Brahmotsavam pushed to May?
Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam was earlier planned for April release but now reports are emerging that the movie is pushed to May. The reasons for the delay are not known but the official announcement of the postponement will come out very soon. On the other side, Brahmotsavam is being canned in RFC.
Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu fame Srikanth Addala is wielding megaphone for this film. The makers have casted some real families in the film. Mickey J. Meyer is the music composer. Samantha, Pranitha and Kajal Aggarwal will be romancing Mahesh Babu in this film which is a family entertainer.
The pre-release business of the movie is creating new records. Zee Telugu recently bagged the satellite rights of the film and a sensational offer of 13 Crore was put forth for the movie’s Overseas rights, this is an all time record in Telugu film industry. The recently released First Look Teaser increased the expectations on the film.
Prabhas needs no rest after Baahubali
Young Rebel Star Prabhas is currently shooting for Baahubali – The Conclusion. The entire shooting is expected to be completed by October. Prabhas is working for years on this mammoth project but is in no mood of taking any rest. Run Raja Run fame Sujeeth Sign will be directing this movie.
Prabhas is also planning to shoot another film in the direction of Krishnam Raju simultaneously with this movie. As per the rumour mills, Prabhas will be seen as a Powerful Police officer in Sujeeth’s film. This is his first time in such role.
Vamsi and Pramod who produced Mirchi with Prabhas will be funding this project on their UV Creations banner. The makers have roped in noted Tamil cinematographer Madhie to crank the camera. Madhie is known for his excellent work in Prabhas’ Mirchi, Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu and Run Raja Run.
30 minutes chopped off from Krishnashtami?
Comedian turned hero Sunil’s latest offering, Krishnashtami is all set for a grand release on February 19th. The promotions of the film are going on at full swing. We are said that the movie is of just 135 minutes duration. The movie reportedly came up to 165 minutes but producer Dil Raju sat at the editing table and made sure that extra 30 minutes is chopped off.
Nikki Galrani and Dimple Chopade are the heroines in the film. Brahmanandam, Ashutosh Rana, Mukesh Rishi, Posani Krishna Murali, Rajan Modi, Suman, Sapthagiri, Pavithra Lokesh and Tulasi will be seen in important roles.
Josh fame Vasu Verma is wielding megaphone for this film in which Sunil will be seen as an NRI. Dinesh has composed the music. Dil Raju is producing the film on his Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.
20 Crore set for Rajinikanth’s Robo 2.0
The makers of Superstar Rajinikanth’s 2.0 have erected a modern hi-fi city set in the Poonamalli region in Chennai. The set reportedly costed a whopping 20 Crore for the makers and the shooting in this set will begin from 18th of this month. The makers have roped in renowned Hollywood action choreographer Kenny Bates for 2.0.
Kenny previously worked for some hit films like Transformers, Pearl Harbour and Mission Impossible in the past. We are said that the makers have fixed ‘Chitti 2.0’ as the title of the film and they have also registered the title with the film chamber. Bollywood Star Hero Akshay Kumar was roped in to play an important role.
Akshay Kumar will join the movie shoot in March. Oscar Award Music Director AR Rahman will be composing music for the film. Rest of the crew include crew cinematographer Nirav Shah, Art Director Muthuraj, VFX Supervisor Srinvas Mohan, Editor Antony and Rasool Pookutty handling the Sound Designing.
