But bollywood’s macho man has had some ethical issues to romance Sonam Kapoor, who’s father(Anil Kapoor) is a good friend and colleague  of Salman Khan

Salman and Anil Kapoor do share a good bond and have been cast together in many movies. Biwi No1.(remake of sathileelavathi) also was made in the duo’s combination. When Sooraj Barjatya, Director of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, approached Salman, It seems Sallu Bhai gave all sorts of reason to not romance Sonam nor be cast opposite her.

“He took five months to say yes, He first said she is tall, then said she is too young, then complained  I have seen this girl grow up, she is a baby,” But Sooraj Barjatya hasn’t budged from his stance at all and Sonam is very thankful to him for that.  “Then 5 months later he (Salman) sent me a text reading – “Okay! I have started calling Anil Kapoor, Anil Uncle, Go ahead” Shared Sooraj Barjatya. Also at an event Salman has openly stated that ” Anil Kapoor ‘WAS’ my friend but now I call him Anil Sir(to feel younger)”

What to do Sallu bhai to get a heroine of your age isn’t possible! At the least she cannot look as young as you nor as youthful as Sonam Kapoor. Off the record we guess this is what Sooraj Barjatya told Salman to convince him.

Puri Jagannath in his long career never attempted to name his movies with a soft or sentimental title. May it be ‘Idiot’ or ‘Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi’ or even ‘Heart Attack,’ he always enjoys the energy and liveliness in titles. In fact, Puri is specialized in exercising a strong judgment while deciding the titles which makes half of his promotions successful in reaching the public.

When Puri selected Varun Tej as hero for his ‘Loafer’ subject, there were quite many appreciations but criticism was also targeted at the same venture when Puri was influenced by Ram Gopal Varma to change the name from ‘Loafer’ to ‘Maa Amma Maha Lakshmi.’ Definitely, first one sounds quite massy and there is a throw in it to attract mass crowds while second one is a soft title which might be in sync with mother-son sentiment in story.

Never Puri can lean on such soft titles. It goes against his spirits. Finally, when ‘Loafer’ first look posters are released Varun Tej is mainly featured in front as ‘Loafer’ and Revathi that is Amma Maha Lakshmi is left behind. The film is inclined to be more of a mass action entertainer and less of sentiment and drama.

At a time when media started to highlight Chiranjeevi as the key person behind damaging Ramcharan’s career by recruiting 1980 and 90’s scripts and directors, the Mega Power Star left on a vacation to escape from pressure situation. None knows where is Charan hiding now and he will be back only in next two weeks once when ‘Bruce Lee’ becomes an un-interesting subject for media and public.

Let us see, how good the Mega producer’s involvement helps Charan to revive his fortunes.

It has been a while King Nagarjuna is out-focused with the ever growing craze for his younger son Akhil. True that, ‘Akhil’ mania has surrounded the two Telugu speaking states and this is not right time for own family members to come as a hurdle. So, Nagarjuna’s ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana, Oopiri’ and Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Sahasam Swaasagaa Saagipo’ haven’t got any new updates.

Finally, Nagarjuna is taking the initiative by adding ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ trailer to be screened along with ‘Akhil.’ Yes, for all those Akkineni Fans who are to enter into theaters for watching ‘Akhil’ will also be pleased with Nagarjuna’s trailer. Apparently, he is also planning the release of movie in December and a proper date will be announced soon after the commercial result of ‘Akhil’ comes out.

While ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ is scheduled for December release, Nag’s one more film ‘Oopiri’ in Vamsy Paidipally direction is looking at February 5th as most possible date. Karthi and Tamanna are other leads in film. If such is the case, Chaitu’s ‘Sahasam Swaasagaa Saagipo’ should fix for January. Let us see, how good their planning will be.

Ever since Varun Tej-Puri Jagannadh’s Loafer was announced several months ago, there have been several mixed reactions about the title which many thought was slightly negative for a third film old star kid like Varun Tej. Noticing the response from fans, Puri Jagannadh announced that Loafer was a working title and that a new title will be revealed soon.

Then came the title  Maa Amma Seethamahalakshmi, which was in discussion for several weeks. But all of a sudden, Puri released the film’s first look posters with Loafer again. While this sudden change of plan did surprise many, some are wondering if Varun’s last film Kanche was the reason behind it.

Kanche was an emotionally intense film as Varun’s second outing. After playing a sober small town in his debut Mukunda, Varun played a much more intense role of a Indian soldier in WWII. The film got Varun all the praises but not the required commercial break as a box-office star.

This might have prompted the Loafer team to go back to the mass title as Varun chose Loafer to get himself a break as a mass hero. The trailer is our today and it looks to be a typical Puri mark mass action entertainer and one needs to wait and watch to see if this film will quench Varun’s box-office thirst.

Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej had okayed a cameo role in Naga Chaitanya’s next, Majnu. He will be seen as Naga Chaitanya’s cousin in the film and it is a crucial role in the movie context.

The movie is the official remake of Malayalam blockbuster, Premam and will be directed by Karthikeya fame Chandoo Mondenti. The film will have its launch on 30th November and the film will start rolling immediately a day after its launch.

Shruti Hassan, Rakul Preet Singh and Anupama Parameshwaran are the heroines as per the rumour mills. Buzz is that Nagarjuna will be seen in a little cameo while Victory Venkatesh will play the hero’s father in the movie. More details of this project later.

Director Sukumar who is making his production debut with Kumari 21F, seem to be already a successful producer. He had already got table profit for Kumari 21F as the craze for the film is sky rocketing in trade and as well as audience.

Abhishek Pictures bagged the Andhra rights of the movie while Dil Raju purchased the Nizam rights of the movie paying a fancy amount to Sukumar. The recently released trailers and songs of the film have gone very well with youth and there are good expectations on the film.

Kumari 21F is all set for a grand release on 20th of this month. Director Sukumar himself penned this script for this film. Current fame Palnati Surya Pratap is wielding megaphone for this movie. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer.

An interesting talk is doing rounds in film circles about this senior comedian who was suddenly seen in TV channels and newspapers all over. Reacting to the reactions against his sexist remarks, he has tried to give clarity, warning and claim transparency all again. But, what’s the need?

This stunning south Indian beauty was cast in a gillette venus razor ad. The competitor to Gillette venus razor is the Veet hair removal cream endorsed by none other than Deepika’s old time flame’s (Ranbeer) new found love Katrina Kaif! The ad showcases Deepika advising her friend from gym to not use the hair removal cream which is evidently Veet with their signature spatula in frame

So the Veet company went to court asking for a stay on the Advertisement. Quoting that the ad would show an impact on their sales and that the broadcast of the advertisement should be stayed or at least the spatula and the tube should be blurred but to their misery the court gave a clean chit for the broadcast of Gillette venus razor ad until further orders.

Actor Sharwanand also entered the Sankranthi race with his next, Express Raja. The film directed by Venkatadri Express fame Merlapaka Gandhi will be releasing on January 14th as Sankranthi Special. The first look teaser of the film will be unveiled day after tomorrow as Diwali special.

Beeruva fame actress Surabi plays his love interest in the film. UV Creations which is one of the most happening production houses in Tollywood, is producing this movie. Besides this project, Sharwa has one more film “Yemito Ee Maya” directed by Cheran.
