Mumbai: Milap Zaveri’s directorial debut ‘Mastizaade’ is surely the much awaited sex comedy, which stars seductress Sunny Leone in a double role for the first time. Vir Das and Tusshar Kapoor will be seen opposite the twin Sunny.

Sunny has surely raised the bar of seduction on screen. Right from her debut, Sunny has exposed in her films and ‘Mastizaade’ is no less. Sunny plays the character of twins Laila Lele and Lily Lele and will set the screens on fire with her oomph and seduction yet again.

Mumbai: The year 2015 was undoubtedly Kangana Ranaut’s year! From ruling the box office with ‘TWMR’ to becoming the highest paid actress in Bollywood, and even broking a few long standing norms in the industry, Kangana saw it all this year. Here’s a look at her defining moments in 2015.

With total collection of more than 300 cr. Kangana’s ‘TWMR’ become the first and only female centric film till date to cross that mark. That’s not all, after Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bahijaan’, it’s Kanagana’s ‘TWMR’ which occupies the second highest collection spot of 2015. Her double role in the film was regarded as the best double role in the history of Bollywood, by the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khana, Ranbir Kapoor etc.

After giving what can easily be called the ‘performance of the year’ with ‘TWMR’, Kangana became the highest paid actress commanding a staggering fee of Rs.11 crore for one of her upcoming projects. Kangana was also invited to speak at the most prestigious ‘Women in the World summit’. This was the first time when an Indian actress was invited to speak at this platform.

Kangna went for the Paris fashion week to attend the Dior show. While quite a few actresses have visited the show in the past few years, Kangana was the first Indian actress to be invited for the front row and was dressed exclusively by the Dior couture. Post the super successful run of ‘TWMR’ at the box office, Kangana went on to signing 6 big brands in just 6 months, a feet no other actress at any given point has been able to achieve in such a short timeframe.

She also topped the pole on the biggest international fashion website Red carpets Events.com, when she attended the premiere of ‘Queen’ in the fashion capital of the world – Paris. Bringing several years long speculations to an end, successful producer Dil Raju announced around a month ago that he will produce the onscreen debut film of music director Devi Sri Prasad. Dil Raju went on to say that Sukumar will direct this flick and that Rathnavelu will do the cinematography.

However, Dil Raju has not revealed any more news about the project. The latest we hear now is that the producer is planning to make the film as a bilingual project in Telugu and Tamil, keeping DSP’s craze and fan following in both the languages.

Now, a leading media house reported that Devi Sri Prasad is still undecided about whether to compose music for his acting debut project. The film will be launched very soon and we can expect more details in the coming few days.

Voluptuous Punjabi beauty Raashi Khanna stormed the Tollywood scene with her cute looks and mature performance with the highly successful romantic comedy Oohalu Gusagusalaade. However, success played a hide and seek game with Raashi as she failed to score a decent hit since then.

All the films in which Raashi enthralled her fans with her sizzling glamour shows such as Joru, Jil, Shivam and the recent Bengal Tiger failed big time at the box-office and disappointed the young beauty.

Now, in her recent interview, Raashi said she never shies away from outrightly rejecting films that have no substance in their stories. Raashi said that script is the most important factor before she signs a film and that she takes all the care in preparing for her role for all her films.

Ironically, all of Raashi’s flopped films were mainly panned by the critics for lack of a strong story. This got many wondering is Raashi needs a serious introspection about her story selection.

The young actress is currently acting in Sai Dharam Tej’s Supreme, in which she will be seen in a cop’s role. Hope she finds success in this de-glam avatar this time.

Mickey J Meyer, music director of Mahesh Babu starrer Brahmotsavam, dismissed the allegations that the background score of the teaser of Bhramotsavam was ripped off. As the teaser was rolled out, many allegations pounced on Meyer over background score. Meyer, who always prefers to stay away from controversies, broke his silence and explained himself.

“To my well wishers and music lovers – the teaser of my upcoming movie released today., and I was pleasantly surprised to find a song with a similar guitar riff – (a guitar chord progression that goes with the same chords that I used in my song) and some people started writing that the song is copied, well., it obviously isn’t and it is a original composition.,,( the tune/melody/ orchestration ) a guitar chord can be same for many songs.,, no one has a copyright on a chord structure.,

The Abhishek Kapoor-directed film, which is the Hindi adaptation of the classic novel ‘Great Expectations’ grabbed headlines for its impressive cast consisting of Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapur and Tabu in the leads. The film also has Akshay Oberoi and Aditi Rao Hydari in the pivotal roles.

