A week time is enough for star heroes’ films to bargain their extra share at Box Office. After enjoying those wonderful festive times with superb patronage from family audience towards all the four Sankranti movies, here comes one more week as bonus for them. However, it is hard for ‘Nannaku Prematho, Dictator’ to prevail their domination because sliding collections from Monday showed their pity state of commercial affair.

So, the focus would remain mainly on ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ which actually got very less number of opening screens than what are needed for a Nagarjuna movie. In fact, Nagarjuna understood the tough competition among Nandamuri heroes using and influencing every possible way in front of them in grabbing the maximum number of theaters.

Most probably, ‘NPT, Dictator’ are to dry up in next two or three days of time which means ‘SCN’ should have to be placed in many screens, at least on public demand. Meanwhile, ‘Express Raja’ might likely stick to its multiplexes and few main screens in AP, TS. Overall, the biggest beneficiary should be ‘Soggade.’

Nandamuri Balakrishna is not taking time to start his 100th project. The actor who is enjoying the success of Dictator has said to announce details of the landmark project in a week days. Balayya also informed that, he has given line story for Aditya 999 Max.

‘I narrated a line story to Singeetham Srinivasa Rao gaaru and told him to develop it. In fact, it won’t take much time for me to get an idea on story. It took just 5 minutes to cook up the story. When I narrated the story, Singeetham was stunned.’ However, Balakrishna clarified that he will get clarity on his 100th film in few days, whether it will be Aditya 999 Max or with Boyapati Srinu.

When asked whether his 100th movie will have space for his son Mokshagna, Balayya replied saying, ‘For now, I don’t exactly say, which project would I take up first. If things work out, Mokshagna would act in my next film, if not it would take some time for him to make entry into industry. I won’t give any suggestions for him regarding films. I only tell him to do as many as films in a calendar year.’

Balakrishna expressed his dislike over current generation stars for not taking up even two films a year. He promised to do at least 3 to 4 films in 2016.

As per the very early updates, this is again to create a mad rush on 29th of January with at least three movies scheduled to hit screens on same day.

If at all Vishal completes the Censor formalities as per plan, first film to stand in the queue would be ‘Kathakali’ alongside Raj Tharun’s ‘Seethamma Andalu Ramayya Sitralu’ and either of the dubbing releases ‘Kalavathi’ starring Trisha, Hansika Motwani and Poonam Bajwa or ‘Nenu Rowdy Ne’ from Nayanathara are also to standing fray.

Surprisingly, only Raj Tharun’s movie is a direct Telugu one while the remaining three are dubbed from Tamil to Telugu. Of course, this is too preliminary time to speculate on who is going to be in the race and who is going to miss. Let us wait for couple of more days.

Vishal’s Kathakali and Naga Shaurya’s Kalyana Vaibhogame which were to release this Friday got postponed. Kathakali was postponed to some time in February due to Censor issues while the makers of Kalyana Vaibhogame decided to postpone due to competition from Sankranthi releases and shortage of theaters.

Kathakali is yet to get a new release date in February while the makers of Kalyana Vaibhogame is being planned for February 5th. So the Sankranthi releases will make merry this weekend and Tuesday as it is a Republic day weekend.

Nannaku Prematho and Dictator which released in big number of theaters in their first week will release some of them for Express Raja and Soggade Chinni Nayana. As many as 150 theaters will be added to Soggade Chinni Nayana from tomorrow.

Who else other than Nagarjuna himself understands the best of characters which suit his age and current trend? ‘Manam, Soggade Chinni Nayana’ stood as classic examples on how good Nag is at picking the versatility. Instead of attempting on every subject and script that is floated on his table, Nagarjuna cleverly selects one among them analyzing the advantages, disadvantages and of course commercial viability too.

When K Raghavendra Rao came forward with the idea of doing one more mythological cum devotional film, something on the lines of ‘Annamayya’ and ‘Sri Ramadasu,’ there was no reason for Nagarjuna to say no. Yes, latest we hear is Nag signed a movie under KRR direction which deals with the story of Baba Hathi Ram Ji. Though an official confirmation is needed on this, the story sounds quite interesting.

