Ramya Krishna charges a bomb for Rudraksha
Creative director Krishna Vamsi has roped in his wife and yesteryear heroine Ramya Krishna for his upcoming film, Rudraksha. Previously the couple worked together for Nagarjuna’s Chandrakala. The actress will be seen as a ghost in the film.
She reportedly got a whopping 1.5 Crore pay check for the film, until now she is only demanding around 40 Lakhs to 80 Lakhs per movie. This is on par with top heroines in Tollywood.
Ramya Krishna’s career graph is soaring recently with the back-to-back successes of Baahubali and Soggade Chinni Nayana, and her inclusion in Rudraksha will surely increase the hype surrounding the film. The film will go on floors very soon.
KVPG gets record release for Nani!
Nani’s latest offering, Krishna gaadi Veera Prema Gadha is all set for a grand release on February 12th. The Overseas premieres will be screened the previous night there. The movie is releasing in 130 screens in 118 Centres in USA, this is the highest ever release for any Nani film in the United States.
There are good expectations on the film there as Nani’s previous film, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy did extremely well there. Andhala Rakshasi fame Hanu Raghavapudi is directing the film. 14 Reels Entertainments which recently tasted flops like Aagadu and 1-Nenokkadine is producing the film. Nani will be seen as a hardcore fan of Balakrishna in the movie.
Maniratnam’s promise to Nani
Nani dubbed for Dulquer’s role in Maniratnam’s Ok Bangaram. Later Mani announced a project with Nani in the lead role and after couple of months travel, the project is shelved for some reason. Nani spilled beans on that in an interview, “A film with Mani sir is very much on.
Previous project was dropped as Mani Sir found similarities between his script and a recently released Bollywood film. He promised to work with me in future”.

Remuneration and Credits will solve Chiru150 controversy!
The prestigious 150th project of Megastar Chiranjeevi hit a roadblock after a writer claimed that the story of the Original is a rip off from his work. Federations have announced non-coperation for the project until Narasimha Rao gets justice.
“Federations will make sure I get my due (remuneration) from the makers. Besides, that they should also acknowledge my work on screen. As a creative person, I will fight for that for sure,” Narasimha Rao said.
The controversy cropped up even before Chiranjeevi’s 150th project is announced. Narasimha Rao narrated a story to Vijay who later showed disinterest. Some time later, Vijay made Kaththi with AR Murugadoss and the story is very much similar to what Narasimha Rao narrated to him.
Pawan Kapu Dialogue in Sardaar?
Close on the heels of the sensational Kapu agitation which led to the burning of a train and setting fire to police stations in Tuni, the latest rumour in film nagar is that Pawan’s forthcoming film Sardaar Gabbar Singh would be having a dialogue on Kapu community.
“Nenu Kapuvanni…Kapu Kasevanni” is allegedly a dialogue of Pawan in the film. Whether Pawan really mouthed this controversial dialogue or not is a million dollar question, this dialogue is doing rounds in social media.
Apparently, Pawan had hurt a section of Kapus with his recent comments that he doesn’t represent Kapu community alone and he never claimed so. Though Pawan has been saying this from longtime, but the timing of his statement raised falk from few hardline Kapu leaders, followers. Gossipmongers now linking this to the latest rumour and speculating that Pawan would be uttering a dialogue for Kapus as damage-control move.
On other hand, people who closely associated with Pawan say that Pawan wouldn’t resort to such things – especially Pawan won’t reduce himself to a caste-based leader given that he has always positioned himself as national integrationist, true patriot.
If at all Pawan does it, definitely it’s going to trigger new controversy and may further widen the gap between castes. This also may invite ire from sections, communities other than Kapus. So, it’s better if this rumour becomes false.
Facts Behind Suresh babu’s Suspension
It was a big hulchul since the news came out on civil court suspending D Suresh Babu from being the President of Telugu Film chamber of commerce. But there are certain facts behind this incident and they need to see the light.
Suresh is one of the biggest producers in India, a distributor, a studio owner and exhibitor too. In one word, he is the most eligible candidate for the post of president of film chamber for his potential and mastery in the mentioned departments of film making.
Well, the judgement from local civil court read that Suresh Babu cannot be continued in president post any more. But, after digging into the facts, it is clearly known that the judgement is purely based on technical and communication issues.
In the first point, It stated that the competitive commission imposed a fine of 12 lakh rupees. It’s the fine levied on film chamber, but not on Suresh Babu.
It was mentioned that the payment of common good fund is still pending. But the common good fund was already paid and they have the receipt for the same.
Now its clear, that the suspension happened only because the above documents were not produced at court on time and the same court will be lifting the suspension on Suresh babu very soon.
Suresh Babu won as Film chamber president with a great majority, in the exhibitor quota this time. Needless to mention, Suresh babu is a giant exhibitor with huge number of theatres in both the Telugu states.
How Did The Soldier Survive For 6 Days?
Miracles still happen, the survival of Indian army soldier stuck under 35 feet of snow on Siachen glacier is one of them. Not just his tough survival training and strong will-power to live but also the cold might have helped him stay with his breath.
Lance Naik Hanumanthappa Koppad was found in a conscious but drowsy state after 6 days after 10 soldiers from 19 Madras regiment were declared dead when a deadly avalanche swept them away. They were manning the helipad Saltoro Ridge of Siachen Glacier, which is said to be the highest helipad in the world.
Health analysts opine ice helped Koppad from death. And the internal injuries can surface if body gets damaged by extreme weather conditions, which didnot happen in Koppad’s case luckily. There are high chances of heartrate slowdown leading to cardiac arrest and basal metabolic rate that can lead to slow death.
They also opine, Koppad must have been trapped in air pocket. Soldiers to escape from extreme weather conditions like avalanche hits, they will get trained in creating air pockets like a air ball around their head to help them breathe. At this moment, Lance Naik Koppad is put on ventilator in intensive care to protect his lungs and the next two days are critical for him.

Ram Charan’s next, Thani Oruvan remake which was to be launched today is postponed in the last minute. The launch event will happen on 18th February, Thursday (Ekadasi). The film will start rolling from 21st.
