Actress Shruti Haasan, also a popular playback singer, has reportedly been roped in to croon a special song for Tamannaah Bhatia in the upcoming Tamil comedy “Kathi Sandai”, which stars Vishal.

“Shruti has been approached and she has given her nod to sing. The recording will happen soon. It’ll be a special song on Tamannaah, and will be lavishly shot,” a source from the film’s unit told media.

Featuring music by Hip Hop Tamizha, it’s the film’s director Suraj, who felt Shruti’s voice will be apt for the song.

The film, which is gearing up for Diwali release, also features Vadivelu and Soori.

Young Tiger NTR’s Janatha Garage is releasing on September 1st as Vinayaka Chaviti Special. The makers have unleashed a never before seen promotional drive for the movie. NTR already started the promotions and Nithya Menon is also playing her part. But then, Samantha is creating a problem for the movie’s promotions.

The actress we all know skipped the audio launch event of the movie citing ill health but shocked everyone by attending a private event on the same day. Everyone thought there is a gap between Samantha and the team. But the actress made it up by making some positive tweets about the movie and NTR.

But things are not happy for the team. The actress is still staying away from the movie promotions. We are said that the actress is not in favour of going before media because she fears the questions about her alleged relationship and affair between her and Naga Chaitanya. The Overseas Premieres will be screened on August 31st from evening. The movie censor completed the other day. The necessary drives are already being shipped to their respective locations of USA on 27th morning so that every thing are in place 2 days before. Babu Bangaram, starring Victory Venkatesh and directed by Dasari Maruthi, has not been able to meet the expectations of the audiences, say film critics.

The film with a routine story has not been able perform well at the box office. The publicity unit of the film has been struggling to give the maximum publicity to this film.

Interestingly, the publicity for Babu Bangaram has got certain political comments. It is surprising and shocking that the film makers are issuing advertisements lauding  political leaders like chief ministers of AP and Telangana N Chandrababu Naidu and K Chandrasekhara Rao.

On the conclusion of Krishna Pushkaraalu, Babu Bangaram unit issued a newspaper advertisement congratulating both the “Chandras” for making excellent arrangements for Pushkarams.

One wonders in what way Babu Bangaram is related to successful conduct of Pushkarams by KCR and Naidu, at a time when they are facing criticism from all quarters over misuse of thousands of crores in the name of Pushkarams.

So, it has become a comic point of discussion in the industry as to why Babu Bangaram unit had to praise the two chief ministers. Does this cheap gimmick bring audiences to the theatres?

Janatha Garage’ has completed its censor formalities but the work on editing table is still going. Director Koratala Siva is now working with the movie’s editor to trim down the runtime.

The film has received positive feedback from Censor Board members but some of them complained over the lengthy runtime in the second half. Koratala Siva reportedly agreed with their view and is now working on it before the release.

Recently many big movies suffered slightly due to the complaint of lengthy runtime from the audiences. If the movies had shortened its length, they would have become bigger hits. Realising this now, Koratala is trimming the movie by 8 to 10 minutes in the second half. And rest of the movie will be untouched.

Since the film is crucial to both NTR and Koratala Siva, the director is leaving no stone unturned to make it a blockbuster. NTR needs this movie to cross more than Rs 60, 70 Crs, while Koratala needs to prove that he can deliver blockbusters with any hero.

Director Gopichand Mallineni who earlier directed Don Seenu, Body Guard and Pandaga Chesko is ready to team up with Mega Hero Sai Dharam Tej for a new project. The movie is labelled as Sports Drama genre. Even though the duo wanted to join several times, it didn’t materialize.

But now it is confirmed that the movie will go on floors soon. The pre-production work already started 3 months back and Rakul Preet was roped in as female lead. Popular producers Nallamalapu Bujji and Tagore Madhu will shepherd this project.
