Sai Dharam Tej okays his first remake?
Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej is currently shooting simultaneously for his next projects – Supreme and Thikka. It is said that the actor may do his first ever remake as his next project. The makers of Kannada super hit, Mr & Mrs Ramachari recently approached him with their film script. He is reportedly very impressed with the script and may take up this as his next project.
Except for his first film – Rey (released second), Sai Dharam Tej is largely successful. He is also seen as the actor with great ease among the new generation heroes. And he looks to consolidate his position further with coming projects.
Wife helped Aadi in Garam
Lovely Star Aadi entered in to a rough patch recently with back to back failure, he is banking big on his Friday release, Garam to make a comeback. Aadi’s parents have stepped in to complete the project when the original producers backed out mid way. Aadi will be speaking Godavari accent in the film.
Even though he had a tutor to help picking up the accent, his wife who hails from Rajahmundry helped him immensely, he revealed. The actor and his team are extensively promoting the film. This is also Aadi’s first release after marriage and having a baby girl. So the movie result is important for him in many ways.
Rana’s funny comment on marriage
Rana Daggubati is one of the most eligible bachelors in Tollywood. Earlier he was linked to Trisha but the alliance did not go any where. While there are rumours and stories doing around about Rana’s marriage, the handsome hunk came up with an interesting comment.
“After playing a wicked role in Baahubali. No girl is daring to come before me with marriage proposal,” Rana said to media at a promotional event of his latest Tamil release, Bangalore Naatkal.
Rana is currently shooting for his Baahubali – The Conclusion and Bollywood Project, Ghazi. He also have couple of Telugu and Tamil projects in pipeline. He is also contemplating doing the sequel to his debut film, Leader.
Raghavendra Rao all set to act?
If everything goes well, veteran film director Raghavendra Rao may have his acting debut. He was approached for an important role in Raj Tharun’s next, Sathamanam Bhavathi. This film will be helmed by a new comer Satish Vegesna who worked as a writer to Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh. Sai Dharam Tej was to do the film but now it reached Raj Tharun.
Dil Raju will be producing the film under his Sri Venkateswara Creations Banner. Dil Raju has the track record of introducing several fine talent to industry like Bommarillu Bhaskar, Sukumar, Srikanth Addala etc. We will see if Satish Vegesna is his new find and contribution to Tollywood.
Babu Compares KCR to Potti Sriramulu
Its not Chandrababu, but Mohan Babu compared KCR to Potti Sriramulu. Mohan Babu opposed K Chandrasekhar Rao when the current chief minister of Telangana was doing agitation for separate state.
Apparently, Mohan Babu is pleased with KCR’s ruling and policies, as he is praising the TRS chief for winning as many as 99 divisions in the GHMC elections. What’s more, he has compared KCR with Amarajeevi (Immortal Being) Potti Sriramulu who lost his life for the separate state of Andhra Pradesh.
‘History tells that great revolutions are always led by a focussed determined individual. It was Sri Potti Sriramulu for liberation of AP & Now Sri. KCR, the crusader for the cause of people of Telangana. I congratulate Sri. Mohan Babu met KCR almost one year ago to invite the Telangana CM for his younger son Manchu Manoj’s wedding. Accepting the invitation, KCR went to attend the wedding.
Samantha’s Stunning 100 Kg Deadlift
Not even a year passed since a video of the gorgeous beauty Samantha sweating it out in the gym as she lifted nearly 60 kgs in a sumo deadlift went viral on social media. Sam’s ‘powerful’ feat was even appreciated by Naga Chaitanya and Nagarjuna, apart from millions of her fans.
And now, yet another video is doing the rounds lately in which Sam raised the bar high as she lifted a whopping 100 kgs in a deadlift this time. Sam lifts the weights thrice, while her trainer captured her feat. Celebrating her feat, Sam even shows off her muscles at the end of the video.
The video once again proved that there is more to Samantha than just being a pretty face and a leading actress.
Cricketer Declined Interview to Short Dressed Host?
There were reports all over that famous South African skipper Hashim Amla refused to give an interview to an Indian reporter, who dressed herself in short clothes. Rumors say that Hashim asked to get back in more clothes, and only then he would talk to her.
Many Islamic wings extended their support to Hashim for his stubborn beliefs. Well, this is not the first time for this cricketer to get the spotlight for these sort of controversies. Earlier, Hashim refused to wear a jersey bearing a logo of sponsoring beer brand. He even got ready to pay fine for going against the team rules.
But the star cricketer responded through his twitter handle on this whole new controversy, saying he would never impose his own beliefs on anybody else. Calling 95 percent stuff on internet is fake and he denied asking any reporter to come in proper dress!
Super Star out of Thani Oruvan Remake
The super success of Tamil film Thani Oruvan has led to great buzz. The film has been in news for all right reasons. While Ram Charan has announced that he’d be doing the film’s remake in Telugu, not long ago it’s reported that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan would reprise in the Hindi remake.
However latest reports indicate that Salman Khan has apparently walked out of the project. Instead, he decided to do another film. As Salman dropped from the project, it’s learnt the Hindi remake is shelved as of now.
Titled Rakshak in Telugu, the film will see Rakul Preet romancing Ram Charan and Surender Reddy wielding the megaphone. Aravind Swamy has been cast in to reprise his original role in Thani Oruvan. Although both Charan and Salman share great rapport and best buddies, Salman chose not to be part of the Hindi version.
Samantha’s Relentless Journey For A Hit
In 2014, one of Tollywood’s leading actresses Samantha had four Telugu releases out of which only Manam became a blockbuster while the other three films like Autonagar Surya, Alludu Seenu and Rabhasa ended up as huge flops. Sam then shifted based to Kollywood in 2015.
In Tamil, Samantha acted in a handful of crazy projects like 10 Endrathukulla, Nava Manmadhudu, Theri and Bangalore Naatkal. Sam was quite proud of all these projects and even claimed that her roles in 10 Endrathukulla and Nava Manmadhudu were the best films of her career.
Sadly, both the films flopped while her only Telugu release in 2015, S/O Satyamurthy, became a decent hit here. This must have made Samantha realize that she should not distance herself from Tollywood and Telugu fans. And now, Sam packed her bags back to Hyderabad.
In 2016, Samantha has 3 Telugu releases A..Aa, Brahmotsavam and Janatha Garage, and if Krishna Vamsi manages to wind up his Rudraksha quickly, Sam will have 4 Tollywood films whereas in Tamil, she only has Vijay’s Theri and Suriya’s 24. Is Samantha following a 2-eyed policy while juggling Tollywood and Kollywood in her quest for a solid hit?
