Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma recently announced to make and release short films of his own and of others through RGV Talkies. His first short film Single X, an erotic one, is ready to hit online soon.

Usually, RGV makes contentious remarks on someone to generate hype on his projects. Likewise, he has started other way promotional work for his Single X too.

RGV said his film can wake up Manmohan Singh and underworld don Dawood Ibrahim will love it. RGV swiftly clarified that, this Manmohan Singh is driver of his neighbour, but not former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Here is RGV’s statement: “I am not really political but real test for “Single X” is whether it can wake up even a zombie like Manmohan Singh. But I somehow have a strong feeling that Dawood Ibrahim will love “Single X”. The Zombie Manmohan Singh I was referring to is my neighbour’s driver and not who u are thinking who it is Single X.”

Common question arises in everyone is that, what is the purpose of RGV using the term ‘political’, when he was not referring to the ace political leader Manmohan Singh.

Nani’s next, Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gadha is getting ready for February 12th release. The movie has completed its censor formalities a little while ago and is rated ‘U/A’ certificate. The movie has got a superb chance to flourish at the box office as there is no competition. Sankranthi releases have started losing their steam and will be totally out by the time of release.

Speedunnodu is already a big disaster. If Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gadha manages to get good talk, the movie will rake in good numbers at the box office. On the other side, plans are on to release the movie in more than 125 locations in Overseas which is very huge.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s next under the direction of Surender Reddy will have its muhurtham tomorrow. The regular shooting of the film will begin from 21st. They are aiming at August 12th release as Independence day special.

Sensational Tamil music directors duo Hiphop Tamizha are making their Telugu debut with this film. They have started the film’s music sittings few days ago in Bengaluru.

Ram Charan’s uncle, Allu Aravind and Senior Producer NV Prasad will be jointly producing the film which is being directed by Surender Reddy. NV Prasad earlier produced Charan’s Racha. Arvind Swamy will be reprising his role from the original for the film.

Creative director Sukumar flew to USA the other night. He will be back again on February 19th and then will be announcing the details of his next project. Probably it will be with Devi Sri Prasad as hero.

Sukumar toiled really hard to complete his Nannaku Prematho in time for Sankranthi release. He finally managed the biggest hit of his career with the film. So it is a well deserved holiday for him. It is also Sukumar’s first 50 Crore share film.

Once he is back from the holiday, he will begin the script work and then take up the project in couple of months. Besides direction, Sukumar is also working on other project, his second production venture.
