Much delayed Attack finally releasing?
Manchu Manoj recently tasted one more failure with Shourya. Very few may remember, the actor have a film, Attack in the direction of Ram Gopal Varma. The movie shooting was completed long and the post production works have also completed.
The movie all of sudden was taken out of cold storage and is being prepared for release. The makers have announced the audio release event on 19th of this month in Prasad Labs, Hyderabad. Plans are also on to release the movie on March 23rd or April 1st.
The release date will be announced officially in the audio launch event. The makers have elaborate plans for the film promotions. Beeruva fame Surabhi is romancing Manoj in the film. Veteran actors Prakash Raj and Jagapathi Babu will be seen in crucial roles.
C.Kalyan is producing the film under his CK Entertainments Ltd Banner. Ravishankar is the music director. Lets see if Manchu Manoj and RGV will bag the much needed hit with this much delayed Attack.
Oopiri completes Re-recording
King Nagarjuna and Tamil Star hero, Karthi’s Oopiri is all set for a grand release on March 25th across the globe. Music director Gopi Sundar completed the re-recording of the film. On the other side, Nagarjuna finished his dubbing for the film while Tamannah and Karthi started their dubbing the other day.
Nagarjuna is playing the role of a quadriplegic bound to a wheelchair and Karthi will be seen as his caretaker in the film. The movie is the official remake of French Film, the Untouchables. Some changes were made to the script to suit to the sensibilities of the Telugu and Tamil audience.
Since Manam, Nagarjuna seem to be a different actor. He is putting lot of effort in choosing different subjects. Directed By Vamshi Paidipalli, Oopiri has music by Gopi Sunder and photography by P S Vinod. The movie was shot in never before seen exotic locales of France, Bulgaria, Slovenia and India.
Jagan will become the CM and will rule for 30 years !
When in times many MLA’s were jumping into the TDP, the YSRCP’s Chief Jagan has stated that the ruling party will not be affected when many parted from the party and Jagan has strong belief that one day he will be elected as the future CM of the state.
Presently the YSRCP leaders have accepted on to Jagan’s words and the party’s 6th yearly function at lotus pond which was held on March 14th and in the function the firebrand leader Roja has said Jagan will become Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister for a period of 30 years.
When Roja was making a comparative study between Chandrababu naidu and Jagan, she said Jagan is not a personality like Chandrababu. She said Chandrababu as a man known for his corruption in the state.
Roja further added Chandrababu’s period as CM will come to an end by 2019, within a matter of three years and thereafter Jagan will become the Chief Minister and he will rule the state for the succeeding 30 years.
INSIDE STORY: NTR pushes Koratala Siva in to a dilemma
Young Tiger NTR’s Janatha Garage is currently being shot in Mumbai. The makers are reportedly canning few scenes of1Mohanlal and NTR. Director Koratala is forced in to a dilemma by both the actors. The Superstars are competing each other in delivering mind-blowing performance which Koratala is struggling to match according to the script requirements.
But the director will definitely enjoy it as both of them are giving their best for the movie. The Mumbai schedule will go on till 25th of this month. Nithya Menen who is seen as the second heroine in the film joined the movie unit this morning. After the Mumbai schedule, they will shift to Hyderabad. A huge set worth 2.5 Crore is erected in Saradhi Studios for the movie shoot.
Majority of the movie shoot will take place in this set. Samantha is the main heroine. The makers have already announced their release plan. The movie is being planned for August 12th release as Independence day Special. The release date will work in favour of the film as Independence day holiday comes on Monday and the movie will have an extended weekend at the box office to register strong openings.
Cong Could Nail KCR At Last!
The Opposition parties in Telangana may be very weak compared to the Opposition in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, but they are experienced enough to trouble the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi government.
This was evident from the way Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao lost his cool and attacked the Congress party legislators who exposed the hollowness in the agreements signed by the TRS government with Maharashtra on Pranahita-Chevella project.
He tried to silence the Congress MLAs by launching a counter-attack on them with regard to irrigation projects, but had to admit finally that the agreements signed with the Maharashtra government were not final but only a first step.
He said discussions would continue with the neighbouring State and final agreements would be signed soon.
Well, if the agreements were just first step, why did KCR choose to celebrate it as a very big event? Why were such huge rallies and cut-outs all over Hyderabad describing KCR as “Apara Bhageeratha” as if Godavari water would start flowing from the very next day?
It is better the Chief Minister does not under-estimate Congress leaders like Jeevan Reddy, Geetha Reddy or for that matter Shabbir Ali and Uttam Kumar Reddy. He cannot shout them down every time.
