Mega fans are gutted with back to back disasters Bruce Lee and Sardaar Gabbar Singh from Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan respectively. Chiranjeevi being a part of Bruce Lee makes it even bitter. These failures have come at the wrong time for mega heroes.

Fans couldn’t digest these disastrous results as they have come right after the opposition heroes have dominated the box office with Baahubali and Srimanthudu.

Mega heroes have dominated the Tollywood box office for three straight years with Gabbar Singh, Attarintiki Daredi and Race Gurram turning out to be the biggest hits during that period.

Baahubali has set new benchmarks for Tollywood and Srimanthudu too broke all other records except BB. Fans expected Sardaar to beat Srimanthudu records if not Baahubali records, but the film has turned out be an all time disaster.

At this juncture fans are looking up to Allu Arjun to put back smile on their faces. Can Allu Arjun deliver the goods as Sarrainodu? This looks like an out and out mass masala film that may appeal to the B and C crowds.

Fans would feel a bit relieved if Sarrainodu lives up to the expectations. Not just for mega fans, Sarrainodu should be a success even for the sake of Tollywood market that took a severe hit with Sardaar. A lot is riding on Bunny now.

For the first time, Pawan Kalyan is promoting his movie through extensive media interviews. In the last two days, all the news channels, news dailies have carried his lengthy talk on movies, politics, and his future plans.

Even Kajal Agarwal has done her bit of promoting the movie “Sardaar Gabbar Singh” but the movie’s director is seen nowhere in the promotions. He is deliberately avoiding the media interactions, said a source.

Also the production team does also not want him to be on the promotional campaign. So he is not seen anywhere now.

Director Sampath Nandi who was shown the exit door before taking Bobby in for this movie must be feeling happy with the pathetic situation that Bobby is in now.

Also Bobby had rubbed many cast and crew members on the wrong side during the filming of the movie and they must be feeling happy.

It was the ego issue of Bobby that made cinematographer Jayanan Vincent walk away from the movie after the completion of first schedule. Then Bobby and Shakalaka Shankar had some issues and Shakalaka Shankar insulted Bobby on the sets which resulted in Pawan Kalyan teaching a lesson to the comedian.

On the whole, Bobby has no sympathy from any side of the cast and crew and the producer.

In Bollywood, we have seen heroines continue to carry on with acting with a bang even after their marriage. They show no inhibitions even in doing lip-lock scenes and acting in bold shots.

Down South, married actresses are rarely visible on screen as heroines. There are hardly any married heroines who are continuing their acting in Telugu films.

Most of them bid adieu to films and glamour shows soon after marriage. A few of them might continue their profession, but get adjusted to the roles of sister or sister-in-law.

But, Amala Paul can be considered an exception. She has been racing ahead in the industry with a plenty of heroine offers. This Kerala Kutty has generated a lot of euphoria in Tamil and Telugu film industries.

Especially in Telugu, she got offers to act with top heroes. However, she could not settle down in Tollywood despite having plenty of offers on hand, but settled down in Tamil Nadu.

She got married to a person from the film industry and at a time when everybody that her chapter is closed, she declared that she would continue her acting career.

Directors of South Indian film industry, who normally do not care for married heroines, are somehow evincing a lot of interest in Amala.

She now has 10 films on hand in Tamil and Malayalam film industry. It is really a rarity that a heroine who does not agree for exposing is still able to charm the audiences even after marriage!

Music sensation Devi Sri Prasad had a dream start this year with ‘Nenu Sailaja’ becoming a super hit. His songs like ‘Crazy Feeling’ and ‘Sailaja Sailaja’ turned out as chartbusters. Even his second film ‘Nannaku Prematho’ became a hit and DSP’s work was pivotal in the film’s success. But his first roadblock this year came in the form of ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’.

Devi had a wonderful last year with hit albums like ‘Srimanthudu’, ‘Kumari 21F’ and many others. He started this year too on a grand note and this made everyone wait for ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ album. Also, all the previous outings from Pawan-DSP combo were super hits like ‘Jalsa’, ‘Gabbar Singh’ and ‘Attarintiki Daaredi’. But belying everyone’s expectations, the album of ‘Sardaar’ was pretty much average. None of the songs became instant chartbusters. As the film lacks proper stuff, even DSP’s background score was not able to lift it and the film failed miserably.

Currently, Devi is having two big projects on hand. While the first one is NTR’s ‘Janatha Garage’, the other one is Balakrishna’s prestigious 100th film. Hope, he bounces back with these films and gets back on track.

The audio album of Suriya and Vikram Kumar’s sci-fi thriller 24 has been released in Hyderabad tonight. AR Rahman scored the music for this film. Along with the songs, the film’s stupendous theatrical trailer was also unveiled and it has already got the social media agog.

If the film’s teaser, which was released a couple of weeks ago, got everyone intrigued with its time travel concept, the trailer raises the curiosity levels several notches higher.

The trailer starts off with the grand slow-mo shots of the film’s antagonist Athreya (Suriya’s first negative role in his career) who is on a mission to win back all that he has lost in his life (could it be the watch in the film’s context?).

Then comes the scientist Suriya, confidently telling his wife (the ever brilliant Nitya Menen), that his new experiment of building a time machine will not succeed 99%. But what if the machine works?

Enter the world of a young and romantic watch mechanic Suriya, trying to woo the gorgeous Samantha with his cheesy one liner, Imagino Romanso Philia. Samantha as usual looks gorgeous and the song shot on Suriya and Sam has exotic locales.

The trailer winds up with the evil Athreya, greedy to own all the innovation that happened in the world. In the end, will it be a battle between the young Suriya and the old Athreya?

Tirru’s breathtaking cinematography, AR Rahman’s haunting score, pulsating action episodes, meticulously designed sets and top class vfx, including Suriya’s stunning avatars altogether make 24’s trailer the next level of awesomeness. The film will release in May.
