Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma is one director who knows how to stay in news. In fact, he is more in news for ‘other’ reasons than the filmy reasons. Ram Gopal Varma came up with a quirky message on the occasion of International Women’s day today.

Recently Ram Gopal Varma went to Vijayawada for the research for his Vangaveeti. The ace director already announced that Vangaveeti is going to be his last film in Telugu Cinema.

Tamil Star Hero Suriya became a household name in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana since the blockbuster hit of Ghajini. From then all his films are being dubbed in to Telugu and they have good demand in trade here. But in recent times, the actor is encountered with back to back flops.

Suriya is trying his luck once again with Manam fame Vikram Kumar’s 24. The movie is being planned for Summer release. The producer of the Telugu version wants him to dub for one of the roles in the film. If that happens, it will be Suriya’s first time for Telugu audience.

However Suriya is yet to confirm that. The actor is currently busy in the shoot of his Singham-3. Samantha and Nithya Menon are the female leads. AR Rahman is the music composer. The science fiction thriller is being produced by 2D Entertainment and K. E. Gnanavelraja jointly. Nithin has purchased the Telugu dubbing rights for a fancy price.

Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej is shooting for his next, Supreme in Hyderabad. Currently a song is being canned on Sai Dharam Tej and it goes like ‘wala wala main hoon taxi wala’. Shekar Master is choreographing dance movements for this song.

The entire talkie part of the film will be completed this week. The movie is sold out completely even before the shooting is complete. Abhishek Picture purchased the negative rights of the film for a fancy amount. Negative rights mean all the rights of the film including satellite, dubbing etc.

Now the makers of Supreme have to ready the first copy of the film and hand it over to Abhishek Pictures. Rashi Khanna is the heroine in the film and she plays a cop in the film. The recently released teaser increased the expectations on the movie.

The movie comes with a caption, ‘Don’t Sound Horn’ and will see Sai Dharam Tej playing the role of a cab driver. Pataas fame Anil Ravipudi is directing this film. Dil Raju is producing the film on his Sri Venkateswara Creations Banner. Sai Karthik is composing music for the film.

Linga troubles seem to be still chasing Superstar Rajinikanth. An additional district Munisiff court in Madurai, Tamil Nadu had issued summons to the Superstar. This is in relation to a case filed by a writer, KR Ravirathinam who is alleging that the storyline of ‘Linga’ movie is stolen from him. The case was filed even before the movie release way back in December 2014.

Tamil Nadu high court have allowed the movie release after the producer deposited a sum of Rs 5 crore by demand draft and another Rs 5 crore by way of bank guarantee before releasing the movie. Notices were also issued to Linga producer Rockline Venkatesh, B.Pon Kumar and director KS Ravikumar.

The court asked the director KS Ravi Kumar and writer, KR Ravirathinam to attend the court. On the other side, on the complaint of the complainant, Tamil Nadu high court instructed the Munisiff court to complete the case trial by April 30th.

Nandamuri Balakrishna had announced the much awaited filmy debut of his son, Mokshagna. The actor had confirmed that Mokshagna will be acting along with him in his Aditya 999, the sequel of Aditya 369. However Balakrishna confirmed that the film will not be his 100th project and Aditya 999 will take some more time.

Speaking about the 100th project, “I will make an announcement over the 100th project after this Amavasya. I have couple of stories ready – ‘Raithu’ in the direction of Krishna Vamshi and ‘Gowthamputhra Sathakarani’ in the direction of Krish. One of them may happen”. So it will be a different project for the actor for his prestigious project.

Earlier we have heard names like Singeetham Srinivasa Rao and Boyapati Srinu for this prestigious project and now new names have cropped up. Nandamuri Balakrishna’s last two projects – Lion and Dictator have disappointed big time at the box office. Nandamuri fans are eagerly waiting for the announcement.