The Congress leaders would get more and more such opportunities to expose the TRS government’s mistakes and they should put up a spirited fight if they want to come back to power!
Mickey Finally On The Rise
Talented music composer Mickey J Meyer is finally getting his due in Tollywood. Despite playing vital role in the success of many films like Happy Days, Kotha Bangaru Lokam, Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu etc. he didn’t get many offers from the big filmmakers.
Directors and heroes were always after Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman and overlooked Mickey all this while. He is finally on the rise with a bunch of biggies in his kitty.
Mickey J Meyer is currently scoring music for Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam and also Trivirkam’s A Aa. Mickey has replaced Anirudh for A Aa as the latter didn’t give tunes in time.
Mickey is also signed up for Sreenu Vaitla’s next. Vaitla is a big fan of DSP and Thaman’s music, but he chose Mickey over them for his upcoming film starring Varun Tej. This will be Mickey’s second film with Varun. Their first film Mukunda didn’t fare well but the music was a big hit.
200 Crore Riding On Pawan, Mahesh And Bunny
April and May are going to be very crucial for Tollywood box office. Three of the biggest films of the year are releasing in these months.
Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh will flag off the summer season on April 8th and Bunny’s Sarainodu will follow on April 22nd. Brahmotsavam is looking at May 13th release as of now.
So much is at stake on these three biggies with buyers investing hundreds of crores in them. As per trade sources more than 200 crore is riding on these three films. It would be good if these films live up to the expectations.
The damage will be unimaginable if they end up as disasters. Market will hit a slump if one these fail to live up.
Besides these biggies there are few other notable releases that are slated for April and May. Straight films like Supreme, A Aa, Premam and dubbing biggies like 24, Kabali are set to hit the marquee during this period.
Mickey J.Meyer music for Varun Tej – Vaitla film
Mega Prince Varun Tej’s next with Srinu Vaitla will have Mickey J.Meyer composing the music. The young music director previously scored music for Varun Tej’s debut film, Mukundha. This is his first time with Srinu Vaitla. The movie will have its launch on April 8th as Ugadi Special.
There will be two heroines in the film and Rakul Preet Singh is being considered as one of the heroines. The pre-production work of the film is nearing completion. The regular shooting of the film will begin after the launch.
Yuvraj who previously worked for Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gadha will be cranking the camera for the film. Nallamalupu Bujji is producing this film under his Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions Banner.
Both – Srinu Vaitla and Varun Tej are looking forward for this film as both of them desperately needs a big hit. Varun Tej’s last film, Loafer is a big flop while Vaitla’s career is at cross roads with two back to back disasters with Aagadu and Bruce Lee.

Prabhas,Rana,Tamanna,Anushka’s Baahubali directed by Rajamouli shook box office across the world with record breaking collections. Film with its grand visuals and story took movie lovers to virtually another world.
However after the end of the film all were disappointed as the most important question ‘Why Kattappa killed Baahubali’ was left unanswered.Now people are waiting eagerly for the release of second part which is currently in progress in the extravagant sets of RFC,Hyderabad.
In the midst of all this it is coming out that only one person in the entire world knows why Kattappa killed Baahubali.Sibiraj,son of Satyaraj who played the role of Kattappa said his father didnot reveal the secret despite him questioning him many times. He said Satyaraj didnot inform to his family members and said this shows his commitment to profession.
Sibiraj said however Satyaraj informed the secret to his grand son who is 2-1/2 year old but even the small boy is not sharing the secret. People can know the secret if they can get the answer from Satyaraj’s grand son.
Hansika’s new decision
In the Kollywood film industry, Hansika is in the lead position and she has also acted with the rising stars likewise she has acted with Udhayanidhi in Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, with Siddharth in Theeya Vela Seiyanum Kumaru and with Siva Karthikeyan in Maan Karate. All the movies were huge success.
On one side the actress have acted in successful hit movies also and she has performed in many failure movies like briyani, Settai, Meegaman, Aambala, Vaalu and Puli. She faced both failure and success simultaneously and her last year Romeo Juliet and Aranmani 2 were average ventures
Her Pokkiriraja which was released recently was a fig flop and so she has decided not to act with the rising stars. Right now she has only ‘Manithan’ and ‘Uyire Uyire’ is still struggling to get a release.
Her next with Jeyam Ravi is also getting delayed as the ground work is not yet completed.. She has taken strong decision to act only with lead actors in the industry in future in order to cement her spot.
