INSIDE STORY: Balayya shows his muscle in his Weakest area
Nandamuri Balakrishna is always known for his Mass Masala Entertainers. For this reason, the actor’s films are on a weaker side in Overseas where the audience are interested in more Class films. Even his blockbuster films did not do well at the Overseas box office for this reason. But this is not the case now.
His Prestigious 100th film, Yodhudu in the direction of Krish has got a superb offer of 2.75 Crore even before the official announcement of the film came. This is the highest price ever for Balayya in Overseas. The presence of Krish may have helped the movie get this offer. However the makers have not agreed for it and clarified that they will open business only in the second half of the year.
The film will based on a historical story, ‘Gowthamputhra Sathakarani’ and the official announcement of the project will arrive very soon. The movie is being planned for Sankranthi — 2017 release. Krish is currently busy giving final touches to the script. Our sources in Krish’s camp tells us that Sai Korrapati’s Vaarahi Chalana Chitra and Krish’s First Frame Entertainments will be jointly producing the film.
No Clue As To Why It Failed
Looking for a good hit since a long time, Sundeep Kishen asked Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainments to do a movie with him.
The result was ‘Run’, a remake of the Tamil hit ‘Neram’. Sundeep Kishen himself participated in the pre-release publicity and toured a lot of towns.
Despite decent openings on day one, ‘Run’ failed to take off and showed dismal collections right from day two. In fact the movie is the lowest ever grosser of all films made by AK Entertainments despite the movie getting mixed reviews.
Normally, one can find and analyze the reasons for a movie’s failure. But in the case of ‘Run’, neither Sundeep Kishen nor the makers are able to say where it went wrong. Guess it’s just destiny.
Bravo Shuts Mushfiqur’s Mockery With A Pic
Bangladesh cricketer Mushfiqur Rahim showed off his mean thinking which is at a distance of few light years from Sportsman spirit. Yesterday after India lost it for West Indies in semifinals of T20 Worldcup, the Bangladesh wicket keeper tweeted it as what happiness is to see India losing the match.
Many cricket fans trolled him for his unsportsmanlike acts and later he apologized for his harsh tweets though he is unwilling to do so. But he did it and claims to be a staunch supporter of West Indies cricket team, hence those tweets.
Amid this tweet war, West Indian al-rounder Dwayne Bravo caught attention from all corners with his tweet picture. The picture has Indian captain Dhoni and himself in a most informal pose saying “Win, lose or draw …always #macha #champion #respect”.
Though he did not bring Mushfiqur’s name, cricket fans are finding a perfect answer to latter’s mockery at cricket’s spirit.
Is This Some Kind Of A Joke?
Under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization (Amendment) Act, 2014, a total of 211 villages of Chintoor, Kunavaram, Bhadrachalam, Vara Ramachandra Puram, Burgampadu, Kukunoor and Velairpadu mandals were transferred to Andhra Pradesh.
Now the KCR government wants to get back five to six villages allotted to AP. Recently, he had broached the matter with AP CM Chandrababu Naidu who according to KCR responded positively.
No why does the TRS want those villages back? Because the loss of those villages means that the constituency of Bhadrachalam got smaller for MLA Sunnam Rajaiah.
Exchanging villages at will, is this some kind of a joke? Those villages are now part and parcel of AP and KCR should not be entertained in any fashion.
If the people of those villages still identify themselves as Telanganites, they are free to relocate to Telangana.
KCR Slams Jagan, Showers Praise on Babu?
It is known news that Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao gave a power-point presentation on Thursday in the Telangana Assembly regarding the proposed irrigation projects in the state. KCR used this occasion where he lauded his AP Counterpart Chandrababu for building the Pattiseema lift irrigation project.
KCR added that he has no idea why YS Jagan is opposing, but commended that Babu has done a really good job. KCR said that Chandrababu is a friend to him and recalled having lunch with him when he went to invite him in Guntur district for Ayutha Chandi Yagam.
He also stated that he gave few suggestions to Babu regarding Polavaram project stressing how Live & Let Live’ is the real policy of Telanganites and expressed hope that he will meet Babu soon to resolve all inter-state issues in an amicable manner.
TRS Supremo also appealed to AP Government to come forward for talks adding that it is the people who will suffer most if they continue fighting. At a time when many opposed Pattiseema, KCR praising Babu that he went boldly ahead and achieved success is music to TDP ears.
