Legendary Actor Kamal Haasan and his daughter Shruti Haasan will be teaming up with each other for the first time in a new film to be directed by TK Rajeevi Kumar. The film will start rolling from 29th of this month in Chennai.

Sources say the untitled film will be a serious film based on the father and daughter relationship. This film will be mostly canned in the US and will have music by Ilayaraja. “Its my dream to act with my father. He is a great actor. It is a privilege to act with him.

Finally I got this chance and I feel lucky,” Shruti Haasan earlier commented about the chance to act along side her father for the first time. Shruti Haasan is currently one of the busiest heroines in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

More details about the film’s other cast and crew will be revealed soon. The film for sure will be a treat for Kamal Haasan fans and they will relish the film for a long long time.

Gunasekhar’s last film, Rudhramadevi collected 50 Crore share but is still a loss venture due to to ultra high costs involved. Back then, Gunasekhar used real Gold ornaments for the movie. Now Krish is also doing the same.

40 Kilograms of Gold will be used to make the ornaments that will be used for his upcoming film with Balakrishna. The other day, director Krish revealed that his next film with Balakrishna, Gautamiputra Sathakarani will be made with 50 Crores budget. This is the costliest budget in Balayya’s career and way beyond the actor’s market.

But Krish is very confident of the script in hand and he feels there is no risk involved. Nayantara is almost confirmed as the first heroine. Kajal Aggarwal may be playing the second heroine. The regular shooting of the film will begin in the first week of May.

Currently, the film is in its pre-production phase and Krish is giving the final touches to the script and finalizing the locations. We are said that the major schedule of the film will be canned in African country, Morocco.

Finally Trivikram magic is here. The makers of his next film, A..Aa with Nithin and Samantha will kick start their promotions with the release of the First Look Teaser of the film on 13th of this month. The audio release event of the movie is planned in the last week of this month and the movie is planned for May release.

On the other side, the movie shooting is also nearing completion. Anirudh Ravichander walked out of the project midway due to some issues and Mickey J.Meyer is brought in his place. Earlier Senior art director Rajeevan also opted out of the film and AS Prakash was brought in to do the job. Samantha and Anupama Parameshwaran are the heroines.

Nithin will be seen as Anand Vihari while Samantha will be Anasuya Ramalingam in the film. Trivikram’s close friends, Harika and Haasini creations is producing this youthful entertainer. They previously produced Trivikram’s Julayi and S/O Satyamurthy.

Young Tiger NTR’s Janatha Garage shooting is going on at brisk pace. NTR is currently on a little break and he will join the team again from 14th of this month. Samantha who is currently busy in Brahmotsavam will join the team from the same day.

The team will be canning few combination scenes of NTR and Samantha from that day. Non-stop schedules are planned for the film so that the entire shooting will be completed by mid July. The makers are considering Janatha Garage (with a tagline – Ikkada Anni Repairlu Cheyyabadunu) as the title of the film even though they did not announce it officially.

They are planning to release the movie on August 12th, 2016. The release date works in the movie’s favour as there is a long weekend holiday due to Independence day holiday on Monday. Mytri Film Makers who turned producers with Srimanthudu will be producing this film as well.

Yerineni Naveen, Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar (Thammudu) and CVM (Mohan) are the producers. Music Devil, Devi Sri Prasad will be composing music as Koratala’s previous films – Mirchi and Srimanthudu.

One of Allu Aravind’s statements at Sarrainodu pre release promotional event has caught the attention of film buffs.

The ace producer said that he will be extremely careful about his films.

“I don’t take anything for granted. I make sure that everything is right and in place for any movie that I make. Even if the product is satisfying I keep wondering if it will be liked by the audience or not. We have to have that fear to give the best output,” he said.

Although Allu Aravind was referring to his films, people are reading between the lines. They say that these comments are targeted at Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh that is being severely criticized for its lazy writing and execution.

Team Sardaar took audience for granted and delivered a substandard product as they thought that Pawan Kalyan brand would sell in spite of the shortcomings.

Sardaar Gabbar Singh makers have paid a heavy price for making such a lousy product as there is a huge drop in the collections all over.

If every producer is as careful as Allu Aravind and have that fear of being rejected, we won’t have to witness debacles like Sardaar Gabbar Singh.

Bangalore: Earlier this month, late actress Soundarya won a property dispute in the High Court 12 years after her death.

Now she is all set to take revenge on the people who cheated her.

The secretary of the housing society and his sister-in-law who cheated her of the residential site after her death, are now facing the heat from the Lokayukta police.

The Lokayukta police want PH Dayanand, the secretary of the Bhavani Housing Co-operative Society, and V Bhagyalakshmi, his sister-in-law, for custodial interrogation. They are accused of cancelling a site allotted to the late actress by raising a false dispute after hatching a conspiracy. The cancellation happened after Soundarya’s death in an air crash in April 2004.

The site in Banashankari III Stage was then allotted to Bhagyalakshmi.

While Soundarya was allotted the site in 1999, the cancellation was done in August 2012, a full eight years after the actress’s death.

Soundarya’s husband had sold the site to one Siddamma in 2005 itself. In 2012, after cancelling the site allotted to Soundarya, Dayanand transferred it to Bhagyalakshmi who then sold it to another party.

The Lokayukta police have charged Dayanand, Bhagyalakshmi and two others under the IPC and the Prevention of Corruption Act. It is alleged that they conspired to create fake charges to dispossess the dead Soundarya of the site.

The trial court as well as the High Court has denied bail to the two accused. The HC on April 6 said, “There is prima-facie case in regard to the conspiracy hatched relating to the cancellation of allotment made in favour of Soundarya, the original allotee and the sale of site by Dayanand in favour of Bhagyalakshmi and Dayanand in favour of S Nagarathna.“

The court also noted that the manner in which the offence are said to have been committed and the gravity of the offences alleged, there was no reason for Dayanand and Bhagyalakshmi to be allowed bail.
