It is more or less confirmed that Aditya 999, the sequel for Balakrishna’s classic film, Aditya 369 will be the prestigious 100th film of the actor. In one of the interviews, the actor confirmed that Aditya 999 is his own story.

Singeetham Srinivasa Rao will be wielding megaphone for the sequel project as well. The veteran director’s recent form is not that great and it is a major cause of worry for Nandamuri fans now.

It is also said that Balayya promised Anjali to give a role in the prestigious project. More details of this project will be revealed after Balakrishna completes the promotions of his Dictator. Stay tuned.

Mass Maharaja Raviteja’s next project, Yevado Okadu was announced a long ago and the shooting was to begin in November. But the project did not begin till date. Now they say the project is shelved all together.

According to the rumour mills, Raviteja is demanding 8 Crore remuneration for the film but Dil Raju is not ready to shell that amount as he feels it is too high for the actor’s market now.

Hurt over this, Raviteja reportedly shelved the project and headed to his next film, Robinhood. A new comer will be directing this film. Damodhar Prasad will be producing the film under his Sri Ranjith Movies banner.

The makers of Naga Chaitanya’s Majnu, the working title of Premam Remake, have finalized the third heroine in their film. Shruti Hassan and Anupama Parameshwaran are already confirmed as two heroines.

Madonna Sebastian who appeared in Premam in the role of Celine will reprise the same role in Majnu. Chaitanya will be seen as Vikram in the film while Shruti Hassan will be seen as Sitara in the movie.

The makers are planning to complete the entire shoot non-stop and release the film in June/July. Karthikeya fame Chandoo Mondeti is wielding megaphone for this remake film. Buzz is that Nagarjuna will be seen in a little cameo while Victory Venkatesh will play the hero’s father in the movie. More details of this project later.

Young Tiger NTR’s next film, Janatha Garage will go on floors on February 8th/10th. The makers are getting a huge set erected for the movie at Saradhi Studios for this purpose. Art director AS Prakash is supervising the set construction.

The shooting will begin with the shooting of the Flashback sequences with Mohanlal first. NTR will be joining the shoot in the second schedule. The makers are considering Janatha Garage (with a tagline – Ikkada Anni Repairlu Cheyyabadunu) as the title of the film even though they did not announce it officially.

They are planning to release the movie on August 12th, 2016. The release date working in the movie’s favour as there is a long weekend holiday due to Independence day holiday on Monday.

Mytri Film Makers who turned producers with Srimanthudu will be producing this film as well. Yerineni Naveen, Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar (Thammudu) and CVM (Mohan) are the producers. Devi Sri Prasad will be composing music as Koratala’s previous films – Mirchi and Srimanthudu.

‘Nannaku Prematho’ is one more intelligently weaved father-son emotional bonding film from director Sukumar paving its way to commercially success shores. While some section of audience might have doubted on why is Sukumar moving away from B, C centre audience by incorporating too many class elements touching science, mathematics and other academics based subjects.

‘I never had that doubtful thought crept into my mind while working for ‘Nannaku Prematho.’ Actually, I was a bit afraid during the production of ‘1 Nenokkadine’ and my worst scares came true when B, C centre audience really did not understand this film. In contrast, I know that father-son bonding in ‘Nannaku Prematho’ would be surely an equal emotional connect for top class and B, C audience. That is the reason why I worked for this project without any prior apprehensions,’ Sukumar replied.

‘Nannaku Prematho’ stood as clear winner within the first week by entering into 40 Crores club and also becoming highest grossing first week film in NTR’s career. That’s the crystal clear verdict in favor of Sukumar and Tarak.

Balakrishna has a very good habit of developing healthy friendship bond with all those directors, producers, heroines and other artists, technicians whom he works with as a part of shooting. For example, heroine Nayanathara and Sonal Chauhan or directors like B Gopal, Bopyapati and Singeetam are seen praising Balayya for his humanly, down to earth nature which made him win many well-wishers.

This time, Anjali appears to be the latest addition. If reports are to be believed, Balakrishna promised Anjali to give one more heroine chance in his milestone 100th film ‘Aditya 999’ to be directed by Singeetam Srinivas Rao. All this has reportedly happened during their foreign schedule of ‘Dictator’ song shoot. Alone Singeetam knows whether Anjali fits into the character or not but Balayya has to surely honor the promise.

Off late, Anjali started to get more focused on attracting star heroes instead of repeating those regular performance dominated characters in half commercial projects. Balakrishna is the first one to give her a break with ‘Dictator’ after doing couple of movies like ‘SVSC’ and ‘Masala’ with Venkatesh. Fearful Krishnagadu turns brave for Mahalakshmi’s love and it all begins when he decides to dare his life for his love. Nani tranforms into Krishnagadu with his massy young chap look and a complete contrast from his look in last film Bhale Bhale Magadivoy.

The big ‘Jai Balayya’ tattoo on his hand needs a mention, as it was considered the title of the film earlier. But to our biggest surprise, trailer runs out till end and takes Balayya name nowhere. Only Krishnagadu knows what Balayya is doing on his hand! Heroine Mehr Perzada looks promising in Mahalalakshi’s role and her looks matching to that of Kajal seems more interesting.

