Babu, Please Control Your Expenditure
The truncated state of Andhra Pradesh had been facing a severe financial crunch ever since the state bifurcation in 2014. The deficit budget even saw the state’s government unable to pay monthly salaries to its employees. Whatever major and minor funds and packages granted by the centre are being adjusted to several projects and Amaravati construction.
While the state and its people are reeling from numerous hardships, the man whom the people brought into power to bail them out from their miseries, CM Chandrababu Naidu, is completely oblivious to people’s concerns. In turn, Babu has gone on a rampage on the state’s treasure with his ridiculous expenditures every month ever since he formed his government.
As per estimated figures, a whopping 50 crores are being spent on Babu’s ludicrous expenditures every year. Babu maintains three camp houses for his official purposes, one in Vijayawada and the other two in Hyderabad, along with his official residence in Jubilee Hills and maintenance altogether costs a bomb of nearly 3 crores to the state’s treasure every month.
Also, Babu got his CM’s chamber in the Secretariat, the Lake View Guest House and the Limgamaneni Guest House in Amaravati reconstructed and equipped with hi-tech facilities at an expense of nearly 30 crores.
On the other hand, his frequent trips between Hyderabad and Vijayawada and also his foreign tours for the state’s development are adding to his lavish expenditures to the tune of 50 crores each year. It’s high time Chandrababu cut down his expenses and worked towards erasing the people’s beliefs that he is the most flamboyant CM in the country.

Teluguites diehard love for castes and casteism is legendary and needs no introduction. While this castiest madness among the people primarily centres around politics and films, it also spread its roots to several other key sectors of the society like media, education, health and what not.
Understanding this evergrowing phenomenon, even certain media houses have been exploiting this caste madness by publishing several features, be it in praise or against a particular caste. It is pathetic that media houses are ignoring their responsibilities and are even spreading venom in their reports in the name of caste.

Media houses have been following the ‘publish a hatted filled article about a particular caste and people belonging to those castes will create traffic towards their sites or TV channels to read those articles’. This alarming trend is only creating a negative impact on the society which is yet to get rid of the caste evil.
Telugu Thriller Goes National
Some films grab the attention of many and go beyond expectations. It is needless to say films like ‘Bahubali’ do such things, but a film like ‘Kshanam’ which is releasing only in Telugu also did.
The nationally acclaimed Bollywood critic Taran Adarsh tweeted about the film stating: “Loved the trailer of Telugu film #Kshanam. Gripping. Intriguing. Keeps you hooked. Check it out!” followed by its trailer link.
This goes without saying that the enquiries start coming for this film to remake in other languages. ‘Kshanam’ proves to be a surprise film that’s catching eyeballs of many. Even the trailer received positive response from all corners. The film is set to release in a few weeks and the reason for its national attention can be partly attributed to Adavi Sesh, who played a key role in ‘Bahubali’.
