First Look: Aithe 2.0 Batch Goes Nude
Call it a carbon copy act or headline-grabbing trick, Telugu director Raj Madiraju’s Aithe 2.0 poster features four young lads baring it all a la Aamir’s nude look in PK. However, the only change is that while PK had Aamir holding the transistor to cover up his modesty, it is replaced by gadget icons here in Aithe 2.0. And it’s quadrupled as four young men are repeating Aamir’s act.
After films like Rushi & Andhra Pori, Raj is now attempting a techno thriller. He is calling the film as reboot version of Aithe and it’s a more louder version compared to Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s Aithe, a hit in 2003.
While developing the story of Aithe 2.0, Raj realised its uncanny resemblance to Aithe (four unemployed youth, how they entangled in a problem), he thought it’d be apt to call it Aithe 2.0 He then met Aithe producer Gunnam Gangaraju and took his permission to use its name.
The cast is new. And Raj has also planned to release the independent film in Hindi because of its ‘universal appeal’. Titled as Pirates in Hindi, the film was also shot in Hindi in the locations of Hyderabad.