Krishnagadu and Mahalakshmi’s love story is as cute as it can be. Here comes the actual part, where Krishnagadi love story is brave enough to make it an epic one. 15 years wait, 4 Wheels, 3 kids and Jai Veeranjaneya with Krishnagadu waging war against unknown for Mahalakshmi’s love must be taking us to feel the peaks of entertainment.

Vintage car, satires with kids, glimpses of ‘Prabhas’ Seenu and Pruthvi as Jamadagni, beautiful heroine shows the funny side, whereas Sampath Raj, car chases, guns and Cars with Rayalaseema Number plates introduce us to action pack.

This time, director Hanu Raghavapudi chooses the opposite of his previous film genre, Andala Rakshasi. Nani too is pretty confident from the day of this film announced. Trailer comes to end in not time and does not give a chance to blink anywhere, but gives no clue of what’s going on. As Krishnagadu says, its not a story to be told in 2 minutes, its an epic. Wait for its release!

For a sensitive filmmaker who beautifully captures love scenes on the silver screen, it is not surprising that Sukumar too has a love story of his own. In his latest interview following the success of Nannaku Prematho, Sukumar went nostalgic about his love story which later ended up in a happy marriage.

During the release of his debut film Aarya in 2004, Sukumar was at Sudarshan Theater at RTC X Roads and a young girl from nowhere approached Sukumar upon knowing from her friends that he was the director of the film.

She asked him what was his job on the film since all the work was done by the technicians and actors. This unexpected question surely hurt Sukumar, who patiently explained her the challenging role of a director in making a film. Impressed, the girl asked for his autograph.

Instead, a cheeky Sukumar gave her his mobile number asking her to keep in touch. Needless to say, love blossomed between them in no time. Sukumar further revealed that he married the same girl, Hamsini, in 2009 much against her parent’s wish.

Apparently, her parents, who didn’t want the groom from film industry, were fine with Sukumar after marriage. The couple is blessed with two children, a girl and a boy.

Ofcourse in a positive way! Nani starts off his speech at Krishnagadi veera prema Gaadha thanking Mahesh babu for making the movie even more special with his presence.

On a funny side, Nani reveals why he was afraid of Hanu Raghavapudi before making this film, as the director would make his characters deliver their every dialogue in shout, like he did for Andala Rakshasi.

But concluding the same remark, Nani says Krishnagadi Veera Prema Gaadha is a complete shocking contrast of Andala Rakshasi. Praising the knowledge and workaholic nature of Hanu, Nani fondly calls him as ‘Pani Pichodu’, who never even cares of bleeding injuries during the shoot. But now, Hanu is more like a brother to Nani.

Yesteryear top heroes Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna are coming up with their respective milestone projects this year. While Balakrishna announced his 100th film as Aditya 999 under Singeetham Srinivas direction, Chiranjeevi will be working with mass director VV Vinayak for Kaththi remake. Obviously, fans of both these stars are somewhat unhappy over the projects.

While it was Balayya’s mistake of picking Singeetham for his 100th, Chiru also did the same mistake by choosing Kaththi remake for his milestone project. Buzz would be much higher on these projects if Balayya’s would be made with a mass subject by any young successful director and Chiru had picked a new subject.

Aditya 999 is sequel to yesteryear super hit Aditya 369. Although with rich production values, the socio fantasy would appear prolific, but fans are expecting a pakka commercial film from Balayya.

Not just Boyapati, Balayya has many other options, still he is giving the big task to Singeetham for whom it is tough job to showcase Balayya in powerful role for which fans are dreaming for. On the flip side, Chiranjeevi who acted in all kinds of subjects should have chosen a new subject for his next.

Few talented writers and young directors are willing to take part in the venture, although Chiru settled to do Kaththi remake. Problems with remakes is, today audience are watching other language films too and are rejecting if remakes are made without big changes to suit Telugu sensibilities.

Gabbar Singh was big hit, since Harish Shankar made enough changes to the script. Let’s wait and see whether Singeetham and Vinayak would please Chiru and Balayya fans or not!

Fresh from the grand success of his Sankranthi release Soggade Chinni Nayana, Nagarjuna is already gearing up for his next film, a devotional film tentatively titled Om Namo Venkatesaya on Lord Vishnu in K Raghavendra Rao’s direction. The film will begin in February.

Incidentally, this is the 10th time that Nag and KRR will be joining hands for a film. Earlier, the super hit combo together gave commercial potboilers like Janaki Ramudu, Akhari Poratam and Gharana Bullodu etc.

However, the duo changed its tracks and gave a string of devotional classics like Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu and Shirdi Sai etc. Ever since he reinvented himself with Manam, Nag has been totally experimenting with his films and his roles, which are completely different from one another.

Unlike many other stars who are still stuck into monotonous hero roles, this is indeed a blessing for Nag as he has reached a stage in his career that he has nothing to worry about his stardom.

At this age and after immense experience, Nag’s smartness in his story selection and penchant for trying out new genres is indeed praiseworthy. Interestingly, Nag’s contemporary star Victory Venkatesh, Ego bid adieu to formulaic find, has also been choosing similar content driven films and is tasting success.
