Is Hyderabad Air Safe?
With the ever growing industries and construction of high-rises, the air pollution in Hyderabad is increasing at alarming levels. In the latest Air Quality Index recorded by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) at 4 pm on Thursday, Hyderabad’s AQI has been proved to be ‘satisfactory’ with the city’s AQI being 91.
However, the pollution levels keep varying from day to day and from satisfactory to moderate. Environmental experts opine that Hyderabad’s air still poses certain dangers to older people, infants and kids and those with chronic breathing related diseases like Asthma and may even aggravate heart diseases.
Hyderabad’s air is polluted by a deadly mixture of Sulphur Dioxide and fine Particulate Matter (PM2.5). In a consolation, Hyderabad’s pollution is several levels lesser compared to some major Indian cities like Delhi (321 – Very Poor), Mumbai (126 – Moderate), Pune (211 – Poor) and Varanasi (302 – Very Poor) etc. Surprisingly, the IT city Bengaluru recorded the lowest level of pollution with (59 – Satisfactory).
No More Baahubali And Rudramadevi!!!
Baahubali is the biggest budgeted Telugu film ever, while Rudramadevi is a film made on history after long time. Leaving their whims and fancies as giants aside, both these films had a fair share of hurting other small budgeted films in the race, because of their clarity-less planning over the release date.
Without confirming that July 10th is their date, Baahubali has looked at various slots from April thereby confusing many other films like Vishnu’s Dynamite and Mahesh’s Srimanthudu which are aiming at some dates. And then, Rudramadevi is the baap of all postponements as a new date was announced almost four times due to some issues related to financial stuff.
If their personal reasons for postponements are justified, what about the domino effect of these release date miss-outs? Films like Shankarabaranam got postponed for nearly 2-3 months due to Rudrama’s bad planning. As these biggies didn’t declared their release date firmly, other small films are confused when to start their promotions. By the time small films kick-started their promotion, fixing particular date, these biggies suddenly joined the race by postponing their dates.
Except Bruce Lee that got fixed on October 16th as their date nearly 4 months in advance, all other biggies juggled their dates upsetting other films. How to tackle this issue anyway? Can small film makers feel a touch of security by laying strict conditions over release dates for biggies? Maybe it’s possible. In Bollywood and Kollywood as well, films bigs or small, have to fix their date two months in advance and will not be allowed to defer it by a week or two.
If they miss the date, they need to wait for a month in Chennai, while 2-3 months in Hindi arena. Telugu producers are now planning to bring same rule into existence for Tollywood with effective from January 1st, 2016. Also if someone want release date change, next possible date should be picked only after leaving four Fridays. So, there will not be a chance of freehand to films like Baahubali and Rudramadevi to alter their release dates as per their comfort and choice.

Gabbar Singh Girl Pairs Up with Sundeep!

Anisha who was announced as female lead opposite Pawan in Sardaar was later replaced by Kajal Aggarwal. While it was a huge disappointment for her, she hasn’t got good offers for a while and she was written off.
In a relief to her, she has been cast as a female lead opposite Sundeep Kishan in his next. Anisha will be pairing up with Sundeep in the Telugu remake of Tamil Superhit Neram. While Sundeep steps into the shoes of Nivin Pauly, Anisha reprise Nazriya role in the original.

