Nani has suffered a series of flops before bouncing back with Bhale Bhale Magadivoi. This entertainer has not only given him the much needed hit but also boosted his dwindling confidence. Most of the hits in Nani’s career were pure entertainers. Be it Ashta Chamma, Ala Modalaindi or Bhale Bhale, Nani scored big hits with these comedies. Despite being aware of this stat, Nani is once again taking risk by attempting a murder mystery. Nani will be seen in a thriller film directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti. He is the director who has introduced Nani as hero with the movie Ashta Chamma.

Nani is paying back to his mentor and guru by signing up a movie under him after scoring a big blockbuster. Mohana Krishna has not been in a good form of late but Nani is not bothered about those things and simply doing this out of gratitude. Nani always has this penchant for attempting different genres but sadly things didn’t turn out as expected. Let’s see if this movie works out and gives him the confidence of trying out different genres.

We reported earlier that NTR has dropped off his movie Nannaku Prematho from the competition for Pongal time. This has already been confirmed by the trade. At present only three straight movies are coming for the Sankranthi festival. Chief among them are Balakrishna’s Dictator and Nagarjuna’s Soggade Chinni Nayana both are releasing with a day gap between them on the festival time. So after long time both these senior actors are going to compete with each other.

While there is also another movie in the race – Sunil starrer Krishnastami but it cannot be considered as main competition given the fact that Sunil has lost all the craze. Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Dictator which is currently shooting in New Delhi will be hitting the screens on 14th of January on the day of Bhogi. On the other hand Nagarjuna’s family entertainer Soggade Chinni Nayana would release on 15th of January, on the day of Makara Sankranthi. Get ready for fight between Nandamuri’s and Akkineni’s on screen once again.

The beauty became popular on small screen with her TV show Dhee Juniors and is now entering as heroine with Naga Shourya’s movie which is being produced by Madhura Sridhar. Some of the movie makers who happened to see the footage of her acting and they are totally blew by her beauty and confidence in acting.

The word spread like fire in the movie industry and she is inundated with offers from many makers but her father Naga Babu politely turned down, sources say. Naga Babu doesn’t want his daughter to sign more movies before her first film releases on screen. He has given the same advice to his son Varun Tej.

The occupation of seven acres of land by the Annapurna Studios owned by Akkineni Nagarjuna has always been controversial. Now, it is back in the news again. According to sources, the Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited authorities are eyeing a part of this piece of land belonging to Annapurna Studios for the metro rail purposes, as there is no other land available for the same. The authorities have reportedly approached a people’s representative to negotiate with Nagarjuna to part with the land, which falls in the Metro Rail alignment.

Sources said several individuals would be losing their properties because of the metro rail which is passing along the route. The piece of land belonging to Annapurna Studios could be used by the HMRL authorities either for the railway line purposes or providing alternative sites for those who would be losing their properties. The outcome of these negotiations with Nagarjuna is not yet known.

Latest to join the list is actress Kajal Agarwal who just got the chance to share the screen space with the Tollywood’s top star with the film Sardaar Gabbar Singh.

Kajal’s long wait of associating with Power Star ends with the Bobby directorial. Kajal wrapped up her part for the ongoing Vadodara schedule. “It is my first film with Pawan Kalyan sir and it has been fantastic working with him. Recently, Sunny was shocked when she stepped onto the sets of her upcoming film co-starring Tusshar and Vir Das, Milap Zaveri’s adult comedy, Mastizaade. The stylist on the film informed Sunny that she would have to take her fitness to an all new level because the wardrobe of the entire film consisted of 2 dresses, a pair of shorts and crop top and 27 bikinis!

Sunny was almost in tears because she would have to give up on her favourite meal, the pizza! The day’s shoot ended with Sunny storming off the set before a single shot was taken. Some serious effort was made by Milap, Rangita Nandy, Vir Das and Tusshar to convince Sunny.

So Sunny wore her 27 bikinis and looked stunning in each one. Mastizaade, the crazy and naughty comedy co-written by Milap Zaveri and Mushtaq Sheikh is a raunchy comedy of errors revolving around the hilarious and playful characters played by Vir Das and Tusshar who fall for the twin sisters, Lily Lele and Laila Lele, played by Sunny.

He’s back. The eccentric filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is back to making headlines once again and this time, he chose the Chennai floods and film stars’ donations to unleash his fury. RGV took to his Twitter page and vented out his frustration over film stars ego have been donating towards the Chennai floods relief aid.

However, sources close to the makers of ‘Raayabari’ disclosed that it would an out and out action entertainer and Varun Tej essays the role of an undercover cop in this movie. As Varun Tej’s upcoming film ‘Loafer’ is also being made with romantic, family and action elements, the actor seems to be aiming at a big star status with the nonstop successes of these commercial potboilers. Meanwhile, ‘Loafer’ is slated for release on December 18.

We have heard the names like King Nagarjuna and Rajasekhar to sport the role of a main villain in Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s new film which is the remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Thani Oruvan’. And recently Aravind Swamy, who reprized villain’s role in original version, has been gossiped to have been approached by the makers of Telugu version and offered him Rs.5 crores as a remuneration to do the crucial role.

Latest snippet says, all these are mere speculations and the makers haven’t roped in any actor as a villain for the movie. Ram Charan, who has been back to Hyderabad after his holidaying, will soon, himself, select the villain of the movie and the news maybe out soon. The movie will be directed by Surender Reddy. Mega Producer Allu Aravind and NV Prasad are likely to produce the movie.
