Young actress Anisha Ambrose who made debut with Alias Janaki was elated when she was given an opportunity to work with none other than Pawan Kalyan in Gabbar Singh sequel. Eyebrows were raised when Pawan opted to cast Anisha over many other star heroines for the sequel. However things didn’t work out as planned as Pawan decided to replace the director and heroine. Director Sampath Nandi was replaced by Bobby and Anisha gave way to Kajal Agarwal.

With Sardaar Gabbar Singh slipping out of hands young Anisha has been out of news for many days. She took some time to recover from that powerful blow by Powerstar who has shattered all her dreams of making it big in the film industry. Anisha is finally back to work as she bagged a film opposite Sundeep Kishan. She will be playing the female lead in Neram remake directed by Anil Kanneganti. Tentatively titled 123 this film will start rolling shortly. Anisha was last seen as the TV reporter in Pawan Kalyan, Venkatesh starrer Gopala Gopala.

In a compelling advertisement created by e-commerce biggie Myntra and apparel brand Anouk, “Ahalya” fame Radhika Apte has addressed the bias being faced by pregnant women in Corporate world. As part of the “Bold Is Beautiful” series, they have earlier addressed problem of lesbians, and now focused on issues of pregnant.

Apparently the ad deals with a corporate boss of a construction company and her Senior Architect, played by Radhika Apte, as the lady boss explains why company removed from a top project. She’s denied a promotion because of her pregnancy, as the company confirms that she can’t be around the client 24 hours.

In the climax, the cinematic twist addresses the competition spirit women have, saying that they can handle both work and pregnancy at same time. Radhika is a treat to watch and respect for her grows double, watching this.

Nikhil and Nanditha starrer Sankarabharanam released yesterday to decent collections across the Telugu states. As per the trade sources, the comedy thriller minted around Rs 1.5 Crores in AP and Telangana on day one and this is biggest opener for Nikhil till date.

Due to poor reviews, mixed word-of-the-mouth and high costs involved, it’s unlikely that the buyers of Sankarabharanam recover their money. Though day 1 opening is good, trade analysts are not sure how long the collections remain so. Pulling off the film is definitely not a cake walk for Nikhil and Kona.

Sankarabharanam is free make of Bollywood sleeper hit Phas Gaye Re Obama. But, Telugu makers have failed to adopt and present it rightly in Telugu. Neither the movie has adequate entertainment we expect from the ace writer Kona Venkat nor has any uniqueness in the narration like Nikhil’s recent films. Except for few comedy bits, the film has nothing much to describe.

Analysts predict, Sankarabharanam will do decent business for this week until arrival of Ravi Teja’s Bengal Tiger gracing theaters on 11th of this month.

Tamil hero Siva Kartikeyan is neither too small, but not too big. Despite several hits under his belt, top heroines are not coming forth to pair opposite him. Recently, Samantha, who had no issues working with Bellamkonda Srinivas in his maiden film, rejected a proposal to work with him. But now, two top notch heroines have come forward to work with him. They are Trisha and Nayantara. But, the catch is that both the heroines are demanding fat sums for the film.

Nayan is already in the Rs 3 crore league and is demanding the same for the film. Not to be outdone, Trisha, who has recently worked with a veteran like Kamal Haasan, too is demanding the same amount to work with the Chota hero. If the producers agree to their proposals, they may have to shell out Rs 6 crore for both the heroines. But, the hero is still in the Rs 1.5 crore range. If things workout as planned, then the hero’s remuneration would be one fourth of the heroines’ remuneration.

Kona Venkat wasn’t ready at any cost to own a share of wrong credits which resulted in the failure of last three films ‘Tripura, Akhil’ and ‘Bruce Lee.’ While we all know that Kona even made some controversial remarks against Vytla for not using those 72 scenes he submitted as a part of screen writing job on ‘Bruce Lee.’ For a moment, audience started to believe in Kona and his confidence was at peaks with respect to ‘Sankarabharanam’ released yesterday. Well, the real verdict is out and Kona has no way left to escape this time because ‘Sankarabharanam’ is well publicized as a brain child of Kona and debutant director Uday Nandanavanam merely looked like a puppet in Kona hands during all the pre release promotions.

Inference is strong and clear. Kona is completely messed up understanding the real essence of ‘Phas Gaya Re Obama’ and his ultimate skill is exposed in the remake. ‘Definitely Vytla would have just followed those 72 scenes submitted by Kona for ‘Bruce Lee’ which resulted in disaster result. If at all Vytla used his own set of skills in re-modifying those episodes, result might have been far better,’ a comment heard in film circles… completely contrast to what Kona stated before media.

Sundeep Kishan and Rakul Preet Singh have jointly enjoyed their first and best breaks with ‘Venkatadri Express.’ Cashing on this break, Rakul became a star heroine bagging the offers besides star heroes including that of Ramcharan while Sundeep struck to his versatile selection and remained best in his zone. However, a recently signed movie by Sundeep happens to be Telugu remake of Tamil hit film ‘Neram’ which had Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazeem in main leads.

The romantic-thriller with lot of exciting elements is rightly picked by director Anil Kanneganti for Telugu remake and Sundeep had no qualms in signing the assignment with in one sitting. Apparently, Sundeep wanted his lucky charm Rakul to be a part of the movie and makers have approached her only to face the rejection quoting on unavailability of call sheets. Latest buzz says that, Anisha Ambrose who earlier was taken as option for ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ besides Pawan is now in for Sundeep. This is a brilliant opportunity and Anisha should cash on it in the absence of Rakul.

Young and energetic hero Ram is here with first look poster of his new movie ‘Nenu Sailaja’ released just a few minutes back. Apparently, Ram needs an immediate hit after his last disaster ‘Shivam.’ This time, Ram is not as energetic as his last few looks because ‘Nenu Sailaja’ is learnt to be a sensitive and pure love story with clean entertainment. In sync with the title and flavor of film, makers have released a simple first look with Ram and heroine Keerthy Suresh walking in the rain.

Directed by Kishore Tirumala with Devi Sri Prasad composing the music, this project was earlier titled as ‘Hari Katha’ but later changed to ‘Nenu Sailaja.’ Ram looks pretty simplistic and so is the heroine Keerthy Suresh. All this is confirming a point that, ‘Nenu Sailaja’ will have natural treatment with realistic performances from artists. Finally, what Ram needs is a strong come back and hopefully, he will thrills us in early January or mid February as Hari because ‘Nenu Sailaja’ is Hari’s love story.
