Nandamuri Balakrishna seem to have opted for director Krish for his prestigious 100th film. There are clear indications as such from the sources close to the actor. As revealed earlier, it will be a periodic film based on the story of Gautamiputra Sathakarani.

We are told that Yodhudu is the title in consideration. Balakrishna himself will announce the project very soon. Krish is reportedly busy in preparing the script and other pre-production works are also happening simultaneously. Casting plays a very important role in such project.

Lets see how Krish does that for the film. Needless to say expectations will be very high. Balakrishna is keen on bagging a huge success with this film. His last two films – Lion and Dictator ended up as big disasters.

He wants to make amends for that with this film. A hit here will ensure that the prestigious 100th film is etched in the memory of fans for a long long time. Lets see what is in store for him!

Anup Rubens composed music for Gopala Gopala. In the audio function of the film, Pawan Kalyan announced that he will be giving one more chance to Anup. And Pawan Kalyan kept his word and roped in Anup for his next film with Kushi fame SJ Surya.

It is now emerging that Kushi fame SJ Surya is finalized for the project. We are also said that the film is based on a blockbuster Tamil project and will go on floors after the release of Sardaar Gabbar Singh. Currently the script work and other pre-production works are happening.

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam is closely connected to annual Brahmotsavam of Tirumala Tirupati. For that reason, the makers have earlier planned their audio release event in Tirupati. But now we are said that there is a change of plan. We are told that the audio function will now happen in Hyderabad itself.

But plans are on to erect a Special Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam set for the film here. The event is likely to happen on April 10th. Official confirmation over this is awaited. The movie unit is currently in North India. They are planning to wrap up the entire shoot by mid-April.

Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu fame Srikanth Addala is wielding megaphone for this film. The makers have casted some real families in the film. Mickey J. Meyer is the music composer. Samantha, Pranitha and Kajal Aggarwal will be romancing Mahesh Babu in this film which is a family entertainer.

The pre-release business of the movie is creating new records. Zee Telugu recently bagged the satellite rights of the film and a sensational offer of 13 Crore was put forth for the movie’s Overseas rights, this is an all time record in Telugu film industry. The recently released First Look Teaser increased the expectations on the film.

Tamil actor Suriya’s 24 had good craze in Telugu as well due to the association of Manam fame Vikram Kumar and a very impressive First Look Teaser released recently. The movie will have same day release for the Telugu and Tamil versions probably in May end.

On the other side, they are planning to kick-start promotions from this month end. The audio release event of the Telugu version is planned for March 28th in Hyderabad. Suriya and the entire movie unit will come down to Hyderabad for the event.

The post production works of the movie are happening at brisk pace. Unconfirmed reports say Suriya may dub himself for the first time in Telugu. Samantha and Nithya Menon are the female leads. AR Rahman is the music composer.

The science fiction thriller is being produced by 2D Entertainment and K. E. Gnanavelraja jointly. Nithin has purchased the Telugu dubbing rights for a fancy price. There is a superb demand for the exhibition rights of the film from all areas.

Unlike other senior heroes, Nagarjuna’s movies are having dream run at the box-office. Among the four senior heroes, no hero had the distinction of delivering a movie that has collected more than Rs 50 Cr (share) including megastar Chiranjeevi.

He achieved this record in this year with “Soggade Chinni Nayana”. Before this film, he had delivered another big hit with “Manam” which had nearly touched Rs 40 Cr mark.

Buoyed by this streak of successes, he is now setting eyes on the record third hit in a row with “Oopiri”. The film is set for release on 25th March.

Directed by Vamsi Paidipally and produced by PVP Cinema, “Oopiri” is also looking very promising as the trailers are getting huge response. Since the film is also being released in Tamil along with the Telugu release, Nagarjuna is hoping to cross Rs 60 cr mark this time.

Nagarjuna’s “Manam” has grossed nearly 1.5 million dollars overseas and he believes this would shatter this record too. All in all, Nagarjuna has put on high hopes on the boxoffice potential of the movie.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas have teamed up for Julayi and S/O Satyamurthy. Both the films are blockbusters that changed Bunny’s fate. Julayi propelled him in to 40 Crore Share Club while S/O Satyamurthy pushed him in to the 50 Crore share club. Now the duo are teaming up for the third time.

Trivikram is currently busy wrapping up his A..Aa starring Nithin and Samantha. The movie is planned for release on May 6th. As per the latest buzz in the film circles, Trivikram is already penning a script for his next with Stylish Star Allu Arjun for his next project. The details of this project will be out after A..Aa releases.

On the other side, Bunny is also busy wrapping up his Sarainodu. The movie will release earlier than A..Aa. He will take a brief break after Sarainodu and will then begin Trivikram’s film. The fans are expecting no less than 60 Crore share with this hat-trick combination. Lets see where it ends!

It is already known that Sachin Joshi’s Viking Media and Entertainment Pvt Ltd had initiated criminal and Civil Proceedings against Ganesh over Nee Jathaga Nenundali movie. Sachin invested the money and Ganesh who should take care of the production and distribution, allegedly cheated Sachin with inflated rates in production and under reporting in distribution.

The case is currently in courts. We have seen Sachin Joshi on couple of occasions calling Bandla Ganesh as fraud openly and very recenrly he threatened that he will stop all the films that will be produced by Bandla Ganesh in future. This type of comments have taken a huge toll on Bandla’s image.

Heros who already committed to do film with the producer, are now hesitant to work with him. Some industry biggies have advised Bandla Ganesh to go for an out of court settlement with Sachin Joshi and sort out the issue or else it will dent his career here. Ganesh agreed for but we will have to see if Sachin agrees!

Mega Power Star Ram Charan was reportedly approached for Women Safety drive initiated by the Telangana police. The actor has agreed instantly for the noble initiate. Telangana police recently started Women Safety awareness initiative across Hyderabad and other areas of Telangana State.

As a part of this initiative, they will be teaching nearly two thousand girls and women about self defense and safety precautions. Ram Charan will preside as special guest for some of these programs. The actor is currently busy in the works of his sister’s marriage and will very soon allot dates for this program.

On the other side, the shooting of his Dhruva, the remake of Thani Oruvan is also not happening on the expected lines due to Srija’s marriage. In the last one month, the team just shot for a week. Once Ram Charan is free, he will shoot non-stop for the film. Plan is to release it on August 12th as Independence day Special.
