It has been gossiped for the past two days that Hollywood star Jet Li would be roped in as the main villain for Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Kabali’. As most of the film is about to be shoot in Malaysia, it was rumoured a Hollywood star reprise main villain’s role.

However, the makers of ‘Kabali’ lashed out all the aired news on ‘Kabali’s villain. ” We have initially thought to rope in a Hollywood star for the villain role in the movie. But we have dropped the idea latter,” says production team.

Radhika Apte is doing opposite to Rajinikanth in the movie. The movie is being directed by Ranjit. Kalaipuli Thanu is producing the movie. The movie’s release date has been locked to April 4.

If reports from Tamil sources are to be believed upon, ‘Enemy’ is the title locked by production unit for this highly powerful project revolving around the story of Indian Judiciary, Law Making System and the role of Government in implementation.

Although Balakrishna ‘Dictator’ and Jr NTR ‘Nannaku Prematho’ are heading for a Box Office battle in coming Pongal season, Balayya Fans aren’t really worried knowing a fact that ‘Nannaku Prematho’ is taking the lead in promotions with lot of attention grabbing features. Right from trailer cuts and strength in story, ‘Dictator’ is considered as an outdated formulaic film with zero refreshing elements.

Whatever the drawbacks ‘Dictator’ promos served have become the indirect advantages for ‘Nannaku Prematho’ to hog the limelight overthrowing Balayya stardom. ‘Higher the expectations and higher the hype are directly proportionate to high chances of audience disappointment and film falling flat after openings.

We want ‘Dictator’ to lie as a dark horse in Pongal race. Audiences are final judges to decide Box Office verdict. Stylish trailers alone cannot do the trick. There is a powerful flashback and strong story in ‘Dictator’ which can keep Balakrishna as a surprise winner,’ a view expressed by Balayya Fan.
