Cheekati Rajyam likely to postponed?

Universal Hero Kamal Hassan’s Thoongavanam released in Tamil Nadu for Diwali and is doing decently there. Its Telugu version, Cheekati Rajyam was postponed to November 20th back then due to Akhil storm here. But now doubts linger on if the movie will release on 20th.

The makers are yet to finalize the local distributors here even as the movie is just days away from its release. We are said that the makers are sitting on the current offers as they look for better price.

The movie may postpone or the makers may release on their own if they have to come for November 20th. If the movie gets postponed, it will be an advantage for Sukumar’s maiden production venture, Kumari 21F.

Babu Using Chiru, Pawan To Mislead Kapus

Recently, Janasena Party President Pawan Kalyan’s meeting with the AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu created a lot of flutter among the political circles in the Telugu states. Political analysts opined that this meeting has put an end to the rising dissent among Kapus over the TDP Chief Chandrababu.

However, former TDP leader and ex-minister from Kirlampudi Mudragada Padmanabham lashed out at Chandrababu saying that the AP CM is misleading all the Kapus by using Pawan and his brother Chiranjeevi. Mudragada said that Babu conveniently ignored his election promise of including Kapus in the BCs category.

Mudragada further stated that he will organize a Kapu Ikya Garjana on 31st January demanding the BC status. The senior leader also reminded Babu’s poll promises like setting up a corporation for Kapus, allotting 1000 crore fund for Kapus welfare etc.

Warning of a series of mass protests until Babu passes a GO including Kapus in the BCs, Mudragada said that the Kapus inclusion in the BCs must be done on population basis and without affecting the SC, ST reservations.

Charan’s Interest On Comic MLA Candidate

What’s Ram Charan up to at the moment? Of course he’s busy touring in the USA for his personal pleasure. Taking a break from hectic schedules of work that have made him tiresomely take part in shootings and promotions for 5 months, he’s spending quality time abroad. Here is an interesting news being heard about him.

A news is doing rounds that Charan wants to buy the remake rights of a Tamil movie which hasn’t become a runaway hit at box office but managed to get critical appreciation. Title of the film is ’49-o’ and it has veteran Tamil comedian Gounder Mani in the lead.

It’s all about Gounder’s comedy where he contests for an MLA post as an independent and how he wins. Reports are arriving that Charan wants this film to be remade in Telugu under his upcoming production house, White Horse Entertainment.

Looking at this comedy film, we can’t imagine that this is either for Chiranjeevi’s 150th film or for Charan himself. So, rumours in those lines could be put off, while much clarity on ’49 O’ will come only after Charan speaks up.

Chandrababu Naidu Got Me Arrested: Nani

YSR Congress MLA from Gudivada Kodali Nani, who was arrested earlier in the day following his argument with police over vacating YSRCP, roped in AP CM Chandrababu Naidu’s name into the issue. Nani alleged that he was arrested at the behest of Chandrababu Naidu. Pointing out why the YSR Congress Party Office in Gudivada was vacated without any prior notice, Nani said that TDP leaders taking revenge on him.

Nani also challenged Mr Naidu to contest from Gudivada on TDP ticket. He stated that he will win in the next general elections from Gudivada with huge majority.

Earlier, Nani had tiff with the owner of a building in which YSRCP office is being maintained. When the owner locked the building as due rent is not paid for months, Nani tried to enter the building and had an argument with the building owner.

Police who were deployed there also came to rescue of the owner and Nani entered into argument with cops as well. Following this, police arrested Nani and shifted him to Mudinepalli police station. Nani was later released on bail.

‘KCR Performing Chandi Yagam To Escape Death’

Telangana TDP’s firebrand leader Revanth Reddy once again resorted to a scathing attack on his arch rival and Telangana CM KCR. Addressing a huge crowd during his election campaign in Warangal today, Revanth said that KCR is performing Chandi Yagam to escape death.

Lashing out further, Revanth stated that KCR caused severe injustice to dalits in the state by ousting the former Deputy CM Rajaiah. Demanding KCR’s stance on Rajaiah’s ousting, Revanth termed the Warangal by-polls as a testimony of KCR’s injustice to dalits.

Not stopping with this, Revanth said that KCR is scared of KTR and Harish Rao and that he has been taking shelter in Warangal for the last three days to escape from the threat from his own house.

Terming KCR as a zero valued politician, Revanth said that the CM will never be able to get funds from Modi and asked the voters to vote for the NDA candidate who can bring more funds.

Keeravani Dedicated That Song To NTR

Veteran music director MM Keeravani composed the heart wrenching song Raalipoye Puvva Neeku Raagalenduke for the film Mathrudevobhava. The song literally made every film lover cry and it was also given the national award for best lyrics. In a recent TV interview, Keeravani was asked to sing the song and the music composer refused to sing.

Explaining the reason behind his refusal, Keeravani said that Young Tiger NTR once told him that the song was his favorite and that he sings it to himself whenever he is alone. In turn, Keeravani surprised NTR by recording the song in his voice once again and dedicated it to him.

Not stopping here, Keeravani even promised NTR that he owns the song from them and that he will never sing the song without his presence or permission. Apparently, Keeravani even refused to sing the song in several musical shows. Keeravani gave several hit numbers to NTR in films like Student No.1, Simhadri and Yamadonga.

Finally, ‘Bruce Lee’ ended up with with Rs. 41+ crores share collections bringing 20% to 30% losses to its distributors. Even then, ‘Bruce Lee’s share is almost equal to the shares of some of the successful ventures like ‘Temper’ etc. and crossed ‘Manam’, ‘Legend’ etc.

The status of a movie can better be elevated with the comparison with other crazy projects released in the same season. In that way, ‘Bruce Lee’ is elevated with the recent flop results of some other crazy projects which got very poor collections comparing with ‘Bruce Lee’ which, further, marked the range of Ram Charan. “Unless there is a good screen presence and grace in dances being exhibited by Ram Charan, ‘Bruce Lee’ couldn’t have got 41+ crores collections,” says a source.

The movie had amassed about 50 Crore share from all languages making it 11th biggest all time hit. This also makes Allu Arjun the first hero to have a hat-trick of 50 Crore share films. When we consider it as a female centric film, it is the biggest hit in the entire South India in the category.
