Nayanatara is arguably the number one actress in Tamil cinema at the moment. She is doing films with the current superstars and young heroes as well.
Usually heroines don’t work with young heroes that don’t have huge following but Nayan doesn’t mind working with anybody.
Why is Nayanatara opting to work with young heroes when she could get to work with any superstar at any given point of time? Well there is one secret behind Nayanatara’s choice of movies it seems.
As per the buzz from Kollywood circles Nayanatara only gets around 1 crore to work with superstar heroes.
She will get anywhere around 2 to 3 crore per film if she teams up with a young hero. She will be the ultimate crowd puller and star attraction for that film as the hero doesn’t have so much crowd pulling capabilities.
So she charges heavily for such films and the producers are happy to pay as per Nayan’s demand as her track record speaks for itself.

He is so important that even the district’s top officials are consulting him before finalising Deputy Chief Minister’s tour.
He is brother of the senior Minister. He has no post or position of power, but the administration of this Rayalaseema district kowtows before him. When he visits any area, the officials treat him like a Minister and throw protocol to winds.
Such is the power of this man that he recently got a principled police officer transferred just because he tried to work independently.
Caste Equations Key To Selection Of Amaravathi: JC
Count on JC Diwakar Reddy to make cheeky comments. This time around, he again made key comments.
In an interview to a media organization, he said the place of AP’s capital was selected due to caste considerations.
Otherwise, the government could have taken into account the recommendations of the Sivaramakrishnan Committee constituted by the Centre, he said and added that while we need a capital city to reduce our dependence on Hyderabad, the present capital area was zeroed in due to caste considerations.
This is a significant comment coming as it is from a Reddy politician from Rayalaseema who belongs to a political party, that is seen as being close to Kammas.
Vishal T Shirts Say He Is Eyeing Politics
Film stars have plunged headlong into the relief and rehabilitation works in flood-ravaged Chennai. They initially donated money and material and have now come forward to physically work among the flood-hit people.
Many stars are wading knee deep water to reach out to the victims From Karthi, Dhanush, Siddharth to Illayaraja and Khusbu have toured the affected areas and did whatever they could.
Hero Vishal, who recently played a key part in the Nadigar Sangham elections, too did the same.
But, he has become the talk of the town as he has distributed T shirts with his photo among the victims. The volunteers who worked with him, gave those T shirts to the flood hit people.
It is now clear that Vishal has political ambitions. He wants to make his mark in Tamil politics and is seeking publicity for his work.
In fact, even during the Nadigar Sangham elections, where as the key member of Nazar’s panel, he played an active role and defeated Sarat Kumar panel.
It was then rumoured that Vishal has political aspirations and would join the political bandwagon in due course of time.
The T Shirts with his image have lent strength to these rumours. Is this actor from Telugu background doing all these with an eye on future in Tamil politics. Watch this space for further development on this front.
KCR to visits Naidu’s house in Hyd today!
Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao will visit the residence of AP Chief Minister N.Chandrababu to invite him for Aayutha Maha Chandi Yagam being performed by him at his farmhouse in Erravelli on city outskirts from December 23 to 27.
KCR is expected to visit Naidu’s house either on Sunday or Monday depending on the appointment of Mr Naidu. Telangana CM’s office already sought an appointment of Mr Naidu.
KCR already invited President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the yagam for which elaborate arrangements are being made by spending nearly Rs 50 crore.
KCR’s invite is in reciprocation for Naidu’s invite, when Naidu personally visited KCR’s camp office/ residence in Begumpet in October to invite him for Amaravati foundation laying ceremony on Dasara, for which KCR visited Vijayawada and attended the ceremony.
This meeting unfolded a new chapter in the relations between KCR and Naidu, who are arch political rivals.
This meeting also cooled down confrontation atmosphere between both the CMs and both the states (AP and TS) as two leaders were engaged in bitter battle over bifurcation-related issues and cash-for-vote case since United AP was bifurcated in June 2014.
The good, bad and ugly side of Chennai after floods
Chennai: The floods in Chennai and its suburbs which have put millions into misery also showed the good, bad and the ugly sides of people and organisations.
On the positive side, several individuals opened up their residences to strangers caught in the floods and provided food and shelter.
Without waiting for the official agencies, many individuals started offering food to the flood hit and also provided whatever they could — biscuits, blankets and more.
Those who had access to the internet posted messages on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter about stranded people so that help could reach them.
There were — and are — unscrupulous traders who jacked up the prices of milk, eggs and vegetables. But there are those who stuck to honest trading practice.
“We sell milk and other essential items at normal rates. We have not jacked up the prices. In fact I donated cooked food to the flood hit which cost me Rs.60,000,” Muthu, owner of Angalaparameswari Stores, a provision store in Mylapore in south Chennai, told IANS.
Voluntary organisations and others gave away food and biscuit packets near water- logged areas.
On the bad side, apart from traders who jacked up prices of essential commodities, autorickshaw and taxi drivers fleeced people even for plying short distances.
“Why blame the auto-rickshaw and taxi drivers? Look at private airlines. They ripped off passengers by charging sky high rates to fly people out of Bengaluru to Delhi,” T.E.N. Simhan, a private sector employee, told IANS.
“Is it not an irony when even common people are contributing their bit to the flood affected, airlines took advantage of people’s distress,” he asked.
With Chennai Airport closed for days due to flooding of the runway, many people from other places reached Bengaluru to fly out to their destinations.
Surinder Singh of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) told IANS that he paid a whopping Rs.25,600 to a private airline to fly to Delhi out of Bengaluru.
According to reports, vandals are breaking into locked houses in flood hit areas in Chennai and swimming away with valuables.
Guru, Sishya In Love With Same Actress

Nannaku Prematho Still Open, NTR’s Garage Closed!
As per trade sources Junior NTR’s upcoming flick Nannaku Prematho business is not closed yet but his next film tentatively titled Janatha Garage business is almost done!
Nannaku Prematho is gearing up Sankrathi release and Janata Garage is yet to hit the floors.
If the reports are to be believed producer of Nannaku Prematho is quoting high rates to which buyers are hesitating taking Sukumar’s track record into consideration.
Sukumar hasn’t scored a big hit with a big star until now. His experimental ideas may or may not click with the masses. So buyers are not willing to invest big on this one.
On the other hand Janata Garage sold like a hot cake with Koratala Siva wielding the mega phone.
Buyers who have bought Mythri Movie Makers previous blockbuster Srimanthudu bought this one too. Only Ceded business is still open for Janata Garage.
Doubts over Nannaku Prematho Sankranthi release are still on as the movie is still on the sets.
