Dimpled Dehradun beauty Lavanya Tripathi made her Tollywood debut with the 2012 romantic drama, Andhala Rakshasi. Lavanya charmed the viewers with her intense performance and gorgeous looks. Since then, the talented actress appeared in several movies in Telugu and Tamil but didn’t find a solid success.

However, Lavanya’s romantic comedy with Nani, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, turned out to be a surprising blockbuster of 2015 as it collected a whopping 25 crores. The slender beauty didn’t stop with this and immediately followed it up with yet another blockbuster with Nagarjuna’s Soggade Chinni Nayana this Sankranthi.

With two back-to-back blockbusters in hand, Lavanya is that one rare actress who is on the verge of a hat-trick. The actress’ con comedy thriller Lachchimdeviki O Lekkundi (LOL) is gearing up for a release on the 29th Jan.

Lavanya plays a crucial role in the film as the entire story revolves her. In the industry where it hardly takes one flop for an actress to be branded as an iron leg, Lavanya will surely be hailed as a golden leg, if she strikes a hat-trick with LOL.

Wonders will happen rarely. But risking money with a hope of wonders to happen repeatedly is more than committing a crime. Nani’s last film Bhale Bhale Magadivoy was a super hit in all the areas. Especially, in overseas the movie collected over 1 million dollars.

To cash on this sudden craze for Nani with the Maruthi directorial, distributors are daring to spend lavish amounts to acquire the actor’s forthcoming venture Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gaadha (KVPG). One of the key players in Nizam cinema business, Abhisjek Pictures has bought KVPG Nizam as well as AP rights by shelling out Rs 8.5 crores.

Even the producers of 14 Reels Entertainment might not have expected such fancy price when they announced the film as Nani’s BBM hadn’t released for then. It is also heard that, the film overseas rights also fetched huge sum for the producers.

Pixel Dreams has obtained KVPG overseas rights for whopping price of Rs 1 crore. For prints, publicity, release and other, it will cost almost half of this budget for overseas distributors. So, the Hanu Raghavapudi directorial should make 1.5 million dollars business for break even, which is not that easy.

One or two films can’t decide actor’s business stamina. Many top stars are still struggling to enter million dollar club, however Nani in special cases could reach the mark twice with Eega (because of Rajamouli) and BBM (non-competition, unlimited entertainment and huge promotions).

Apparently, the producers are expected to pocket table profits, much before the film’s release. But, distributors are gambling by betting big on the project.

Nagarjuna who is riding high with Soggade Chinni Nayana success is busy promoting his film to make it a biggest blockbuster in his career. The Manmadhudu star will next be seen in Vamsi Paidipally directing Oopiri in which Karthi is playing another lead role.

The film’s last schedule will begin soon and makers are planning to release Oopiri on March 25th on the eve of Good Friday. Oopiri has glamorous Tamanna Bhatia playing female lead, while Anushka, Nora Fatehi and South African model Gabriella Demetriades are roped in for cameo appearances.

Now, another glamorous diva is added to the PVP Cinemas production. Fading Out lady Shriya Saran is zeroed in for a crucial role. Nagarjuna and Shriya acted together in several super hits such as Santosham, Nenunnanu and Manam. Shriya was seen in a guest role in Nagarjuna’s Boss.

Now, the super hit pair is back with Oopiri. Nevertheless, it is uncertain what kind of role Shriya is portraying in the Telugu, Tamil bilingual drama film. Nagarjuna is playing toughest role in his life as a totally paralyzed person, which needs him to stay static while shooting his portions. The film is based on the French film The Intouchables.