Chennai Floods: When Reel Heroes Became Real Heroes
Chennai: With Tamil Nadu reeling under the worst floods to hit the state in a century and with rescue operations getting underway, actors Siddharth and RJ Balaji, popular among Tamil audiences, turned out to help the people. Siddharth was one of the victims of the rains. His house in the city was submerged, but that didn’t stop him from stepping out and helping those in need. Along with Balaji, who is also a popular radio jockey, the “Rang De Basanti” star formed teams to help stranded people in different parts of the city. People came forward and lent their cars which were used to rescue people from the flooded areas. Siddharth was soon joined by actors Vishnu Vishal, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Karthi, Khushbu Sundar and Vishal Krishna Reddy. Popular multiplexes like SPI Cinemas and AGS Cinemas opened their doors to offer shelter. The two-member team grew bigger with the support of many volunteers, mostly from the common people. “It was heartening to see Siddharth and Balaji come out and help people. We were touched by their gesture and thus wanted to help too,” Ram Kumar, who joined Siddharth and his team of volunteers, told IANS. The teams went around the city collecting food packets, 50 to 100 per batch, and other essentials and getting them delivered to people. Those who couldn’t come out and volunteer were requested to send donations to Chennai Micro Fund trust, which was used to carry out relief work.
Social media played a pivotal role in this movement, helping the city to get back on its feet. Rescue and relief operations were carried out with the help of Twitter. Since most telecommunication networks took a hit due to the heavy downpour, people used the social media platform to reach out to one another. From updating people about the situation on the ground to tracking somebody’s whereabouts with the website chennairains.org collating all information, social media played a big role. Support also came from maestro Ilayaraja who, on learning that the Little Flower Convent catering to visually challenged, deaf and mute children was under four feet of water, immediately paid them a visit. The 72-year-old insisted on meeting the children, despite being warned of the high water level. With life yet to return to normal in the state, these stars continue to work round-the-clock doing their bit to help those in need.
Manchu Vishnu’s Sarada with Anjali
Heroine Anjali is going to pair up with Manchu Vishnu in his next Sarada. Though initially Amala Paul was considered, finally the makers have zeroed in on Anjali who is riding high in her career. Anjali is currently busy with Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 99th film Dictator.
She would be joining Vishnu’s Sarada after she gets free. With this Vishnu decided to give some break for Sarada. He will soon be starting his next with director Nageshwar Reddy. On other hand, Anjali is sizzling with splashy cameos.
While she dazzled as Munni in Nikhil’s Sankarabharanam, she will be seen dancing alongside Stylish Star Allu Arjun in Sarainodu. But Anjali pairing up with Vishnu is raising curiosity on the film. Inside buzz is that the movie is going to be outright comedy. Sonarika, who shot to fame with Jadoogadu, will also be seen alongside Vishnu.
Pawan Chief Guest for Balayya’s Dictator?
Rumours are rife that Power Star Pawan Kalyan would grace the audio launch of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Dictator. Tinsel ville is abuzz that Pawan would be invited as the chief guest for the grand gala do considering Kona Venkat’s close association with Power Star. However, sources in the unit quickly deny that none other than Balakrishna would be the chief guest.
Although initially, the producer & director Sriwass and unit wanted to invite AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, Nandamuri Balakrishna gently turned down apparently saying that he wants the event more likely to be a filmy do and not as a political event.
Apparently he also said that Mr Naidu is too busy with his works related to new capital city Amaravati and disturbing him often won’t be look good. So, for now, no Pawan Kalyan is not invited for Dictator audio launch.
So, for people who wanted to see both the stars together, it’s quite disappointment. But one thing is sure that Balakrishna has good regards for Pawan Kalyan for his ‘unselfish’ support to the party during the general elections 2014.
Biggest Comedy In Kona’s Shankarabaranam
Googly is what they say, about this reaction faced by Kona Venkat upon the release of his latest movie Shankarabaranam. First day’s first show itself generated negative talk about the flick’s content and that lead to people blasting him for over confidence and also criticising other talented filmmakers like Sreenu Vaitla.
If we have to discuss about the most silly and logic-less point from this Nikhil and Nandita starrer, what could we talk about other than the title itself. When names of all the characters have Bihari nativity like Happy Takur and Rajjo Takur, how come their house is named “Shankarabaranam”, a pure Telugu word. That happens to be the biggest comedy Kona has every made.
Also a classic movie of same name, directed by K Viswanath, spoke volumes about music, while there is no such connection in this crime comedy. Anyway, who expected that Kona will give perfect justification for grabbing that classic title. At least, the film would have impressed if not this title justification.
Sunil turns Jakkanna
Comedian turned hero, Sunil is in a flops streak for a long time and is hoping on his next to make it big. The actor is silently shooting for his next, a horror comedy in the direction of Raksha fame Vamsi Krishna Akella. The shooting of the movie is almost in its last leg.
The makers of the film reportedly are considering ‘Jakkanna’ as the title for the film. It may be reminded that SS Rajamouli, who strives for perfection, is fondly called Jakkanna by people close to him.
Bollywood girl Mannara Chopra, cousin of Priyanka Chopra is romancing Sunil in this movie. R Sudarshan Reddy, who earlier produced the blockbuster horror comedy, Prema Katha Chitram, is also producing the movie under his RCA Creations banner.
Ram Charan rejects Sukumar
It is not that Sukumar approached Ram Charan with a script instead, she sent his Kumari 21F heroine, Hebah Patel to be considered for Ram Charan’s next, Thani Oruvan remake in the direction of Surrender Reddy.
Ram Charan reportedly accepted it and done a photoshoot and audition of Hebah Patel. However she was rejected saying that she needs to brush up her acting skills a lot. But sources with the movie unit tells us that Ram Charan did not like the recommendation in the first place since he sees her as a small heroine.
Hebah Patel now may pair up once again with Raj Tharun in his next with Manchu Vishnu, a remake of Punjabi film directed by G.Nageswara Reddy. Buzz is that she was recommend to Vishnu by Sukumar himself.
Kabir Dulhan Singh joins Sardaar Gabbar Singh
Kabir Dulhan Singh who impressed every one as a baddie with Gopichand’s Jil is one of the busy villains down the South. Today he joined the shooting of Sardaar Gabbar Singh in Gujarat. Few important scenes between him and Pawan Kalyan are being shot.
The shooting will now go non-stop till completion as they plan Summer 2016 release for the film. Earlier the makers have planned Sankranthi release for the movie but it did not happen as the movie shooting was delayed several times due to various reasons. Kajal Agarwal is the heroine in this film.
This is the first time Pawan Kalyan and Kajal Agarwal are pairing up for a film. Vulturous beauty Lakshmi Rai will be playing a special role in Pawan Kalyan’s next, Sardaar Gabbar Singh. She will be also seen in a special hot item song in the movie offering her oomph and glamour.
Sundeep Kishan to romance Pawan Kalyan’s girl
Our readers are aware that Sundeep Kishan is doing a film titled 123 which is the remake of Malayalam super hit, Neram. The movie team now roped in Anisha Ambrose as the heroine in the film. She is the girl who was first selected as heroine in Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh but was dropped in the last minute.
Sundeep Kishan and Anisha Ambrose will reprise the roles which brought superstardom to Nivin Pauly and Nazriya. This movie is being produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri on Pixel Dreams India P Ltd banner and presented by Anil Sunkara on AK Entertainments India Pvt Ltd.
