a bigger star than Nagarjuna, which the Akkineni hero has also confessed speaking at the success bash of Khaidi No.150, Chiru is expected to recreate the high TRP Ratings of past 3 seasons of MEK if not better them.

Sachin Tendulkar, who is also called ‘Cricket God’ and ‘Little Master’ by his fans, has shared a couple of pics on his social media page in which the legendary cricketer is seen holding a cute baby.

The baby is none other than fellow Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh and actress Geeta Basra’s daughter. Named Hinaya Heer, the baby was born on 28th July last year.

Top national media houses such as Hindustan Times, Mumbai Mirror, First Post, Indian Express, India Today among others are abuzz with the reports of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan having been roped in to play a crucial cameo in SS Rajamouli’s highly anticipated “Baahubali: The Conclusion”. The team of Baahubali however has not yet made any official announcement about this.

Reportedly, the makers of Baahubali were looking for a superstar from another language to essay the role of the peacemaker between Prabhas and Rana’s characters. Tamil star hero Suriya followed by Malayalam superstar Mohanlal were initially approached for the role but they reportedly turned it down.

A lot of rumors on addition of more stars to Baahubali 2 after the success of Baahubali continues to surface every now and then. Makers of Baahubali have earlier refuted all such reports. They however are silent over this report about SRK’s cameo.

If these reports published by national media turns true then no doubt the already popular Baahubali franchise will get new craze especially in North and overseas. SRK has earlier played various memorable cameos including the one in Karan Johar’s latest romantic drama ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, who is currently touring the US, will reportedly take up another people’s issue as soon as he returns.

After raising his voice against the govt. over issues like Land Acquisition in Amaravati, Compensation for farmers, Uddanam Kidney patients, Aqua food park etc. Pawan has reportedly decided to take the issues of affected villagers of Vamsadhara Project to the notice of state govt.

The foundation stone for Vamsadhara project was laid in 2005 when the Congress was ruling the united AP. The construction work however didn’t saw significant progress with issues like protests of displaced villagers, lack of sufficient funds etc. After coming to power, Chandrababu Naidu led TDP govt. decided to restart the work.

However, the state govt. and villagers are at loggerheads over the compensation. People accuse the state govt. of trying to cheat them with GO 416. Saying that the Relief & Rehabilitation funds are not reaching the deserved persons, the affected villagers have recently intensified their agitation.

As the state govt. and people couldn’t come to an amicable solution, the project work is also not progressing. Now, the issue has reached Pawan Kalyan. His team has already started assembling the information on the project and soon after Pawan returns, he will be apprised of the same.

The affected villagers hope that Pawan’s intervention will force the state govt. to pay the right compensation to them.

Interim, as the release date of Katamarayudu is fast approaching, fans as well as the team is hoping that Pawan will wrap up the shoot in time so that enough time was left for post production and promotions.

Without the support of these computer graphics, there is no Mahismathi kingdom, nor the breathtaking waterfall nor the brilliantly executed war sequence. More than Rajamouli or Prabhas, we have to say that VFX department and the effects themselves are big stars there.

Same is the case with Nagarjuna’s Om Namo Venkatesaya where the Tirumala ‘mada streets’ set erected at Ramoji Film City have breathed a lease of new life through visual effects. While the streets and temple gopurams are erected manually, all that pristine environment that made the film look visually stunning is a good work of computer graphics only. And those ‘vaikuntam’ scenes are just another hand work of VFX capabilities. These effects are what making ONV superior to Annamayya and Sriramadasu in terms of visual appeal.

Tamil director Sundar C has already announced his ambitious project titled ‘Sanghamitra’. To be made on Rs 400 Cr budget, this film has Tamil heroes Arya and Jayam Ravi on board.

Shruti Haasan has now been roped in because of her popularity in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi film industries. Her addition is expected to add huge value to the film having less popular names like Arya and Ravi.

When Sundar C, who generally makes medium budgeted commercial films, has revealed his plans of making Sanghamitra with Rs 400 Cr budget, no one had faith in him. But, he succeeded in pooling the funds and announced the project in a grand manner. Although the likes of Vijay and Suriya were considered initially, they turned down the film for reasons best known to them.

AR Rahman will score music for this mega budget film, which is costlier than even Shankar-Rajni’s ‘2.0’, which was allotted Rs 350 Cr budget. Sundar has been working on the script for two years. He is planing to take the project on to floors in April this year.

After spicing up with the pre-teaser of Arjun Reddy where Vijay Devarakonda has stated it as a bloody crazy film, the film’s teaser is out on the eve of Valentine’s Day. Living up to all its hype, the teaser does hint that the film is bloody crazy.

Devarakonda Vijay Sai is seen as Dr Arjun Reddy. A house surgeon with impeccable academic record, Arjun is zero in anger management. He goes berserk when ever he loses cool. The teaser also sees bold scenes such as scenes of locking lips and compromising position etc.

Apparently, the film is based on a true story, newcomer Sandeep Reddy has written and directed the film. Radhan’s background score elevates the visuals. The film is slated for Summer release.
