Now the latest update is that Reddy has thrown a lavish party on Thursday night at his star hotel celebrating the super success of Chiru’s Khaidi No.150 that said to have collected over 109 Cr.

Who’s who of Tollywood were present including Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Mohan Babu etc. However, Balakrishna is absent as he is out of town.

This led to speculations that why Reddy had thrown party when Balayya is not in the city and when he is in US tour.

Balayya had attended several functions of Chiru in the past (including recently held Chiru’s 60th b’day) and even danced with him. In fact, Balayya publicly stated that Chiru is his best friend in the industry.

Also Balayya has good bond with Subbarami Reddy. Had he thrown party when Balayya is available, definitely Balayya would had come and it would had been a huge event with top 4 pillars of film industry participating.

As Reddy thrown party to celebrate the success of Chiru’s 150, now another section in the industry is waiting to see whether Subbarami Reddy will also throw another party for the success of Balayyas’ 100.

Pawan Kalyan, who tweets about nothing but the issues of people, has surprised his followers just a while ago by posting some throwback pictures. Interestingly, the actor has also changed his Display Picture on Twitter and the new DP is quite shocking.

Pawan started off today with a typical tweet, ‘I have deep respect & reverence for our Culture, Animals and Mother Nature’ and followed it up with a few old pics of him from his farmhouse. Later, he embarked on the ‘Jallikattu’ and ‘Kodipandem’ issue which we have already reported.

Later, thanking his followers, Pawan tweeted, “I acknowledge each & everyone who have been following me. My heartfelt thanks to you all. With all my Love.” He also attached the new DP to this post, as if it was his gift to fans.

With heavily grown moustache and beard, Pawan looked like a ‘Spiritual leader’ in this pic. Knowing that he is currently sporting the ‘Katamarayudu’ look, which is revealed through a series of posters earlier, we can conclude that the new DP is an old pic.

One wonders what Pawan’s intention was behind choosing such odd and old pic as the new profile picture.

Putting speculations to rest, Pawan Kalyan has met his elder brother Chiranjeevi on Thursday. Pawan personally went to Chiru’s house and congratulated him for the stupendous success of his landmark film Khaidi No.150. Pawan also congratulated producers Ram Charan and Surekha.

Pawan and Chiru had dinner along with whole family.

As Khaidi claimed to have collected 108 Crore 48 Lakh, fans are already celebrating it. With Pawan meeting Chiru and congratulating, this has doubled the joy in the mega camp.

Ever since Pawan skipped Khaidi pre-release event, there was a disappointment among many mega fans. Pawan, who was busy with the shoot of Katamarayudu, couldn’t make it.

Apparently, Pawan has recently watched Chiru’s Khaidi and liked it. Pawan met Chiru and said it’s great comeback. All in all, PK has put full-stop to rumours of rift within family.

With each passing day, the support for Jallikattu followers is growing big. From film stars to politicians to sports persons, the movement against ban on the Tamil Nadu’s cultural sport is gaining all the strength.

The latest to join the legion is none other than world renowned musician and the Mozart of Madras AR Rahman. Rahman, who usually stays away from such controversies, have come forward and decided to stand in support of the culture. Rahman has announced that he would be fasting for a day in the spirit of Tamil Nadu.

“I’m fasting tomorrow to support the spirit of Tamilnadu!(sic),” Rahman shared on his Twitter page.

Actor Vishal has already sit on fast in Jantar Mantar in Delhi against the ban.

Top stars Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Vijay, Suriya have already voiced their support for Jallikattu cause and going to join the day-long peaceful protest against the ban on Friday. Nadigar Sangam is backing this silent protest by industry persons tomorrow.

Meanwhile, five-time world chess champion Viswanathan Anand too voiced his support for Jallikattu sport.

Now the film has released and is breaking records everywhere, however, Kajal is yet to get any fresh assignments following the victory. Maybe Kajal should be a bit patient.

The theatrical trailer of star Asian action hero Jackie Chan’s latest movie, Kung Fu Yoga has been released and it’s in typical Jackie’s trademark fun and adventurous style.

Kung Fu Yoga showcases Jackie Chan’s adventures in Tibet. The film’s story is about an archaeology professor at the Terracotta Warriors Museum in Xi’an, China.

The professor, played by the ever exuberant Jackie Chan, teams up with a young professor an assistant, both played by Amyra Dastur and Loafer girl Disha Patani respectively, to locate India’s lost Magadha treasure in Tibet. Watch out for done spectacular action stunts performed by Jackie Chan and Sonu Sood.

The movie also marks the international debut of Sonu Sood and Disha Patani. Stanley Tong is the film’s director. Kung Fu Yoga releases in cinemas on February 3rd.

Joining the scores of actors who supported Tamil Nadu’s ancient bull taming sport Jallikattu is the Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. Mahesh Babu is the first star hero from Tollywood to tweet in the support of Jallikattu whereas his peers in T-town have kept tight-lipped on the controversy.

