Rajamouli about ‘Why Kattappa Killed Baahubali?’
‘Why Kattappa Killed Baahubali?’ is the million dollars question asked by film enthusiasts across the nation. Every one are eagerly waiting for the release of the second part for the answer for this particular question.
Speaking to CNN-IBN, Rajamouli elaborated about this, “It is no simple answer. Kattappa did not arrive at the decision in a single day. There are series of incidents that forced him to do that”.
Baahubali – The Conclusion is being planned for 2016 end release or very early 2017 release. The movie recently completed a schedule in Kannur, Kerala and is currently shooting in Ramoji Film City.
A..Aa Release Plan
Nithin and Trivikram’s A..Aa is currently in the last leg of its shoot. The entire film shoot is complete except for few scenes and couple of songs. The last schedule will begin from February 12th in Pollachi and the movie is being planned for April 22nd release.
Anirudh Ravichander walked out of the project midway due to some issues and Mickey J.Meyer is brought in his place. Earlier Senior art director Rajeevan also opted out of the film and AS Prakash was brought in to do the job.
Samantha and Anupama Parameshwaran are the heroines. Nithin will be seen as Anand Vihari while Samantha will be Anasuya Ramalingam in the film. Trivikram’s close friends, Harika and Haasini creations is producing this youthful entertainer.
Mahesh’s Mom To Play NTR’s Mom
After getting a phenomenal actor like Mohanlal to play his babai, Young Tiger NTR has now got a former heroine to play his mother in his next film Janatha Garage. Devayani, who is well known to Telugu audiences as Pawan Kalyan’s heroine in Suswagatham and Mahesh Babu’s mother in Nani, is all set to make her Tollywood comeback with Janatha Garage.
In the film, Devayani will be playing Mohanlal’s wife’s role and apparently, she plays a crucial role with substance in the film. Devayani’s last appearance on Tollywood silver screen was Mahesh’s Nani.
Even though the film released almost 11 years ago, Devayani’s role is still etched in the memory of Tollywood fans thanks to the super hit song, Pedave Palikina Maatallone. Devayani got married in 2001 and bid goodbye to films for a few years, before reappearing on Tamil TV circuit followed by a few films in Tamil and Malayalam.
KCR vows to turn Hyderabad into truly global city
Overwhelmed with the TRS party’s historic victory in GHMC elections, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has promised to turn Hyderabad into a truly global city while making GHMC a corruption-free corporation.
Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan on Friday night, the Chief Minister thanked all voters and said all the promises made in the TRS manifesto for GHMC elections and also the General Election 2014 would be fulfilled. He said people have assigned a major responsibility to TRS and its government in the State by giving it a landslide victory. He said it was the first time that a political party absolute majority in the municipal corporation. Therefore, he said that the TRS would leave no stone unturned to fulfil the aspirations of people.
The Chief Minister said it was the promise of 2BHK houses that played the magic in favour of TRS in GHMC elections. Therefore, he said adequate funds would be allocated in the next budget to construct one lakh units of 2BHK houses in the city. He said that the Finance Department has already been directed to prepare proposals for the same. He hoped that the construction of one lakh 2BHK units would be completed in the next one year. Further, he said the city would get two water reservoirs of about 40 TMC capacity. Three new hospitals will be established in different areas while existing Osmania, Gandhi and King Koti Hospitals would be upgraded. He said all six hospitals would be on par with other corporate hospitals where poor people would get free treatment, including diagnostics and surgeries.
Kcr said a power island would be established to ensure uninterrupted power supply in Greater Hyderabad. He said the image of “Hyderabad Never Sleeps” would be created on par with Mumbai. The promises of multi-level flyovers, skyways, signal free city, new market yards, graveyards, multi-purpose community halls, etc., would also be fulfilled. He said there would be no compromise on Law and Order and anyone breaking the law would be dealt with an iron hand irrespective of their position.
The Chief Minister defended his earlier decision to minimise the time period for holding civic polls. However, he said that the High Court orders were honoured and GHMC polls were held as per its directions. Similarly, he said there were some issues related to voting rights for ex-officio members. However, it holds no relevance now as TRS has sufficient numbers to elect its Mayor and Deputy Mayor.
Kcr sought the cooperation of all political parties to develop the city and said opposition leaders should play a constructive role. He said despite some sporadic incidents, the GHMC polls were very well managed elections. He said the decision on Mayor and Deputy Mayor candidates would be taken by a committee of city ministers.
Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali and other ministers were also present in the press conference.
Will Ram Charan to Recover ‘Shakthi’ Losses?