It will be interesting to see Tabu essaying the role of Miss Havisham, after her breathtaking performance in ‘Haider’. ‘Fitoor’ is slated to release on February 12th 2016.

Occupancy rate was found to be 80 percent and above all over in both the Telugu speaking states. In parallel, overseas trade information says ‘Nenu Shailaja’ raked in $123 K including premieres which equals almost Rs. 80+ Lakhs, highest for Ram in his career.

With Christmas vacation still going on and holidays are yet to come to a closure in the USA, the first preference movie for Telugu NRIs is going to be ‘Nenu Shailaja.’ Well, coming two weeks is almost a vacuum in Tollywood. Shah Rukh Khan Celebrated the new year with his wife Gauri and children Aryan, Suhana and Abram in Dubai. The Actor recently featured in Rohitshetty’s Dilwale, co-starring Kajol, Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan. Dilwalw reunites Shahrukh and Kajol after 2010’s My Name Is Khan.

It seems like Shah Rukh Khan is having a fantastic New Year holiday as the actor is currently in Dubai, where he is celebrating with his wife Gauri and children Aryan, Suhana and Abram. Pawan Kalyan is planning to release Sardar Gabbar Singh in April. Shooting for the film’s next schedule will start in Hyderabad from January 4. “It’s a long schedule in Hyderabad…nearly a month. With this the film will be almost complete and the actor wants to release it in April,” says a source from the unit.

Kajal Agarwal is playing the female lead while K.S. Ravindra (Bobby) is directing the film. Meanwhile the race is on among distributors to bag the rights for the film. After Sardar Gabbar Singh, Pawan Kalyan is reportedly going to work on a film produced by Dasari Narayana Rao.

After a dry spell of two years, Sudheer Babu got a good break with his recent film Bhale Manchi Roju. Directed by debutant T. Sriram Adittya, the film is doing well at the box-office.

His last successful film was Prema Katha Chitram, a horror comedy that released in 2013. Bhale Manchi Roju is a crime comedy with lots of twists and turns. It was also promoted by two superstars — Mahesh Babu, who is Sudheer’s brother-in-law and Prabhas, who is a close friend of the producer.

Actor Naga Shaurya is confident about his upcoming film Abbayitho Ammayi directed by Ramesh Varma. The actor’s earlier film, the mass entertainer Jadoogadu, did not do very well but he hasn’t let that affect him. “It was a positive project for me as an actor, but commercially it didn’t do well. So I am back to doing love stories for now,” says Naga Shaurya. The actor has been appreciated as a good performer for his performances in Oohalu Gusa Gusa Lade, Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya and Lakshmi Rave Maa Intiki. But he says, “Currently I have decided to stick to love stories, which I feel suit me better.” And that’s why his upcoming films are all love stories. Abbayitho Ammayi is hitting the screens on January 1 followed by three other films within a few months.

“Ramesh Varma had narrated the story to me a while ago. Actually, I was supposed to debut with this project, but it worked out only now,” says the actor. Talking more about Abbayitho Ammayi, he says, “The subject is connected to the present generation and it revolves around how people fall in love on Facebook. It’s not completely an urban love story, but it connects with everyone,” he says. Despite being a few films old, the actor says that he is still learning. “Four of my films are releasing next year and then, maybe, I can say that I have taken a step forward,” he says.

After Abbayitho Ammayi, his next release will be Kalyana Vaibhogame directed by Nandini Reddy. “This film is about love after marriage. It’s a different concept and also showcases family bonds,” he says. The other film he has signed is Okka Manasu. “This is a matured love story directed by Rama Raju. I will remember this film forever as I really like the subject. I am eagerly waiting to complete the shoot of this film,” he says while adding that his fourth film Jo Atchuthananda is a family entertainer.

The actor adds that he however doesn’t want to be stamped as a chocolate boy. “I want to experiment and I don’t want to stick to a particular image. I hate to be called a ‘chocolate boy’. I want to do films like Aamir Khan, where you expect something from each film,” he says. Ilaiyaraaja has provided the music for Abbayitho Ammayi. “I am lucky that he has scored music for my film. This is his 999th film and I am very happy to be associated with him,” he says.

Mumbai: After launching the trailer of India’s first porn-com flick, ‘Kyaa Kool Hai Hum 3’ and raunchy signature song, ‘Jawaani Le Doobi’, the makers have released the second song, ‘Oh boy’. The song features sizzling Mandana plunging in the deep blue sea donning a bikini.

The film is slated to release on January 22 also features former Bigg Boss contestants Andy and Claudia Ciesla. Interestingly, the film also has Gisele Thakral , who just got evicted from the ongoing season of Bigg Boss.
