If the buzz surrounding the Tollywood’s most eagerly awaited film Sardaar Gabbar Singh turns out to be true, fans of Pawan Kalyan and Allu Arjun are in for a huge treat this summer. Over the past few days, there have been rumors that Allu Arjun’s little son Ayaan will be appearing in Pawan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh.

Tollywood’s gossipmongers have been abuzz with the news that in a crucial scene in Sardaar, Pawan rescues Ayaan from a danger and that the scene has been shot already. And since yesterday, an amusing photograph, reportedly of the little Ayaan playing in Pawan’s lap on Sardaar’s location, is being shared enthusiastically on the world wide web by fans of both the stars.

While Ayaan’s face not seen clearly in the photograph is leading to a slight uncertainty, fans are gung ho about little Bunny’s silver screen debut with Sardaar. Allu Ayaan is already quite popular among the Mega fans as his cute photographs often make a huge splash on the internet.

Senior actor Brahmanandam has been an undisputed King of Comedy in Tollywood. The veteran actor literally carried several star heroes’ films on his shoulders. However, those glorious days are gone for the legendary comedian.

With several young and senior comedians finally getting their long awaited due in Tollywood with Brahmi’s poor form, it will be interesting to see if Brahmi will change his strategy to bounce back.

Just a day after the release of Dictator, the film’s hero and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna wrapped up all the post-release promotional formalities and left for AP CM and his Viyyankudu Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s native village Naravaripalle to celebrate Sankranthi along with his family members and grandson Devaansh.

Balayya’s visit kicked off a huge fans and media frenzy with the ongoing reports of Balayya being considered for a central cabinet post with the BJP government expanding its cabinet. When asked about the same by the media personnel, Balayya said that he is quite happy with whatever he has at the moment.

The Hindupur MLA also said that CM Chandrababu will take the final call about his cabinet position. Balayya further said that his Hindupur constituency still has several pending issues and that his immediate mission is to resolve them at the earliest.

Popular Film writer and Rajamouli’s father, Vijayendra Prasad got the prestigious Filmfare award. This is for being the story writer of Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Baiijjaan. The film is all about how a Hindu devout helps a Muslim Pakistani girl go to her native in the neighbouring country.

The film struck chord with Bollywood audience and it went on to become a blockbuster. Vijayendra Prasad was voted for this prestigious award through an online poll and the verdict of the Special Jury. He is also likely to sweep all awards in Telugu for his story of Baahubali.

Vijayendra Prasad is currently working on a sex comedy film in Bollywood. He is also directing a thriller film in Tollywood starring all new comers. This is his second directorial after Rajanna. The directorial debut is a big flop back then. So 2016 is also going to be eventful for Vijayendra Prasad.

Sukumar has made ‘Naannaku Prematho’ as the movie of intellectuals. The director has inducted principles, concepts and theorems of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, logical and lateral thinking in the movie. Altogether the movie turned a bit confusing for common audiences.

However, highly educated people have embraced the film and are backing it to the core. A letter written by one of such fans, shown above, is doing round on social media. Interestingly, the fan too wrote the letter in Sukumar’s style incorporating various concepts of Science.

‘Naannaku Prematho’ has Rakul Preet Singh in lead actress role. The movie has its music scored by Devi Sri Prasad. BVSN Prasad has produced the movie on Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra. The movie collected a share of Rs.16.21 crores share at the end of its two days in AP and Telangana.

In a never seen manner four crazy projects hit the screens this Sankranthi. Fortunately, none of the movies got disaster talk and it could be termed as a racy start for Tollywood this year. However, exact fate of the movies will be decided by next week. Let’s have a look at the current statuses of Sankranthi movies. ‘Naannaku Prematho’ was off with mixed reports. Considering the first and second day collections, the film stands next to ‘Baahubali’, ‘Srimanthudu’ and ‘Bruce Lee’. The collections are decent in India and are good at Overseas.

‘Dictator’ stands the second biggest opener among Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna’s films next to ‘Legend’. ‘Dictator’ collected Rs.5.80 crores on day one while ‘Legend’ collected around Rs.7 crores. Having been made with a shoestring budget of just Rs.7 crores, ‘Express Raja’ has reportedly recovered more than half its investments so far. The movie gets profits by the end of this weekend. As such, the movie can get the credit of the first winner of this season.

