Akhil Akkineni’s debut movie, Akhil had finished the first weekend (5 days) at the box office. The movie had just managed to collect 16.32 Crore share in the five days run indicating that a big disaster is on the way.
The movie which had seen a pre-release business of about 47 Crore, is now unlikely to reach the 20 Crore share figure even as. The movie’s honeymoon is more or less complete by Sunday as working days begin from today.

Triplets Of Mahesh Babu Family!!
Superstar Mahesh enjoys delivering blockbuster movies for fans and unlimited pleasure for his family through foreign trips. And his wife Namrata Shirodkar makes sure that both fans and admirers will not miss Mahesh during those vacations, as she shares pictures and information about them.
Recently she shared a superb photo and commented that actually she shared pic of a triplets. And those triplets are none other than Mahesh, Gautham and Sitara. When seen by the side of childhood picture of Mahesh, both their kids look exactly like him and that’s why our ex-heroine commented that her husband and children are actually triplets. That’s a cute comparison anyway.
After returning from his Paris trip recently, Mahesh is currently taking part in Brahmotsavam shoot that is actually going on in Ramoji Film City.
Nagarjuna Confirms Box Office clash?
Here is the big news. Making Sankranthi season more interesting, actor Nagarjuna Akkineni has joined the race. If latest buzz is anything to go by, Nag’s Soggade Chinninayana is likely to be released on January 15.
Buzz is that the date has been fixed so far. Though originally makers want to release it in December, due to few reasons, the film is now going to release for Sankranthi slugging it out with Nandamuri Balakrishna and Jr NTR’s movies.
Billed to be a family entertainer featuring Nagaruna in two dual role, anchor-turned-actress Anasuya will be seen as Nag’s Maradalu (cousin) in the film. Newcomer Kalyan Krishna is testing his luck as director for the film which has story, screenplay by Radha Mohan who produced Ashta Chemma, Uyyala Jampala.
Meanwhile, Jr NTR’s Nannaku Prematho is slated for Jan 8 releas whereas Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Dictator will be hitting the screens on Jan 14. So, trade analysts are expecting a Box Office clash between Nagarjuna, Balakrishna and Jr NTR.
Baahubali in country’s most watched TV Premieres list
TAM, which gives ratings of TV channels and Programmes adjudged Baahubali as one of the highest watched TV Premiere in the history of Indian Television. The Hindi version of the movie was given sixth place in the Top 10 list of all time highest watched Top 10 World TV Premieres List.
Baahubali (Hindi) had got a TVR of 6.85 and ahead of it are Bollywood blockbusters – 3 Idiots, Body Guard, Chennai Express, Dabangg and Singham are ahead of Baahubali in the list.
In fact, Baahubali is the only dubbing film in the list and the movie arriving from South, is another huge achievement. The movie had amassed 600 Crore gross in its full run in all the languages it released.

Akhil Brings Trouble To Nitin Career?
The disaster show of Akhil Akkineni’s debut Akhil at the Box Office has had a great effect on its producers Nithiin, Sudhakar Reddy. As per the recent rules in Film Chamber, producer has to bear the losses incurred to distributors when huge money is at stake. If trade reports are anything to go by, Nithiin and Sudhakar Reddy have to shell out to the tune of Rs 20 Crore to overcome this phase. If they fail to do so, definitely the future releases of Nithiin’s would be in trouble.
Producer MS Raju too had faced similar fate sometime back as he failed to repay over Rs 7 Crore to his distributors then (Pournami, Aata) and this situation made him out of the loop and shunned him producing new films without clearing the previous balance.
Veering towards Akhil the movie was released with a deficit of Rs 10 Crore, and producers lost another Rs 10 Crore post release. With the Box Office figures are quite disappointing, producer Sudhakar Reddy, Nithiin are now trying to find out solution to get out of this situation.
Babu-Pawan’s Friendship Checkmates BJP?
Before the 2014 elections, BJP had very less chances of a revival and even TDP was facing a huge threat from Jagan’s YSRCP. Then came a ray of hope in Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena. The Powerstar expressed his support to the BJP-TDP alliance in Telugu states and played a crucial role in their victory.
But things changed in these one and a half years as Pawan, who went all out and vouched for Narendra Modi’s leadership, is now unhappy with the PM not keeping his poll promises to Andhra Pradesh, the important being the special status. Pawan in fact openly pleaded Narendra Modi to solve AP problems but little did the PM oblige Pawan’s request.
Meanwhile, Chandrababu earned Pawan’s trust after he scrapped the AP government’s land pooling notification in the capital region, following Pawan’s request. Babu even specially invited Pawan for Amaravati inaugural ceremony.
Pawan-Chandrababu friendship scripted a new chapter following Pawan’s recent meeting with Chandrababu. Pawan even announced right after his meeting that Janasena will contest in 2019 elections. Well, Pawan made this open statement right at the CM’s camp office because he is moving closer to Babu.
Adding to this, both Chandrababu and Pawan have decided not to campaign for BJP in the upcoming Warangal by-elections. This led to political circles murmuring that the honeymoon is over for BJP in AP and that 2019 polls may even see Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan forming an alliance to counter the opposition.
