Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan late on Friday shared the Best Actor award (male) with Ranveer Singh at the Screen Awards 2016 here. While Big B was honoured for his role in “Piku”, Ranveer was adjudged the best actor for his spectacular work in “Bajirao Mastani”. The award for the Best Actor in female category went to the flamboyant Deepika Padukone for her stunning performance in “Piku”.

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor was conferred with the Life Time Achievement award. Meanwhile, the award for the popular choice in male and female categories went to Shah Rukh khan, for “Dilwale”, and Deepika for “Bajirao Mastani” respectively.

Versatile actor Irrfan Khan bagged the Jury Choice Best Actor (Male) and Kalki Koechlin won the Jury Choice Best Actor (Female). The red carpet of the gala event witnessed the presence Amitabh Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Subhash Ghai, Shabana Azmi and Rishi Kapoor among others.

Puri Jagannath is as cool as cucumber while dealing with media and friends. One does not know the actual strong reason on why he sacked his entire team of nearly 25 staff members from the office and that too at single go. This decision taken on Thursday night has sent shock waves in cinema industry exactly at a time when Puri parted the ways with Charmi and then halted ‘Rogue’ shooting suddenly.

‘This is true. I sacked my entire team right from the office boy to many of those who traveled with me since with my establishment. They were struck with me from years and years. It was root of the problem. Many of them stopped listening to my instructions and were adamant. I warned them nearly two years ago for not functioning as a team. All these were directly showing effect on my work and I had no option than to get rid of all of them,’ Puri said.

With only one song shot for ‘Rogue,’ only after Puri gets his new team back at work, he will resume for the remaining shoot. Meanwhile, Puri agrees that he is sitting alone in the office for now.

AR Rehaman will score the music of the movie while SJ Suriya, who directed ‘Khushi’, will wield megaphone for ‘Khushi 2’ as well. For now, this is a sweet gossip to be heard. Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’s new schedule will be held in Hyderabad in a speciall erected set. Kajal Aggarwal shares the screen space with Pawan Kalyan in the film. The movie is being directed by KS Ravindra while it is being produced by Sharat Marar on North Star Entertainment.

It was earlier reported that Stylish Star Allu Arjun was injured his right hand during the shoot of an action sequence in ‘Sarainodu’s sets. The doctors advised the star to take rest for a few days to get recuperated.

However,Allu Arjun, who is known for his commitment towards the work endorsed to him, hasn’t abided by the doctors suggestions. He has taken pain killers and is attending the shoot of the movie leaving a shocker to the film’s unit. Recently, Srija enrolled herself in a week long Belly-Wood belly dancing workshop conducted by renowned belly dancer and lead choreographer at the successful reality talent show, India’s Got Talent, Meher Malik. Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 99th film, Dictator will hit the marquee on 14th of this month as Sankranthi Special. Fans have pinned high hopes on the film and here we present the Inside Talk of the film. There are rumours that the movie is a rip off from 2014 Hollywood film, Equalizer.

We have learnt that the movie is a revenge drama where in the lead of the film sets off on a revenge for the killing of a family member. According to sources, the first half of the film is okay but the second half is a total disappointment which may result in the failure of the movie.