Aswini Dutt, however, produced a series flop ventures in new millennium except industry hit ‘Indra’ and hit film ‘Chirutha’. The producer’s last venture NTR’s ‘Shakthi’ got disaster result at the ticket windows and made the producer incurred with heavy losses. Ever since the movie’s release in 2011, no film has been made on Vyjayanthi Movies.
As we reported earlier, Mega Power Star Ram Charan is likely to give his nod for a couple of crazy projects soon. One of the movies will be produced by Aswini Dutt on Vyjayanthi Movies. Super successful young director Maruthi will helm the project. If at all the movie gets materialized, the losses of ‘Shakthi’ and other flop ventures of Aswini Dutt maybe recovered.
Tollywood Celebs Vote For TRS
The GHMC election results have been declared and TRS emerged victorious with a historic win. The pink brigade won 109 divisions, trouncing opposition to ashes. The party even pulled off a surprising victory in the wards that are primarily dominated by Andhra settlers.
Interestingly, TRS also clinched the prestigious Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills divisions with a huge majority. In Banjara Hills, TRS’ woman candidate Gadwala Vijaya Lakshmi won the contest while Kaja Suryanarayana registered an emphatic victory in Jubilee Hills division.
Most of the Tollywood celebrities, including several popular artistes and technicians, reside in the Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills areas, and looks like they all voted for TRS this time.
KTR and KCR maintaining close ties with the Tollywood celebs seems to have done the trick for the party. Apart from the film celebs, other celebs from business, corporate and other fields too have taken TRS’ side this time around.
KTR dedicates GHMC victory to KCR
Panchayat Raj Minister K. Tarakarama Rao has dedicated the victory of Telangana Rashtra Samithi in GHMC elections to Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.
Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan on Friday evening, Ktr, who led the TRS campaign in GHMC elections, said that people have voted in favour of TRS without getting carried away with the propaganda of opposition parties. With the success in GHMC elections, he said that the TRS victory has completed.
He said that the TRS would now focus on fulfilling all the promises that it made with the people. Ktr said that the State Government would continue to implement the welfare schemes launched by KCR. He said development of Hyderabad would be the sole agenda for TRS Government. He said TRS has emerged as an unbeatable political force in the State.
He refused to comment on challenges posed by opposition leaders on TRS winning 100 seats in GHMC elections. He said that the landslide victory has increased responsibilities of TRS and it would now focus only on development and not politics as no elections are round the corner.
AP Govt Special Love on ‘Hero’?

Awfully, For construction of Hero’s new production establishment, the officials have allegedly allotted sand reach in Alathur village of BN Kandriga Mandal in Chittor district.
According to these reports, they gave permission for mining of entire land, at the nominal fee of Rs 55 per cubic meter, which is far lesser than they what they charged from women groups, Rs 500 per cubic meter, for the same purpose of sand mining in the area.

Telugu Stars Not Interested Over Tamanna?
Milky beauty Tamanna Bhatia’s wait for a hit was accomplished with Baahubali. Apparently, she would have expected to get some biggies in Telugu, which is not happening.
Tamanna hasn’t signed a new Telugu film after Baahubali, except for Nagarjuna and Karthi starrer Oopiri. Shooting of this Vamsi Paidipally directing film is nearing completion and Tammu has recently finished her part of work. Now, she is work less in Telugu.
Meanwhile, Tamanna was seen dancing on a special song in today released Speedunnodu, but she signed the project long ago. Tamanna is also part of Baahubali 2, which she signed along with the first part.
Apparently, Telugu stars and filmmakers are not showing any interest to work with Tamanna who was paired with almost all top stars in Telugu including Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, Ram Charan, NTR etc.
On the flip side, Kajal Agarwal who also made her film entry almost at the same time with Tamanna is still doing some prestigious projects like Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Brahmotsavam in Telugu.
Nannaku Prematho: KTR Gifts Victory to KCR
During the GHMC elections, KCR’s son and Telangana state’s minister of IT and Panchayat Raj KTR played a crucial role in singlehandedly bringing the entire party onto a single track with his meticulous political acumen. The GHMC polls stood as a testing ground for KTR, who is expected to play a much bigger role in the party’s future.
During his election campaign, KTR relentlessly worked round the clock and campaigned across the nooks and corners of GHMC region. In the process, he even took on several stalwart opponents and even challenged to win the GHMC contest with more than 100 seats.
Today, TRS won the GHMC contest with more than 100 seats and a major credit is being given to KTR, as TRS’ cadres say that this victory is KTR’s sweet gift to his daddy KCR. However, KTR in turn humbly credited his father and Telangana CM KCR for this grand victory and said that it is only due to KCR’s nonbiased governance over the past 19 months that residents and settlers gave a thumping victory.
TRS scores landslide win in Greater Hyderabad polls
Hyderabad: The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) was heading for a landslide victory in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections as early results and trends indicated on Friday evening. The party had won or was leading in at least 100 divisions in 150-member municipal body, virtually wiping out main opposition Congress and the Telugu Desam Party-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP-TDP) alliance. Out of the results declared till 6 p.m., TRS bagged 50 seats and was leading in another 50 divisions. This means the TRS, which had not contested the GHMC elections in 2009, will have its own corporator as mayor.
The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) maintained its stranglehold in the old city of Hyderabad. It won 23 seats and was leading in another division. The BJP and its alliance partner TDP won a seat each. The Congress, which is the main opposition party in Telangana, also won a single seat. he counting of votes polled in Tuesday’s elections began at 3 p.m. but the results and trends were announced after 5 p.m. when repolling in one division concluded.
Counting of votes polled in 149 divisions began at 24 places in twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Elections held in all 150 divisions on Tuesday had recorded 45.27 percent turnout. According to GHMC, 33,60,543 voters out of the total electorate of 74,23,980 cast their votes. A re-poll in Puranapull division in the old city was ordered following complaints of rigging and incidents of violence.
This was the first GHMC election after the formation of separate Telangana state. The TRS had no representation in the previous body, where the Congress shared power with MIM after their victory in 2009 elections. In the first GHMC, Congress had 52 seats and MIM 43. TDP had bagged 45 seats while BJP had five corporators.
