Oli, Modi discuss political situation in Nepal
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday emphasised the importance of finding a durable solution based on consensus to Nepal’s political problems during a telephonic conversation with his Nepalese counterpart K.P. Oli. Mr. Oli called up Mr. Modi and briefed him on the political developments in his country, days after the Nepalese Cabinet decided to amend the Constitution to address keys demands of Madhesis, largely of Indian-origin, from the country’s Terai region over proportional representation and constituency delimitation.
“Prime Minister emphasised the importance of finding a durable solution to the political problems facing Nepal based on consensus or ‘sahmati’,” an External Affairs Ministry release in New Delhi said, adding that Mr. Oli “briefed him on the political developments in Nepal.” According to the Nepalese premier’s press advisor Pramod Dahal, during the 20-minute conversation, Mr. Modi invited Mr. Oli to visit India. Mr. Oli accepted the invitation and said he will pay an official visit to India soon after the situation is normalised, Mr. Dahal said.
Mr. Modi also extended his good wishes to the friendly people of Nepal for the New Year 2016. Mr. Oli would visit India before undertaking his trip to China, which was earlier supposed to be his maiden visit overseas, sources in the Nepal government said. Raxaul-Birgunj check-point During the talk, the two leaders also discussed matters relating to improving relations between Nepal and India, Mr. Dahal said. Mr. Oli said he wanted to see Nepal-India relations move towards a positive direction while also drawing Mr. Modi’s attention towards the obstructions prevailing in the Nepal-India border check-points, according to Mr. Dahal.
He requested Mr. Modi to make arrangements for smoothening the Raxaul-Birgunj check-point, the major trading point between the two countries. In response, Mr. Modi said he was always in favour of easing Indo-Nepal border trading points and asserted that India was not creating any obstructions in the movement in the border checkpoint, Mr. Oli’s Press Advisor added. Mr. Modi told Mr. Oli that all the border points except the Raxaul-Birgunj check-point are operating in a normal way and the obstructions were created in the Raxaul-Birgunj point due to continued protests by the agitating Madhesi parties, according to Mr. Dahal.
Mr. Modi also recalled that he had instructed the External Affairs Minister to ensure that medicines reach Nepal through airlifting to avoid their scarcity due to agitations there. The two Prime Ministers also discussed issues relating to bilateral interest on the occasion.
Trump calls Bill Clinton ‘one of the great abusers’
United States Republican Presidential frontrunner Donald Trump has blamed Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton of starting a war of words by calling him sexist as he accused her husband, former President Bill Clinton, to be “one of the great abusers of the world.”
Mr. Trump again invoked the ex-President’s alleged extramarital affairs and accused Mr. Clinton of engaging in “tremendous abuse” of women. “And [Hillary] wants to accuse me of things. And the husband is one of the great abusers of the world. Give me a break. Give me a break. Give me a break,” Mr. Trump said, during an election campaign event in South Carolina.
Dismisses Hillary’s accusation Dismissing Ms. Clinton’s accusation that Mr. Trump himself engaged in sexism, the real estate magnate said: “She came out saying [Trump] has a ‘penchant for sexism’.. now she is playing with that card. I had no choice, but I had to mention her husband’s situation,” Mr. Trump said. A day earlier, Mr. Trump told reporters that he would be raising Ms. Clinton’s past during the election campaign. “Hillary brought up the whole thing with [calling me] sexist,” he said.
“She’s got a major problem [that] happens to be right in her own house. We’ll go after the ex-President…it’ll come out well for us,” he said, referring to the comments made by the Democratic Presidential candidate earlier. You have to hit back hard “You have to hit back hard, and you can’t let them push you around,” Mr. Trump told about 2,000 cheering supporters.
Mr. Trump alleged that it was Ms. Hillary who first started this rivalry. “You know, in the debate I was mentioned nine times, I mean everything. All of them. But her. I was mentioned nine times, none of the other candidates were mentioned. And then she came out with the sexism, which is so nonsense. But she’s playing that card,” he alleged. Meanwhile, Mr. Clinton in an e-mail asked his supporters to raise money for his wife.
Hillary is smart as a whip: Bill “I’ve known Hillary for over 40 years. She is smart as a whip, tenacious, dedicated, and more qualified than anyone else to protect and build on the progress President Obama’s made,” he wrote in an email.
New organic flow battery for low-cost energy storage
Washington: Scientists have developed a new organic aqueous flow battery that offers low-cost energy storage and will be cheaper than such existing batteries. The battery is expected to cost USD 180 per kilowatt-hour—60 per cent less than today’s standard flow batteries—once the technology is fully developed. The lower cost is due to the battery’s active materials being inexpensive organic molecules, compared to the commodity metals used in today’s flow batteries.
“Moving from transition metal elements to synthesised molecules is a significant advancement because it links battery costs to manufacturing rather than commodity metals pricing,” said Imre Gyuk, energy storage programme manager for the US Department of Energy’s Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability (OE). “The battery’s water-based liquid electrolytes are alsodesigned to be a drop-in replacement for current flow batterysystems,” said Wei Wang, a materials scientist Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL).
“Current flow battery owners can keep their existing infrastructure, drain their more expensive electrolytes and replace them with PNNL’s electrolytes,” Wang said. Flow batteries generate power by pumping liquids from external tanks into a central stack. The tanks contain liquid electrolytes that store energy. Solid batteries, such as the lithium-ion batteries carry much more energy in a smaller space, making them ideal for mobile uses.
However issues with performance, safety and lifespan can limit the technology’s use for stationary energy storage. Flow batteries store their active chemicals separately until power is needed, greatly reducing safety concerns. The new flow battery features two main electrolytes—amethyl viologen anolyte (negative electrolyte) and a4-hydroxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-1-oxyl, or 4-HO—TEMPO catholyte (positive electrolyte).
A third, supporting electrolyte carries sodium chloride, whose chloride ions enable the battery to discharge electricity by shuffling electrons in the central stack. “Using readily available materials makes our all-organic aqueous flow battery more sustainable and environmentally friendly. As a result, it can also make the renewable energy it stores and the power grid it supports greener,” Wang said.
To test the new battery design, Wang and his colleagues created a small, 600-milliwatt battery on a lab counter top. They repeatedly charged and then discharged the battery at various electric current densities, ranging from 20 to 100milliAmperes per square centimetre. The test battery’s optimal performance was between 40 and50 milliAmperes per square centimetre, where about 70 per cent of the battery’s original voltage was retained.
They also found the battery continued to operate well beyond 100 cycles. The research was published in the journal Advanced Energy Materials.

