Mohanlal escapes a major accident!
Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal escaped a major accident on Thursday. The car he is travelling met with an accident at Malayattur in Kerala as it hit a tipper coming fast. Mohanlal did not sustain any injuries in this accident.
This happened while he is travelling to the shooting spot of his Puli Murugan movie. This will come as a huge relief to the makers of Telugu movies, Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s Manamantha and NTR’s Janatha Garage as he is playing crucial roles in both the films.
Mohanlal also appointed a tutor and is learning Telugu so that he can dub on his own for his characters in both the films. Janatha Garage shooting will begin with Mohanlal episodes in February second week.
Superb business for Babu Bangaram
Victory Venkatesh’s next, Babu Bangaram (Working Title) in the direction of Maruthi is seeing superb business. The Uttarandhra rights of the movie were picked up by Bharath Pictures for a fancy amount.
And now, Major Overseas distributor, Blue Sky Cinemas picked up the Overseas rights of the film for a good 2.25 Crore. This is the highest ever for Venkatesh Solo movie. The movie shooting is progressing at brisk pace and it is planned for May release.
Nayantara is pairing up with Venkatesh in the film. Ghibran who composed music for Gopichand’s Jil will be composing tunes for this movie. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi is producing the film under his Sitara Entertainments banner.
Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo Audio Release date
Naga Chaitanya’s Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo will have its audio launch on February 5th. The movie shooting is all done except for the climax of the movie. The makers are targeting April release for the movie. The two teasers released so far have got very good response from all quarters.
They say Daggubati Rana is playing a little cameo in Naga Chaitanya’s next, Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo directed by Gautam Menon. The movie is a bilingual and the Tamil version has Simbu playing the lead role.
Malayali girl Manjima Mohan is playing the female lead in both the versions. Ravindra Reddy is producing the film in Telugu under his Dwaraka Creations banner while Kona Venkat is co-producing it. World famous AR Rahman is the music composer.

Anam To Act In Balayya’s 100th film?
The latest buzz in Tollywood’s grapevine is that Anam Vivekananda Reddy, one of the most flamboyant and showy politicians in the Telugu states, will make his silver screen debut with Nandamuri Balakrishna’s landmark 100th film.
Recently, Anam made a dramatic entry into TDP by styling his moustache just like Balayya’s Simha’s look. Many wondered if this firebrand politician is trying to woo Balayya for a film chance. Apparently, Balayya, who is good friends with Anam, has promised him a special role in his most awaited film.
In the past too, there were reports that Chiru also promised Anam a powerful cameo in his 100th film, but with Anam giving a ‘hand’ to Congress, Chiru is in double minds about his promise. All said and done, Anam’s zeal for acting is indeed amusing.
