Robo 2.0 as Chitti 2.0 in Telugu!
The first schedule of Superstar Rajinikanth and Sensational director Shankar’s sequel, 2.0 which began on December 16th concluded recently. The second schedule of 2.0 will begin from 11th January.
We are said that the makers have fixed ‘Chitti 2.0’ as the title of the film and they have also registered the title with the film chamber. Bollywood Star Hero Akshay Kumar was roped in to play an important role.
The movie is being shot in 3D made with top technicians from all over the globe Oscar Award Music Director AR Rahman will be composing music for the film. Rest of the crew include crew cinematographer Nirav Shah, Art Director Muthuraj, VFX Supervisor Srinvas Mohan, Editor Antony and Rasool Pookutty handling the Sound Designing.
Ok Bangaram Hindi Remake With Shaad Ali
Dulquer Salman, Nithya Menon super hit romantic film ‘Oh Kadhal Kanmani’ dubbed into Telugu as ‘Ok Bangaram’ from Mani Ratnam and AR Rahman combination is now going Bollywood. As per official words from most versatile personality Karan Johar, his own production banner Dharma Movies is soon starting up the remake.
‘Mani Ratnam, Gulzar Saab, AR Rahman, Shaad and we are presenting Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the official recreation of ‘Oh Kadhal Kanmani.’ I am honored to collaborate with Mani Ratnam on the recreation of his labor of love to be directed by Shaad Ali,’ Karan Johar said.
‘Ok Bangaram’ stood as one of the memorable hits in 2015. In the past Shaad Ali has directed Mani’s ‘Sakhi’ in Hindi as ‘Saathiya’ which became a blockbuster and this is second time Shaad Ali accepted to direct one more Mani’s film remake. ‘Aashiqui 2’ pairing Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are sure to make a sweet pair.
A sequel to a successful small film?
Young Hero Raj Tharun and TV Star turned film actress, Avika Gor’s Cinema Chupistha Maava is one of the biggest hits when it released last year. Every one involved in the film trade got good profits with the film.
The Producers of the film, Lucky Media are planning the sequel project of the movie. Currently the script of this second part is being prepared. Lucky Media had registered the title ‘Cinema Chupistha Maava-2’ with the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce.
According to sources, Raj Tharun is likely to star in this sequel project as well. There is no clarity regarding the cast and crew of the movie at this point. Stay tuned to more details of this sequel project!
Killing Veerappan has a new release date!
Ram Gopal Varma’s Killing Veerappan was to release in Telugu and Kannada the other day. However the Telugu release was postponed in the last minute due to some censor issue. However it is now said that they managed to sort out the issue.
They have also announced a new release date. The movie will now release on January 7th. Sandeep Bhardwaj plays Veerappan in the movie and he is so believable in the role.
Ram Gopal Varma had roped in Sai Karthik to score music for the film but there are no songs in the film. Killing Veerappan is all about the secret missin carried out to eliminate the dread smuggler.
Pawan’s One Year Record on Twitter
Power Star Kalyan joined twitter bandwagon on January 1, 2015 and completed one year on 1st of January, 2016. He has got 7.45 lakh followers in one year and which is a rare feat. Moreover, Pawan Kalyan’s tweets are mostly confined to politics and never ever has he used the social media to promote his films unlike other top stars of Tollywood. ‘1year of pspk’ hash tag is currently trending.
Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ is being canned at a rapid pace of its shoot now. The movie’s shoot will be wrapped up by the month end of February. Kajal Aggarwal is romancing Pawan Kalyan in this film.
KS Ravindra (Bobby) is directing this action and comedy entertainer. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music of the movie. The movie is being produced by North Star Entertainment. May 11 is the tentative date of release of the movie.
BCCI congratulates R Ashwin for 2015 achievements
New Delhi: Congratulating Indian cricket team and premier off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin for their achievements in 2015, BCCI President Shashank Manohar on Thursday said the performing players have given “immense joy” to the nation this season.
Ashwin, who was instrumental in India clinching the Test series in Sri Lanka and then against South Africa, finished the year as the No.1 Test bowler and the top all-rounder in the longest format to cap a highly successful year. Meanwhile, the Indian team finished the year on the No.2 position in Tests and ODIs.
Congratulating Team India and their performers, Manohar said, “It gives me immense joy to see the tremendous growth and progress the Indian team made over the course of 2015. The twin series victories, over Sri Lanka and South Africa, saw Ashwin’s rise as a match-winner, and were the perfect way to end what was an eventful cricketing year for the team. I congratulate Ashwin on his achievements.”
Acknowledging the achievements of Ashwin, Board secretary Anurag Thakur said, “It is a testimony to Ashwin’s incredible skills and form that he has become the first Indian bowler to lead the ICC’s Test Rankings since 1973. Selfie queen to quit Instagram
One of the most followed personality on Instagram, Kylie Jenner, revealed that she plans to quit social media… when she has a baby!
With over 46 million followers, the 18-year-old admitted that she just wants to “live life” when she has a baby and not be on a social media platform.
“I would love to have a family and build a home with a farm in Malibu Canyon and just have my kids and throw away my phone, and just really, like, live my life and not do this anymore,” told Kylie to Elle magazine.
Her declaration comes shortly after Kylie was asked to put fewer posts on social media after news emerged that her fans were misusing her images.
