Telangana IT minister KT Rama Rao has succeeded in convincing many investors in USA, hailed from Telangana state , to set up T – HUB outpost in Silicon valley in California soon.

During his three week long tour to USA, KTR met several venture capitalists and IT professionals and explained the initiatives taken up by his government in promoting huge investments in IT sector in Hyderabad. He also evinced interest to open an IT hub out post in the Silicon valley to attract more investors.

As his official tour to America is going on successfully, the officials and ministers said that KTR is competing with Microsoft and Google CEO Sunder Pichai in promoting IT sector in a big way in the world. His series of meetings with big IT persons gave ample indication that Telangana would make it own mark in Silicon valley soon.

Former minister and Kapu strongman Mudragada Padmanabham, who has been struggling to find an excuse to revive the agitation for Kapu reservations, has found it, when the police arrested five youth, who were accused in the violent incidents that took place during the Kapu garjana meeting held at Tuni in January this year.

Mudragada on Thursday launched indefinite fast, which is his old tactic, at his residence in Kirlampudi, demanding that the arrested youth be released immediately.He wondered why the government had arrested the youth in the name of participating in the violence, when it had gone soft with more violent groups like Naxalites and terrorists.

“Did you not release Naxalites from jail in the past following the kidnap of IAS officers? Did you not release the extremists to rescue an MLA? Did the government not release dreaded terrorists for the sake of the daughter of a Chief Minister in Jammu and Kashmir? What happened to the rules then? If you talk about rules, our jails would have been clogged with agitators,” he argued.Padmanabham, who is spearheading the stir for reservation in education and jobs in Andhra Pradesh to his community, had earlier accused Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of “ignoring” the assurances given to Kapus.

He also added the union government gave its nod for acquiring Sakshi media while the President of India had given his approval.

Sakshi is one among the few media in AP which focuses on government’s failures. It is also being said that MSOs of coastal district have already stopped telecasting Sakshi channel’s programs today, in connection with Mudragada’s deeksha. Telangana Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao seems to have adopted a new strategy to weaken the main opposition TDP and Congress further by dividing the districts in more numbers. Earlier, KCR proposed to create 13 or 14 new districts in addition to the existing 10 districts. After holding several talks with party leaders, KCR had reportedly come to an understanding that the two opposition parties are maintaining strong hold in some districts even after many senior leaders and MLAs from TDP and Congress joined TRS in the last two years.

KCR is of the view that the only weapon to root out the opposition parties permanently is to change the geography of every district. He was informed that Congress is still maintaining a strong hold in Nalgonda, Ranga Reddy, Mahabubnagar and Khammam. While TDP is strong in Karimnagar, Warangal and Medak districts.

Sources said KCR reportedly asked his party leaders and officials to divide the districts based on the strength of the party. Now, the Telangana CM wants to create 20 more new districts as against his earlier decision of 13 or 14. clear picture on creation of new districts would come out in a month time. KCR wanted the function of new districts from Dasara in October this year only.
