Having known about the scale of this film, even Baahubali director Rajamouli has expressed shock, wonder and appreciated the remarkable planning of Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi.

Now that the film is in cinemas and getting applauded by everyone, the director is being praised for bringing up an historic genre with so much of art work in such a short time – so, he’s literally made the impossible possible in Tollywood.

Apparently, this accomplishment by Krish also put an end to many questions and doubts about making a film of such degree in such short time with so high quality.

Mega Producer Allu Aravind is elated to see his sister Konidela Surekha’s maiden production Khaidi No. 150 with Mega Star Chiranjeevi ringing Day 1 record in Telugu Film Industry.

Sharing the joy with media, Aravind announced that the Ram Charan production venture garnered Rs 47 Crore 7 Lakh Gross worldwide including Tuesday premieres in US. When questioned about share figures, Aravind said it’s being worked out.

In what can be a first day record for Balayya, GPSK has grossed USD 367K from 117 locations.

Director Krish and Balakrishna’s historic epic Gautamiputra Satakarni opened to positive reviews all over. Krish, who worked on the film extensively without any break, is said to be relieved with the thunderous response to film.

Seeing the public euphoria, Krish got emotional as well excited. He shared this with very few media friends outside the theatre. Placing his hands on shoulders of media person, relaxed Krish said,” Hammayya, mass director Anipinchukunnanu!”

This was his first reaction of Krish after seeing GPSK at a theatre in Hyd. He said ‘At Last, I Proved as Mass Director’.

Krish had a tag of sensible filmmaker. Be it Vedam or Gamyam or Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum or even Kanche, Krish has been branded as class director. But for first time he collaborated with star like Balayya for a prestigious film. He was under immense pressure. But Krish did finest job as he elevated heroism quotient. Hyderabad: Telugu movie “Gautamiputra Sathakarni” was released in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Thursday with actor Balakrishna claiming that it has received unprecedented response from all sections of people. The popular actor termed this as the victory of Telugu people.

He, along with female lead of the movie Shriya, director Krish and other members of the unit watched the premiere show at Prasad Imax theatre here.

Balakrishna said the film was being appreciated in Telugu states as well as abroad.

He was all praise for Krish and the producer for completing the historical movie in just 79 days.

He was confident that “Gautamiputra Sathakarni” will go down in the film history as one of the landmark movies. He said he was feeling proud to do a role which his father and legendary actor N. T. Rama Rao wanted to play.

The actor said his lifetime wish was fulfilled with this movie.

“This success has increased my responsibilities,” he said.

Gautamiputra Sathakarni was a ruler of the Satavahana Empire in present day Deccan region.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who is the brother-in-law of Balakrishna, will watch the movie in Vijayawada later on Thursday.

The Telangana government has exempted the movie from entertainment tax. Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao had announced this last week when Balakrishna met him.

The epic movie was released a day after megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie “Khaidi No 150” hit the screens. This is Chiranjeevi’s comeback movie after nearly a decade.
