Seems we are in for a shocker here. Yesterday news came that Bollywood Diva Deepika Padukone will be doing a small but crucial role in ‘Baahubali – The Conclusion’. The news went like wild fire. Many leading portals published that news and everyone made it up.

There were speculations and rumours that Deepika will be seen as a Warrior princess. Most of the news mentioned that Rajamouli was impressed with Deepika’s performance in ‘Bajirao Mastani’. The story kept on elongated like a tail as various portals published their own.

Now Producers of ‘Baahubali’ revealed that the news was an April fool prank. The team also said that, Suriya is also not a part of the movie. However most of them are just gossips and rumours. But this time it was a well-planned prank for April Fool’s day.

The team is right now shooting some action sequences at Ramoji Film City. The whole team will move to Kerala for shooting a chasing scene inside Forest areas. Watch out this space for more updates.

Bollywood Filmmaker, Karan Johar is planning to remake Nagarjuna and Karthi’s recent blockbuster film, Oopiri. He reportedly purchased the remake rights of Oopiri from PVP Cinemas. We are told that he is planning to cast Akshay Kumar and Siddharth Malhotra in the lead roles.

There are good chances that Vamshi Paidipalli may get to direct the Hindi version as well. Two years back, popular film maker, Karan Johar bought the Hindi remake rights of French film, The Intouchables and wanted to have, Mohit Suri direct the film.

But the project did not happen then due to some reason. Karan is very impressed with the adapted version, Oopiri and bagged the film rights. In fact, a genre like this will work more in Bollywood. This is because the Multiplex audience are more in Bollywood than in Telugu or Tamil.

On the other side, Oopiri is super steady in A center theaters and Multiplexes across the globe. The movie is expected to have an extended run till Sardaar Gabbar Singh release next week.

In a shocking incident, Pratyusha Banerjee, the 24-year-old actress who played Anandi in Balika Vadhu, the Hindi version of the country’s most favorite TV series Chinnari Pelli Kuthuru, committed suicide by hanging herself at her house in Mumbai’s suburban residential area Goregaon.

Pratyusha was rushed to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Andheri but doctors declared her dead upon arrival. Police suspect ‘personal reasons’ as a motive behind her taking the extreme step and are investigating the matter.

Pratyusha had a fairly decent career as an actress and she was one of the highest paid actresses in the Hindi TV circuit. After starting her career with Balika Vadhu, Pratyusha also contested in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 and was one of the participants of Bigg Boss 7. She was last seen in Hum Hain Na as the main female lead.

In 2013, before entering Bigg Boss 7, Pratyusha was in news when filed an FIR against her boyfriend Makrand Malhotra. In January early this year, the actress filed a case of harassment by 8 fake policemen who tried to barge into her flat when she was alone.
