A point to be underlined is that no artist or technician has come out from his family members in a notably prominent way till yesterday. But now, Shravya Varma who happens to be the niece of Ram Gopal Varma emerged as a designer and stylist moving ahead in her career with a rocket speed. She is frequently seen in Page 3 columns as well in elite circles as a young designer but hardly anyone knows that she has connection with RGV.

Shravya Varma boasts her clientele viz. Trisha, Lavanya Tripathi, Konidela Niharika and many more on her FB and Twitter. She is even close to Nagarjuna, Rana Daggubati and many other happening stars in the industry with her eye on detailing in dressing.

Already Rama Rajamouli, Rupa Vaitla and Neeraja Kona are among celeb ladies who happen to be the designers. Now Shravya Varma’s name adds to the list. It is to be observed that neither RGV promotes his niece on twitter nor Shravya promotes herself taking RGV’s name. Self made egocentric blood of RGV seems to be flowing in his entire family.

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali released and created history at the worldwide box-office last year. The film has been called India’s biggest blockbuster. Now, can anyone believe that the man behind this historic success, Rajamouli, initially felt that Baahubali will not work commercially?

Prabhas, at the just concluded GAMA Film Awards in Dubai where Baahubali grabbed most of the awards, revealed several hidden and interesting facts about Baahubali. The Young Rebel Star said that Baahubali was initially planned as only one part and that once the script was locked and budget was chalked out, Rajamouli told the film’s producers Shobu and Prasad that Baahubali will not be commercially viable.

Prabhas went on explaining that being passionate about films, both the producers asserted Rajamouli that they will pump in any amount of money to  back the project at any cost and even told Rajamouli not to worry about the risks and finances involved. And then, the film began and the rest was history!

After debacles like Kochadaiiyaan (Vikrama Simha in Telugu) and Linga, Rajinikanth is keen to make a grand comeback. This time he believed in a young filmmaker Ranjith and joined forced with him for Kabali. Rajini’s look in the film received storming response and there’s curiosity surrounding the project.

Currently in shooting phase, the film is in the final leg of its shooting. While makers are planning to wrap up post-production works in March and release the film on April 14 on the eve of Ugadi (Tamil New Year), here comes a blow. As Assembly Elections in Tamil Nadu are round the corner and likely to be held in April, Rajini’s plan to release Kabali in election season is said to be dropped now.

Rajini is of the opinion that releasing the film in election season in Tamil Naidu is not wise move as it’d case dent to the collections of the film. This led Rajini to push the film’s release to April end or May. Meanwhile,  Kabali teaser is slated for release on Feb 24. Looks like, politics spoil Rajini’s plans to cash in Ugadi festival.

It’s wedding time in mega family. Yes, another young hero from the mega family is going to join the list of grooms to-be. Young Allu is going to walk down the aisle soon. Allu Sirish himself made it official that he is going to get hitched shortly.

Allu Sirish didn’t reveal any details about his marriage but shared the good news on Twitter and asked for the blessings of fans and well wishers. “Twaralone naku srimastu subhamastu. Mi andhari aaseesulu naku kavali. Migata vivaralu ati twaralo. Itlu, mee Siri” tweeted Sirish.

Congress leaders in Visakhapatnam have alleged that top film director Ram Gopal Varma ‘lost mental capacity’. Taking this further, Vizag Congress leaders have submitted a petition to Vizag Mental Hospital Superintend that RGV has no mental balance. Apparently, Congress leaders were upset with RGV’s controversial film Vangaveeti in which he’s going to portray their beloved leader Rajeev Gandhi.

As the Satya director made sensational revelations about his next film based on Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga in a voice over followed by a song, tremors are being felt among film, political circles.

On other hand, Members of Gandhi Global Trust (GGT) approached the Vijayawada in-charge Police Commissioner, N V Surendra Babu and requested him to stop RGV’s Vangaveeti. The members of GGT alleged that RGV is trying to raise the tensions among the two castes with his film and sure it will create law and order problem in the city.
