Dil Raju, the man with the Midas touch, never ceases to surprise with his blind trust in directors who failed in their previous attempts. However, Dil Raju is going through a rough patch and even his trust on flop directors isn’t helping him much, the latest example being Vasu Varma who directed Krishnashtami.

Now, latest buzz has it that Dil Raju is once again roping in yet another director who gave a huge flop on his debut, the writer-director BVS Ravi. Apparently, BVS Ravi will direct Sai Dharam Tej’s next film which will be produced by Dil Raju. KVPG’s Mehreen is supposedly under talks for the film.

BVS Ravi earlier made his directorial debut with Gopichand’s Wanted. The film was panned by critics and audiences alike. Ravi also teamed up with Puri Jagannadh for Chiru’s shelved project Auto Johnny and even wrote a string of Manchu family movies. Will Dil Raju’s trust in Ravi end up in a success?

Two are looking for their prestigious landmarks, one is looking for multistarrers, but the one we are talking is giving surprises each time with his selection of films and their results too. Your guess is wrong if it is not King Nagarjuna among the top four senior heroes of our filmdom.

The latest we realize is that Nagarjuna hit a hat-trick with his latest Sankranti release Soggade Chinni Nayana. For those who are wondering his blockbuster films in a row, read it on. Akkineni multistarrer Manam was one of the best films in Tollywood and we have seen how audience owned the film.

And being it the last film of Akkineni Nageswara Rao, its not just special for Nagarjuna, but for millions of Telugu fans across the world. That was in 2014 making the first blockbuster of Nagarjuna in hattrick.

Well, the second one is not a film, but the biggest TV show that kept the TV watchers arrested to it. Undoubtedly its the charm and spontaneity of Nagarjuna, that kept the show lovely and hottest all the time, every season. To mention, its the highest TRP rated show in South in 2015.

And Soggade Chinni Nayana emerged as the Sankranti winner of 2016 with highest collections beating all the other releases. That’s the hat-trick hit for Nagarjuna! For those who thought that the era of senior heroes has gone, here is the word ‘The King is Back’!!

This director has got very good creativity. He rocked with his movies at one point and he had a trademark style in 80s. He faded out with time and recently he came up with another movie. For this, he put up many posters but nobody came to buy it.

Then he changed the title and gave new posters. Still, nobody came and when some suggested him to change the title, he was stubborn and didn’t change it. Finally, one buyer came and took the film but nobody came to watch it in theatres.

This director thinks he has craze and respect in market for his image and talent but nobody is giving him any regard. Recently he made a short film and all got shocked. They were cursing what he wanted to prove with it.

Also, one movie with a young hero was locked but with the hero’s other movie becoming a hit he silently distanced himself from the director and the project got shelved. This director is also very good at writing stories and many suggest he should settle like that only.

The reason being, he has got a lot of negative attitude and generally someone comes forward to help, he has got a loose tongue and lot of arrogance. Since he has not mended his ways it is not suiting today’s industry standards.

Many politicians are good at being satirical and sarcastic, though they purely restrict it for opposition leaders. One name needs a mention for his timing and ingenuity at any given moment. Telangana TDP leader Revanth reddy attended an audio event yesterday and his speech there enthralled audience to the most.

Revanth Reddy in his speech at Nara Rohith’s Tuntari audio launch, mentioned that TDP’s army is 60 lakhs and double to that of US Army and if Yellow army watches Tuntari just for two times no one else need to watch, as it already becomes a blockbuster.

Not that others need not watch Tuntari, but being a politician, Revanth’s mix up with Yellow army to Tuntari movie entertained all the guests over there. Going ahead, Revanth even wishes Nara Rohith to score a super success with Tuntari, to get his name Tuntari Rohith, like Raju got ‘Dil’ to become Dil Raju.

Here’s is the latest couple in Tollywood, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s youngest daughter Srija and her husband-to-be Kanuganti Kalyan, posing cheerfully to the shutterbugs. Kalyan, unlike earlier reports, is said to be based in Hyderabad only and he is not an NRI.

Kalyan graduated from BITS Pilani’s Dubai campus. Kalyan understands Srija very much and they both have been good friends since their school days. The wedding will take place in March. Initially, Chiru planned a very private wedding in Hyderabad. But latest reports reveal that both the families will fly to an undisclosed location for a destination wedding.

Just like a career in the corporate industry, even lives in film industry are having their time limits. This applies to many directors who come and fizzle out in no time. Currently, many directors who are in bench and old directors are going through the phase of unemployment.

They don’t know another work either. So, they are adopting a new strategy. Somehow they want to convince new producers and customizing their stories as per the budget. They are starting the movies with new faces and after two months of doing time pass, the producers will realize what they got into and they will back off from the project.

This news will anyhow not come out in media so once it is done the directors search for another new producer. Only solution for this is, when they are in limelight they should get into alternative businesses such as real estate, food and others.

But depending only on cinema has become pathetic. As a result, they are manipulating new producers and rotating money from one to another. We are not mentioning their names due to obvious reasons.

Hanu Raghavapudi. Currently, this name is the most talked about in Tollywood’s circles thanks to the noises Hanu’s latest film Krishnagadi Veera Prema Gaadha is making in the Telugu states. The film’s success proves Hanu’s talent, even though he made a disastrous debut with Andhala Rakshasi way back in 2012.

To those who are curious to rnknow about how Hanu made a mark for himself in Tollywood, he first stepped into Hyderabad to pursue his MCA degree. In 2003, he joined creative director Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s direction team for the path breaking film Aithe and went on to assist him in his following films.

Hanurn then made a short film titled I Am Famous with a touching story in AIDS backdrop and it became a talk of Tollywood. The short film even impressed Rajamouli, who apparently enquired about Hanu’s talent from rnhis close friend Chandrasekhar Yeleti and recommended Hanu’s name to Sairn Korrapati for Andhala Rakshasi.
