How do you feel when a talented singer travel along with you and even perform to cheer co-passengers. That’s what Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam did a month ago, which cost 5 crew of jet airways their jobs.

Singer Sonu Nigam was flying from Mumbai to Jodhpur, last month. When his co-passengers requested, Sonu obliged and crooned couple of songs- Do pal ruka from Veer Zaara and Panchhi nadiya from Refugee, using public announcement system.

Unfortunately, someone in the flight had shot the incidence and put it on youtube. This video went viral on the social media and also went into the notice of Civil aviation regulator DGCA that asked Jet Airways to punish all cabin crew members on the flight.

The airline in a statement said the crew have been suspended for “corrective training” to strengthen strict obedience to operating procedures.

“This act lack of common sense according to me is Real Intolerance,” the singer retorted today, pointing out that when he sang, there were no announcements that needed to be made.

“I have witnessed an elaborate fashion show in an aircraft…I have seen pilots and crew members cracking humorous jokes to loosen up passengers in other countries which is so cool,” he added.
