It’s all official. Pawan Kalyan’s much anticipated film being directed by Dolly has got a title. The film has been christened as Katamarayudu, after the popular song of Pawan’s blockbuster film Attarintiki Daaredi. The film’s first schedule was wrapped up and Pawan would soon join the second schedule.

Billed to be a love story of a faction leader, the film’s story has by Akula Siva. The script has been reworked and preference has been given to entertainment aspect. Producer Sharrath Marar and Pawan are this time more keen on the script after their last venture Sardaar Gabbar Singh turned out to be a disappointment.

Shruti Haasan has been cast opposite Pawan Kalyan in this action entertainer. If all goes as per plan, the film will hit the screens in the last week of April.

As NTR and Koratala Siva are waiting with bated breath to deliver hat-trick with Janatha Garage, heavy rains in Hyderabad of Nizam (in which NTR enjoys good fan base ) and few other parts of Telugu states, all their hopes and fans’ expectations seem to be on the tenterhooks.

On Wednesday (Aug 31, 2016), Hyderabad witnessed heavy rainfall and it claimed seven lives in two separate incidents. On other hand, the city roads are waterlogged. The city of pearls has come to a standstill and it observed traffic snarls in every nook and corner. As per reports, so far 7 cm of rainfall was recorded on Wednesday and incessant rain was observed throughout the Tuesday night and air, road traffic was disturbed. Even several MMTs trains were cancelled within the city. With weather forecast predicting monsoon showers for the next 48 hours, naturally this is expected to hit the openings of NTR’s much awaited release.

The film is prestigious for NTR and so for Mythri Movie Makers who earlier made a splashy debut with Srimanthudu. It needs to be seen how far the heavy rains in city would affect the film’s Box-Office openings. Even distributors who bought the film’s theatrical rights with whopping prices are worried with the sudden climate change as it may affect crowd visiting theatres. Let’s wait and see.

Sultry Siren Shruti Haasan was supposed to perform on an item number in Karnataka’s former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy’s son Nikhil Gowda’s maiden venture Jaguar being helmed by SS Rajamouli’s protege Mahadev.

Latest we heard is milky beauty Tamannah Bhatia is replacing Shruti Haasan to sizzle on the special number. Shruti is busy with other commitments, so has walked out of the project. The makers have now roped in Tamannah for the song. It may not be specially mentioned, the charming beauty will ooze glamour in the song.

Previously, Tamannah replaced Shruti to play lead actress in superstar Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu. It is also heard that, Tammu is charging bomb for the item number in Jaguar. In fact, she has become prime choice for item numbers in recent times.

Jaguar has music by SS Thaman and the film’s audio album will be launched grandly on September 18th in Novatel, Hyderabad. Pawan Kalyan is likely to attend the event. The Power Star was already approached for the same by Kumaraswamy.

Billed to be an out and out action entertainer, Jaguar is announced to be released on October 6th for Dasara.

Young hero Raj Tarun has signed three films with AK Entertainments Banner. Lady director Sanjana Reddy is helming one of these projects for which director Maruthi provided story, screenplay and dialogues.

As per sources, this film is put on hold temporarily as producer Anil Sunkara isn’t convinced with rushes, so has asked the director for several changes in script.

The film titled Raju Gadu with tagline of Yama Danger will be back on track, only after proper amendments will be made to the script.

Seems like, Raju Gadu may not resume in near future, since Maruthi is not in a position to sit again on this script. The ‘Babu Bangaram’ director is currently working on a script for his next film with Akkineni Akhil.

Sanjana, on the other hand, with lack of experience may not alone handle the subject. In fact, this is the reason for the producer to zero in Maruthi to pen script.
