Actress Pragya Jaiswal is on a roll after winning accolades for her looks and performance in Kanche. The leggy lasso is part of Nagarjuna’s prestigious venture Om Namo Venkatesaya being directed by K Raghavendra Rao. Pragya has also signed to portray an important role in Krishna Vamsi’s latest directorial Nakshatram.

The film that stars Sundeep Kishan and Regina Cassandra playing lead roles will have mega hero Sai Dharam Tej essaying a cameo as a tough cop and Pragya will be seen opposite him. Pragya will have two action sequences and one of them is with hero Sundeep Kishan.

Pragya Jaiswal reveals that she has trained in karate for over five years and has a black belt. All the training will come in handy now for the actress to perform stunts in Nakshatram. Pragya will soon begin shooting for the film, wherein Sai has already joined the team.

Pragya was seen in soft roles in previous films will show other side of her. Surely, she will be another surprising factor in the film which is fast progressing with its shoot.

Interim, Nakshatram is likely to release in October.

Bubbly actress Hansika Motwani seems to have all her love and affection for only one Tollywood actor and he is Manchu Vishnu.

After making her debut as a lead actress in Tollywood with ‘Desamuduru’, she soon shifted her focus towards Kollywood and became one of the leading actresses in Tamil Nadu. With her kitty full of Tamil films, she hardly showed interest to sign Telugu films in the past couple of years. With just a few Telugu films to her name, Hansika still can boast of three films with Manchu Vishnu.

After pairing with the elder Manchu scion in ‘Denikaina Ready’ and ‘Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda’, Hansika has now signed another film opposite him. Titled ‘Luckunnodu’, the film will be directed by Raja Kiran of Anjali’s Geethanjali and Swathi’s ‘Tripura’ fame. Said to be a thriller, the film’s regular shoot will commence from October.

Vishnu is a good friend of Hansika. During her recent birthday celebrations, he was the only Telugu celeb in attendance. She shares a close bond with him and that’s why she continues to sign his films while several other Telugu filmmakers are returning empty handed from her house.

Superstar Mahesh Babu has wowed one and all by making surprise visit at the 61st birthday celebrations of Megastar Chiranjeevi at a star hotel in the city. Mahesh, who has been staying away from the media glare ever since his last film Brahmotsavam turned out to be disaster, finally made his public outing on Monday ending his hide-and-seek game with media.

Mahesh’s absence at the prominent awards events, including where he won the Best Actor award, was conspicuous. The star didn’t make it to any public function or event post the film tanked without a trace.

Mahesh, who is presently shooting for an yet-to-be-titled film with director AR Murugadoss, looked his best. Clad in a dazzling silver shirt with dots and a blue jeans, Mahesh was cynosure of all eyes at the Mega birthday bash. This in turn also revealed Mahesh’s look in the Murugadoss film it seems.

Tamil Star Hero Chiyaan Vikram, who is known for his down to earth nature and professionalism, was labeled an arrogant actor by the US Tamil Sangam President. Here is an explanatory post on the actual happening.

Vikram was invited as the chief guest at the Independence Day Parade in New York by America Tamil Sangam. The pictures from the event conveyed that Vikram obliged to meet and pose with fans but the US Tamil Sangam President, Prakash M. Swamy, has now made a major revelation through his Facebook post saying that the actor was arrogant and a shame to Indian film industry.

‘We are disappointed with you Vikram. We did not invite you to New York to be disrespectful to Indians, keep talking on cell phone and texting without greeting your fans and friends while on the float. He exhibited arrogant behavior laced with attitude when even his co-star Abhishek Bachchan was down-to-earth friendly and shook hands with all his fans.

We actually wanted to invite Prabhu Deva but his schedule was clashing. Instead, Vikram put off his fans with his clumsy attitude of not greeting them. Compare this with the previous Tamil grand marshals of the India Day parade in the past – AR Rahman and Sarath Kumar and Radikaa Sarath Kumar, who were down to earth and never got tired of posing for photos or meeting fans and they were literally mobbed unlike some 30 or 40 people who came near Vikram.

People still remember Sarath Kumar in New York for his kindness and genuine affection towards people and he never faked. Is he (Vikram) bigger than Sarath Kumar in stature and seniority? And he used the title and insisted on projecting himself as a South Indian superstar. He does not deserve to be invited to any event abroad as he thinks of himself as Rajinikanth and Shah Rukh Khan in popularity. You are not invited in Air India first class ticket to do ‘sightseeing’ and indulgence at the cost of hard work to get sponsorship. Shame on you and you brought shame to our country, industry and especially Tamil Nadu with your arrogance, attitude and ego as a star,’ wrote Swamy.

Vikram has not yet responded to this accusation and harsh criticism. The actor’s fans on the other hand couldn’t believe he could have behaved in such a rude manner.