Hit Talk Will Prove Ram’s Stamina
Since his debut more than a decade ago, Energetic Star Ram earned a wide fan base for his ultra energetic performances. With the blockbuster films like Ready and Kandireega, Ram stunned the trade pundits with his box-office stamina. However, the young actor has been maintaining a low phase since Kandireega with most of his releases biting the dust miserably.

Nenu Sailaja promotions have already created a lot of positive buzz and if the film succeeds in living up to the buzz, no doubt that Ram will bounce back to his lost glory with a solid hit.

Akkineni Heroes Flop Spree in 2015
None of the Akkineni Heroes has created any impact at the Tollywood’s box office in 2015. This can be a forgettable year for Akkineni Heroes. Yet, the year has acknowledged the debut of another hero from Akkineni family, Akhil, who looks promising as a hero.
No movies of King Nagarjuna were released this year. He was seen in cameo roles in ‘Dongata’, ‘Akhil’ and ‘Size Zero’. With his dismay, all the movies were failed at the box office. On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Dohchay’, which has made as a crime comedy, scored a disaster. And lastly, Akkineni Akhil’s ‘Akhil’ showed the worst performance at the box office and the movie was touted as the year’s biggest flop.
Irrespective of their poor performance in 2015, Akkineni Heroes seem to be showing their power at the Tollywood’s box office in 2016. Nagarjuna’s ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ and ‘Oopiri’, Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo’ and ‘Majnu’ look promising and likely to be super hits in 2016.
Kalyan Ram To Go Off The Screen
Having lost enough money both as a producer and hero, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is just supporting his brother Jr NTR’s cinema career and father Hari Krishna’s political career rather than burning hands again and again in films. Inner sources say, ‘Sher’ left NKR in true disappointment and ‘Kick 2’ failure is a big upset for him on financial front.
So, NKR is trying to remain silent concentrating on their other hereditary family business without paying much of attention on what’s happening around film industry. Of course, Kalyan Ram is one of those first persons who had complete idea on ‘Nannaku Prematho’ from day one the project is initiated and this is the reason why he was able to speak promptly about few scenes in movie which he appreciated a lot.
It’s a good decision on the part of Kalyan Ram to take a break from production and acting. Better he wait for a subject like ‘Pataas’ or ‘Athanokkade’ come on his way and till then it is left for Jr NTR to bat in the centre taking the complete pressure.

Anti Fans Making Mega Heroes Ultimate Stars!
There are several indicators to measure the exact status of a hero. Consistency in hits,, maximum hit percentage, opening collections, industry hits, super craze among children are some among them. However, there is one more indicator that exactly assesses the range of a hero. According to this indicator, fans of all heroes should criticize another big star out of jealousy. In other words, a number one hero should possess a maximum number of Anti Fans. Megastar Chiranjeei, Power Star Pawan Kalyan and present generation’s Mega Power Star Ram Charan appear to have got such kind of Anti Fans mentioned above. Check out the analysis.
CHIRANJEEVI
When Chiranjeevi was ruling the roost, fans of other heroes would unite and unanimously criticized Chiranjeevi. In contrast, there were common fans to other big heroes. These fans liked either two or three big stars other than Chiranjeevi then.
PAWAN KALYAN
Until Pawan Kalyan launched ‘Janasena’ political party and extended support to the TDP, he was also criticized by all other heroes’ fans. However, Pawan’s support to the TDP, changed the calculations. Some of the Anti Fans turned out to be the fans of Pawan Kalyan now. It’s also being witnessed that some of the Anti Fans who feel insecure about their heroes’ statuses are comparing their heroes with Pawan Kalyan and are desperately trying to degrade some other young and talented heroes.
RAM CHARAN
Chiranjeevi’s legacy was continued by Pawan Kalyan successfully. And now, Ram Charan has also appeared to take the legacy to two to three more decades further with his maximum number of hits. This factor reportedly worried Anti Fans as such they tried their best to degrade Ram Charan. It remains to be seen whether the sentiment Anti Fans hatred sentiment works out for Ram Charan or not.