In a series of tweets, Mahesh wrote, “#Jallikattu is the spirit of Tamil Nadu – bold and fearless. Proud to see such a statement of unity among Tamilians for something that they truly believe in. Especially admire the way the students of Tamil Nadu have been standing up for the cause, relentlessly fighting for their roots and culture. Hope their voices are heard. I support the spirit of Tamil Nadu. #JusticeforJallikattu.”

With none other than Mahesh vouching for Jallikattu, one has to wait and see whether T-town extends its support to the neighbouring people.

It can also be noted that Mahesh was born and brought up in Chennai. On several occasions he had recalled his bonding with Tamil Nadu. In fact, Mahesh could also able to speak in Tamil. Probably, his this connection to Chennai has made him react.

Megastar Chiranjeevi impressed in his comeback with his style of acting and dances prompting Mahesh Babu to tweet that the aura of Chiranjeevi was still intact. The all-time biggest star is now all set to make hungama on the small screen from this February.

At present, Chiranjeevi is shooting for the episodes of “Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu” (MEK) and they will be telecast from the first week of February on Maa TV. Although the promos of Chiranjeevi’s MEK were not impressive, the channel is betting high on this new season.

Although Chiranjeevi had shot for a few episodes in November itself, the channel didn’t air them as it was waiting for the result of “Khaidi No 150”.

With the movie declared a blockbuster and Chiru getting a thumbs-up from his fans, the channel is now going ahead with the original plan.

Balakrishna’s magnum opus Gautamiputra Satakarni might have released on Jan 12 worldwide and shattering BO records, but the film hasn’t seen the light of the day in Gulf.

Due to Chiru’s Khaidi No.150, GPSK hasn’t got theatres to release the film on 12th. The theatres that are available to Telugus are said to be occupied with Khaidi. As GPSK got great reviews now along with good word of the mouth, there has been a great pressure on Satakarni producers from the Telugu audiences in Gulf countries to release the movie there.

Since there was lack of theatres, producers couldn’t do much. But Dubai Telugu Association has timely intervened and see to it that proper screens would be allotted to Satakarni.

Thanks to the Telugu Association in Dubai, finally Satakarni got a handful of theatres and finally releasing tomorrow.

With this, the ROW (Res of World) numbers of GPSK are expected to move up. Already GPSK is doing wonders in US and other overseas areas.

When Pawan Kalyan’s career was at an all-time high, Chiranjeevi was having a bad run at the box-office and vice-versa.

Now, with the return of Chiru, for once, the name of Pawan Kalyan has taken a backstage and it is Chiru’s name only on the lips of all mega fans.

And highly enthused by the success of Khaidi No 150 is Allu Aravind who took care of the event in Guntur and made it a huge success.

Some say that Pawan did not turn up for the event because of Aravind’s presence there. But truth be told, Khaidi could not have attained the scale of its victory without a person such as Aravind behind it.

Although Ram Charan was the producer, it was Aravind who convened a press meet and shared the revenue reports of the movie with the public.

Even Ram Charan who was said to be disappointed with Pawan Kalyan not turning up for the pre-release event is impressed by the ability of Aravind.

Khaidi No 150 has brought  the mega family barring Pawan Kalyan, together. And ironically, the success of Khaidi may further alienate Pawan from the mega-family as Chiranjeevi fans have proved that they love Chiru for his sake and not because he is the brother of Pawan Kalyan.

In a rare development, all head constables in Adilabad district of Telangana were on Thursday given a day’s holiday to watch a Telugu movie.

District Superintendent of Police M. Sreenivas declared a holiday for head constables to enable them to watch the movie “Head Constable Venkatramaiah” with their family members.

The movie is based on the story of a head constable and the character is played by R. Narayana Murthy, described as a “people’s actor”.

The SP said while there were many movies based on the stories with top police officers as heroes, it was for the first time that a film has been made about the good work and honesty of a lower rank official as the central theme.

The policemen hailed the gesture of the SP. There are about 230 head constables in the district.

Cinema theatres in the district also announced that they will screen a free show of the movie Thursday night for head constables and their family members.

The film featuring Narayana Murthy and Jayasudha in the lead was released on January 14.

Ever since the trailer of Vishal Bharadwaj’s “Rangoon” has hit tinsel towns, everyone got stunned by the nude portrayal of seductress Kangana Ranaut in the film more than the period backdrop content and the efforts put in to carve out this movie.

Looking closer at the nude show of Kangana who is seen engrossed in a deep lip lock with Shahid Kapoor and covered with black mud all over her body, even glamour lovers got a shocker. But the recently released video song “Yeh Ishq Hai” features full length visuals of this sparkling chemistry between Kangana and her leading man, which prove something else.

Even from long shot, where a seminude Kangana could be seen, never her face is visible as her short hair elegantly covered it. And that creates a benefit of doubt, if a body double is used to film those long shots and makers have trickily filmed the whole sequence creating an impact as if Kangana herself lying nude there. We have to see what Kangana will say about them.

Set in World War II backdrop under British colonial rule in India, “Rangoon” is a triangular romance between Shahid Kapoor, Kangana Rananut and Saif Ali Khan. Find the film in theatres from February 24th.