Shah Rukh Khan’s son AbRam suits up for New Year’s Eve
Mumbai: The whole world is high on New Year spirit and Bollywood’s King Khan, SRK is one of them. Shah Rukh Khan, along with his family flew to Dubai to ring in the new year at his villa K-93 at Palm Jumeirah.
For the grand celebration, not only did Shah Rukh Khan suit up but his little cute adorable bundle of joy, AbRam did, too.King Khan was also joined by KRK, Poonam Dhillon and Jacqueline Fernandez. Kamal R Khan celebrated his birthday with SRK at his house in Dubai.
The actor also took to his official Twitter account to share a picture with his fans.
Telangana: BRS/LRS deadline extended
Hyderabad: The TS government on Thursday extended the deadline for submitting applications for Building Regularisation Scheme/ Layout Regularisation Scheme (BRS/LRS) by one more month, till January 31.
The original deadline ended on December 31, but there has been poor response to the scheme so far. The government received just 65,079 applications for LRS and 62,759 applications for BRS across the state in the three months since the schemes were announced in October.
The applicants were asked to pay Rs 10,000 fee to apply for LRS/ BRS. The government earned Rs 48.79 crore from LRS applications and Rs 37.89 crore from BRS applications.
Officials expect to earn Rs 1,000 crore towards penal charges, if all the applications are approved. MAUD principal secretary M.G. Gopal said orders extending the deadline till January 31 were issued on Thursday.
Honeymoon Over For Star Writers?

On the other hand, even Gopimohan is set to make his directorial debut with a youthful flick titled, “Ishtam ga.. Santosham ga..Aanandam ga” The regular shooting of this film will begin in February and most of the shooting will take place in America.
Gopimohan too will get busy with his project until the second half of this year. With this, Film Nagar circles have been abuzz with the rumours that the Gopi-Kona honeymoon will go through a temporary break, if not permanent.
Jobs for all is Chandrasekhar Rao’s gift to Telangana for 2016
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao announced a New Year’s gift on Thursday, ordering the recruitment of up to 20,000 teachers, regularisation of services of 25,000 contract staff and increasing the salaries of 50,000 outsourcing staff.
He also asked the police to issue the notification to fill 9,000 vacancies in the police and fire departments soon. Mr Rao directed officials to finalise the modalities and put them up for ratification at a Cabinet meeting that he has scheduled on January 2. The CM also announced a sop for small property holders in Hyderabad ahead of GHMC polls.Earlier, Mr Rao held a high-level meeting in Secretariat on Thursday with top ministers and officials to finalise the sops.
The Chief Minister also handed over to officials, thousands of applications and representations which he had received from people while touring the districts during the Telangana statehood agitation from 2001 to 2014 and as CM from June 2014 till date. They were categorised department-wise. He asked officials to computerise all the applications and try to resolve the issues and submit action-taken reports to the CMO every week. Mr Rao reminded them about his promise to regularise contract staff during the Telangana statehood agitation days and before the 2014 general elections and said the time had come to fulfil the promise.
“Our policy is not to have contract staff in Telangana state. Everyone should be full-time regular government employees. Once the existing contract staff are regularised, there should be no contract staff system in the state in future,” he said. Mr Rao had recently announced waiving Rs 423 crore power, water tariff arrears for the poor in the GHMC limits, which is expected to benefit 9 lakh people.
Renu, Surya and a lunch on New Year
Renu Desai knows how to stay in the news. Renu, the former wife of Power Star Pawan Kalyan, created a flutter by posting a pic with Khushi director SJ Surya. She tweeted “New Year Lunch with Surya Sir.” The pic shows Surya and Renu enjoying the lunch.
She further said that her son Akhira took the pic, while her daughter Adya was hiding behind her. She wished everyone a happy new year.
Surya directed Pawan’s biggest hit Khushi, but later lost the Midas’touch. He made Komuram Puli with Pawan again. But, the film was a dud and Surya almost disappeared from Telugu field.It is learnt that Pawan wants to give another chance to Surya. Will it be a sequel to romantic love story Khushi?
How Naidu Is Wasting Public Money: An Example
What is the cost of construction of a building, even if it is the most luxurious one? In an advanced city like Hyderabad, it does not exceed Rs 4,000 per sq ft, including interior and sanitary work. Even this is calculated taking into consideration the location of the building and transportation costs. However, the Chandrababu Naidu government in Andhra Pradesh is planning to construct the Secretariat building at Mangalagiri as part of the new capital of Amaravati, at a very high cost.
The total built-up space for the building is six lakh square feet and the total cost has been estimated at Rs 300 crore. A government order to this effect was released on December 29. Of the total cost of the building, the government has released Rs 150 crore and the remaining, it is borrowing from HUDCO at an interest rate of 10.65 per cent, which will be repaid over a period 15-20 years. One can imagine the interest burden on the government. Now, the question is whether the cost of construction at Mangalagiri is so high as Rs 5,000 per sft, since the government is spending Rs 300 crore for six lakh sft building.
Experts say it would not cost even Rs 3,000 per sft, since the cost of construction material at Mangalagiri is cheaper when compared to Hyderabad. So, definitely, there must be a lot of scope for swindling big money by the contractors. Secondly, the project cost is said to be only for civil construction. It will shoot up, if one takes into consideration the elevation and interior costs, leave alone furniture, ACs, lighting etc. The building is supposed to be completed within six months, i.e. by June, but going by the pace of works, it is going to get delayed and there will be cost-overrun. This is the hi-tech rule of Chandrababu Naidu!
