Mumbai: Singer Kanika Kapoor who enthralled India with her famous Baby Doll song that featured Sunny Leone, has come up with another interesting song now. It features sexy siren of Bollywood Sunny Leone as the Super Girl from China.

The song has been crooned by Kanika and Mika Singh. The peppy track which has been penned by Shabbir Ahmed has been directed by Ahmed Khan. Sunny debuted in Bollywood with the movie Jism 2 in 2012. Since then there has been no looking back for this star. The actress is currently working on ‘Mastizaade’ which is all set to hit the theatres next year.

Action hero Gopichand scored a hit after ages with “Loukyam” and the content of the film was usual stuff with routine comedy. Then he tried to experiment a little with “Jil” but result toppled. Seems like he’s back to safe stuff now with after that lump in throat moment.

“Soukhyam” is the latest movie of Gopichand, which has AS Ravikumar Chowdary directing it and Regina Cassandra as the leading lady. As usual, Gopi looks handsome and repeats the same magic. Regina’s glamour and comedy liners are going to be the asset.

Those punch lines become routine for this hero, but still they enthral. Ultimate treat comes from Prithvi, who takes to imitating Prabhas’ Sivudu character with his Sivalingam lift. Expect crackers from him this time, after his Burning Star Babloo acts in Loukyam earlier. All is well in this safe game.

Sometime back heroine Samantha has funnily pointed out that Superstar Mahesh is not only signing a horde of brands, but also grabbing those brands that feature heroines in their ads. Indirectly she hinted about South India Shopping Mall and couple of other ads that are given to Mahesh post working with this Chennai hottie. Here is another competitor for her.

For many brands that find little difficult to accommodate Mahesh as their Brand Ambassador, no doubt this youngster has become the best alternative. He’s none other than youngster Akkineni Akhil. Despite the fact that his debut film didn’t do well at box office, his image hasn’t taken any dent. Brands like Bambino, Mountain Dew and social activists like Peta are still after him. Today he is officially signed as brand ambassador of South India Shopping Mall too.

Earlier this shopping mall ads used to feature Samantha and then Mahesh Babu took over from her. Now Akhil emerged as their competitor. What say Samantha now? This is on a lighter vein, while reality remains that many brands need a new face every year.

The Jagapathi Babu-starrer Hithudu is all set to release on December 11. The film was supposed to release long ago, but was postponed due to unknown reasons. Viplove is making his directorial debut with this film.The film has already been shown to a select group of people, who have praised the director. The film revolves around Jagapathi Babu and Meera Nandam.

Most of the film was shot around Araku and Vizag. The actor plays an ideologist who believes that the society can change only through education. The actor has different shades in the film. Actually, he had signed this film long before accepting negative roles. So now, it will be interesting to see how the audience receives the film.

Anjali, who is popular in both Telugu and Tamil industries, is doing a cameo in the Manchu Vishnu-starrer Sarada. Sonarika of Jadoogadu fame is playing the female lead in this film directed by Karthik Reddy. According to a source, the makers had first approached Amala Paul for the role, but she wasn’t interested. Then they approached Anjali, who liked the role and gave her nod.

Interestingly, this is the third Telugu film for which she is doing a cameo. The first being Sankarabharanam, followed by a special song in the Allu Arjun-Boyapati Srinu film Sarainodu. The source reveals that the actress is also quoting a high price for these special appearances. Currently, Sarada’s shooting is going on in and around the city at a brisk pace.

After being disappointed with her last film Size Zero, Anushka is now concentrating on her upcoming films. The actress is going to start shooting for Singam 3 opposite Suriya at Vizag and then she will join the Baahubali 2 shoot. According to a source, Baahubali’s shooting will begin from January, so they told Anushka that she can accommodate her dates for Singam 3.

“Music director Keeravani has started his song recordings on Thursday and after this, Rajamouli is planning to start the shoot,” says a source. In the second part of Baahubali, since Anushka’s role is lengthy, she has given bulk dates to them. In the meantime, she will also complete the shooting of Oopiri, where she is doing a cameo, also starring Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamannaah.

Chennai: The unprecedented rains in Chennai have left the city marooned and helpless. The rich and privileged have not been spared either. Kamal Haasan, who lives on the posh Eldams Road, is relatively sheltered and safe from the deluge. But many of his friends and relatives have been greatly affected. Speaking exclusively from his residence in Chennai Kamalji says, “To describe the situation as calamitous would be an understatement. If this can happen in Chennai, can you imagine the plight of the rest of Tamil Nadu?” The angry and upset superstar added, “It’s a nightmare for the poor and middle class. The rich should feel guilty. I am not so rich and yet I feel guilty when I look outside my window and see how people in my city are suffering.” He also lashed out at the powers-that-be for neglecting their civic duties. “The entire system has collapsed. It will take Chennai months to get back to normal even when the rains stop. Where is all of the taxpayer’s money going? I don’t take black money. I pay my taxes. What is being done for me and my people with my hard-earned money?”

Haasan feels it is time to question the basic tenet of civil existence. The star question, “I have no God. And I definitely won’t accept the authority and decisions of the self-appointed Gods, the politicians. The ruling party, whoever they are, don’t mind spending Rs.4000 crores for corporate projects. We are 120 crore people in the country. Why not distribute all the 4000 crore rupees among us? That would make all Indians tri-crorepatis.” The actor, who is known to stand up for causes is extremely disillusioned by the collapse of the state administration in Tamil Nadu. Kamal ended the conversation saying, “I am truly sad and sick. I feel guilty for my being in a comfortable home. I earn very little compared to the governments. But now when our state is in distress they are asking for donations to do what we appointed the government to do. Of course I will pay because I am constrained to respect the government’s authority. The reason I pay is not to be perceived as one the rich who suck on people, because I am not. I love my people truly. All this drama of rich and poor is a farce, though. The politicians give a damn about social equality as long as they remain in power.”

Hebah Patel was quite appreciated for her performance in the film Kumari 21F, opposite Raj Tharun. Despite it being her second Telugu film, Hebah surprised everyone with her mature acting. And now, the actress is going to romance Raj once again in an upcoming film directed by G. Nageswara Reddy. Anil Sunkara is producing this film while Manchu Vishnu and Raj are playing the lead actors.

The actress signed on the dotted line on Wednesday and the shoot will commence shortly. This film is a remake of a Punjabi film that the producer liked and later, bought the rights. “Both the director and producer were impressed with Hebah’s performance in Kumari 21F and roped her in for their film,” says a source. Currently, Nageswara is working on Aatadukundam Ra with Sushanth and Sarada with Vishnu.

The  Chennai floods have got the whole city paralysed and Chennaites have been helping each other in these troubled times. However, here’s the legendary actor Kamal Haasan who is thoroughly unhappy about the whole city being marooned by the flood waters.

Speaking to a national newspaper, Kamal fumed saying, “I am sad and sick. I feel guilty for being in a comfortable home. I earn very little compared to the governments. But now, when Tamil Nadu is in distress, they are asking for donations to do what we appointed the government to do so.”

Kamal lashed out further at the government questioning, “where is all of the taxpayers’ money going to? I pay my taxes. What is being done for me and my people with my hard-earned money?”

Well, Kamal really seems to be displeased with the authorities. But going by his past tussles with the Jayalalithaa government, one can’t stop but worrying about him getting into further problems with Amma.