Baba Hathiram is a staunch devotee of Lord Venkateshwara. Pleased by Hathiram, everyday Lord Balaji used to play dice with him. One day when God forgets his necklace at Hathiram’s place and returns to temple, the actual story begins. Hathiram Baba Math exists even today in Tirumala where his Samadhi is also seen. Audience, get ready for Tirumala-Tirupathi roundup with KRR and Nag.

The other day, we have seen several reports of Pawan Kalyan suddenly stopping the shoot of Sardaar Gabbar Singh and flying to Singapore for reasons best known to him. But the makers have clarified that there is no truth in that.

“#SardaarGabbarSingh Hyderabad schedule fast progressing and to continue till the end of the month. #PSPK keen on an early summer release,” Producer Sharrath Marar posted in his Twitter account.

Power fame Bobby is wielding megaphone for this film. Devi Sri Prasad will be composing music. Pawan Kalyan himself is the co-producer. Eros International had bagged the film even before the start of the shoot.

As far as the movie’s cast and crew are concerned, here are a couple of more good choices for Balakrishna. Anjali, who has done female lead in ‘Dictator’, will romance with Balakrishna in ‘Aditya 999’ as well. As we know, Anjali is not only a glamour heroine but also a good performer.

Also, Eros International and Sriwass, who acted as the producers of ‘Dictator’ will team up again to produce Balakrishna’s 100th. All in all, it appears a right team has been set for Balakrishna’s 100th film.

The substance and screen play of Young Tiger NTR’s ‘Naannaku Prematho’ made mega fans worried to some extent as the film appeared to have been inspired by Tamil blockbuster ‘Thani Oruvan’. Especially, hero and villain’s mind games, one or two crucial scenes made audience felt it was a freemake of ‘Thani Oruvan’. That’s why, the makers of the film were criticized by some observers.

Whatsoever, NTR appeared to have posed a sweet Challenge to Mega Power Star Ram Charan, by doing ‘Naannaku Prematho’. Obviously, suspense prevailed over if ‘Thani Oruvan’s remake would go on sets or not.

However, the makers of the Telugu remake have cleared the airs and announced the movie’s launch and its release dates. What more turned out to be interesting thing is that, ‘Thani Oruvan’s remake ‘Rakshak’ (tentative), will hit the screens on August 12, which exactly falls on the same day of release as in the case of NTR’s ‘Janatha Garage’.

While some people feel its a sweet retort from Ram Charan some more people felt it would be a healthy competition between ‘Rakshak’ and ‘Janatha Garage’. They also predict both the films would rock for sure as in the case of this Sankranthi, wherein good number of films are doing well.

Prince Mahesh and 14 Reels combo’s ‘Dookudu’ was one of the biggest hits in the actors career. Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta, who owned the banner, have later produced moives like ‘1-Nenokkadine’ and ‘Aagadu’ with Mahesh. Butt then, the movies failed at the box office. Meanwhile, Mahesh launched audio of the movie. Allari Naresh unveiled theatrical trailer. This audio launch event was held in Shilpakala Vedika amidst film’s star cast and many other celebs.

Ever since the release of ‘Bruce Lee’ no movie of Mega Power Star Ram Charan has gone to sets.Although there have been official reports that Ram Charan would be working for the remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Thani Oruvan’, the delay in the launch of the movie made fans going suspicious about the project.

Finally, the makers of Ram Charan’s next have taken a right decision in a right time announcing the movie’s launch and its release dates. It was revealed that the movie will be launched on February 16 and the release date has been locked to August 12.

It was a wise decision of the makers for confirming the release date of the movie on August 12. On the auspicious day of Varalakshmi Vratham, the movie hits the screens and it is followed by Second Saturday, Sunday and Independence Day. Besides, it will be a Rakhi festival on August 18.

Altogether, Ram Charan’s new film will enjoy a dream run in the first week of its release with huge mega openings and several public holidays were set in the calendar.