After a long gap, King Nagarjuna’s film got unanimous positive talk as a solo hero with ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’. The movie opened with packed houses, overloads and heavy returns. The movie is expected to stand as the season’s biggest blockbuster. Let’s wait for more days to know the exact status of the movie at the ticket windows. It is being heard that all the four movies have done great business on the day of Sankranthi and the momentum will be continued till Sunday.

King Nagarjunas ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ hit the theaters today and received positive reports from all corners. The movie is expected to be the clear winner of this season. Meanwhile, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s song reference was seen in one of the scenes of the movie. Some goons in the movie dance for ‘Bangaru Kodipetta’ song in a hilarious scene. There were whistles from the audiences when the rowdies were dancing for the song.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi’s reference was also seen in Sharwanand’s latest hit ‘Express Raja’. Comedian Shakalaka Shankar taps his feet on a stage for Chiranjeevi’s ‘Abbanee thiyyanee debba’ song. The actor was also seen in Chiranjeevi’s getup.

‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ has been directed by debutant Kalyan Krishna. Ramya Krishna and Lavanya Tripathi have paired up with Nagarjuna in this family entertainer. Anup Rubens has composed the music of the movie. Nagarjuna has produced the movie on Annapurna Studios.

Dictator had registered a good day one total. The movie had amassed 5.79 Crore share only from both the Telugu states which is the second biggest total in the actor’s career after Legend. It is slightly higher than that of Lion’s first day total.

The movie is carrying not so good talk but is sustaining with fesival advantage. It is performing well in Balayya’s core strength areas. It has to be seen how it sustains in the rest of the festival season.

Amidst three big releases ‘Naannaku Prematho’, ‘Dictator’ and ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, Sharwanand’s youthful comedy entertainer ‘Express Raja’ was released with moderate expectations among the audiences for this Sankranthi.

The first day’s collections of the movie were said to be decent. However, positive word of mouth worked out a big time as the movie reportedly got full houses in all major cities and towns of Telugu states for morning shows today. Incidentally, other big releases of the same season recorded little drops on today’s morning shows. Understandably, ‘Word of Mouth’ has turned a weapon for ‘Express Raja’ to take on other big ticket entertainers of this Pongal.

Surabhi played the romantic interesting of Sharwanand in this movie. The movie’s music has been scored by Praveen Lakkaraju. Merlapaka Gandhi has directed this movie on UV Creations. Pramod and Vamsi Krishna are the producers.

Prince Mahesh’s ‘Brahmotsavam’ is on sets at the moment. As we know, Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha and Pranitha have been roped in as the female leads of this crazy project. Buzz is that Samantha, who has been busy with her previous commitments in Kollywood, maybe replaced by Rakul Preet Singh. However, there is no official info from the makers about this change.

‘Brahmotsavam’ is being directed by Srikanth Addala, who earlier directed super hit film ‘Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’. Micky J Meyer has composed the music of the movie.

‘Brahmotsavam’ is being contemplated for release on April 29 as a summer gift to fans. The movie is being produced by Prasad V Potluri on PVP Cinema. Mahesh acts as the co-producer of the movie.

Young Tiger Jr NTR’s Nannaku Prematho has opened well everywhere and the actor is taking no long time to start his next project- Janatha Garage. The film to be directed by Koratala Siva will go on floors from February 10th, but NTR will join the shoot after one week. Another news we heard from reliable sources is August 12th is tentative release date of the movie.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nithya Menon are two leading ladies in the film, while Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is roped in for a crucial role. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director of this movie and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is editor. Thiru who had worked for many prestigious projects like Krrish 3 is working as the Cinematographer.

A huge set will be erected at Saradhi Studios under the supervision of the Art Director AS Prakash to shoot the first schedule which will last for 45 days, and NTR, Mohanlal and Samantha will shoot portions in this set.

Janatha Garage is going to be a commercial entertainer, like Koratala Siva’s previous films. Expectations are quite high on this project, even much before the film started rolling, because Siva is making only hits, that too with star heroes. His maiden venture Mirchi with Prabhas was a blockbuster and his second movie Srimanthudu that starred Mahesh Babu ended as second biggest grosser in TFI.
